I have used Gixen (both free and paid versions over the years, which is very inexpensive) and it's the only auction sniping service I'll ever use. You have to know how to work it and realize that timing is extremely important for auction sniping, and factor in server transmission delays. If you don't know how to maneuver that stuff, you will get frustrated, but that isn't Gixen's fault. Those who don't know what they're doing may blame Gixen, but the service is as flawless as such a thing can be. They are transparent and do what they say they're going to do. They are trustworthy.

Have used the free version for years, and more recently upgraded to the premium version. Works extremely well, very simple, works from mobile or PC, good communications from the service owners. Never had reason to contact their support as have never had a single issue!

I've used Gixen for over a year now and have never had any problems.

I've bought quite a few items using it. A lot of the time I get out bid, but that's partly because I'm looking to pick up items cheap in auctions which I can then restore and trade at a profit, so my bids are low...

I'm a mirror subscriber which I'd recommend for any regular user, although in fact I never missed a bid because of one of the mirror's being down.

The user interface is a bit clunky, but I don't care: I used to be a Unix sysadmin and its a lot better than that stuff;-).

Mario and the community are responsive and helpful with the odd problem.

Really I just love it and think its a great deal!

PS Mario is right: Gixen doesn't work in a way which makes it at all likely to put malware on your machine. Most web sites are much, much, worse...

Ive been a paid user for many years and I never buy direct from eBay but always go through the site. Its very easy to use. You put in your maximum bit and a few seconds before the auction ends it places your bid. If the price is lower than your maximum bit, you win it. Easy. You don't get caught up in bidding wars or miss items because you forget to bid. Once you decide on your maximum price you can just set it and walk away. Ive won many things from using it and the only times I haven't won is when the price is more than Im prepared to pay for the item so it doesn't bother me. There is no software to install, its just a website that you visit so there is no danger of spyware or malware getting onto your computer. A very happy customer.

Gixen is Great!
I have been using Gixen and Gixen Mirror service for years. As long as someone else using "Gixen" doesn't bid higher than you, the service usually wins the auction you are bidding on for you! I would and have recommended Gixen to other Ebayers for as long as I have used it.

I suffered a Stroke in 2015. It caused some brain damage issues. I have almost no short term memory. Before PC happened, I would now be classified as a mental defective. But I get by. Gixen allows me to list an item for certain and set a price I am willing to pay. I get e mailed when I have long forgotten about an item. The result is shown and I then pop to E bay and Pay. Look it's simple, it has organized me despite the mental problems I have. It removes a lot of stress about last minute bids. You can group items so you only end up with the first one won. All the other grouped bids are cancelled by a successful outcome. I had to rejoin once as my computer crashed and I lost the saved login details. No Problem I just paid for another membership and I was back in business. I do not know how to recover my old |ID. I liked the straightforwardness of a new one. Two days later I was ahead of the game due to savings far exceeding the annual fee. It has never failed me. Wqhich is why I say it is reliable. It'; s so inexpensive it's crazy cheap, yet a truly great friend to persons like myself who try to get by on a pension and have memory issues. If I am focussed on something as I am on this review at the moment, the memory issues are not apparent. However if my cat interrupts me I could forget to finish it. Or even to post it. Less than the price of a Pint in some Cities, and unlike Guiness and the like, It does do you some good, financially speaking.:-) because the items I have bought at significant savings have put a big smile on my face and keep it there. One problem about writing this review is there will be more competition for items and I may not get to win as many auctions at rediculous bargain prices BUT I supopose I have to be Honest and it is just the end of 'The season of 'Good Will To All Men' so here's my Review. I hope you do not read it. I LOVE the advantage being a Gixen User gives me. I suppose that's not too charitable but life's not fair, wise up to it! Take the advantage and run with it for goodness sake.
