Easy ordering process and super fast delivery for this time of year
I ordered the largest basket for my husband for Christmas. It was a beautiful basket filled with chocolates including three full size boxes. Instead, I received the cheapest version of the basket. It was much smaller, lacked all the decorations, and was missing several items including the three full size boxes. When I called customer service the message said they would contact me at their earliest convenience. What does that mean?! A day, a week, A YEAR?! My poor husband was so excited to get this and now he's just sad.
I had purchased two 5th Avenue Grand gift baskets, and requested that one of them be delivered on the 19th of December, the other on the 21st of December. I received "great news" from Gift Tree that both baskets were delivered on the 16th of December. Do you people not possess calendars? Why do you even bother asking for a preferred delivery date?
The Gift Tree gift was well received and totally surprised the recipient.
I MADE MY ORDER ON OR BEFORE DECEMBER 17. YOU SENT A CONFIRMATION OF DELIVERY BY DECEMBER 22. YOU NEVER SENT A SHIPPING CONFIRMATION. YOU NEVER REPLIED TO MY EMAIL ASKING WHY I HAD NOT RECEIVED A SHIPPING CONFIRMATION. TODAY AFTER SEVERAL TRIES I GOT INTO YOUR ONLINE SYSTEM TO DISCOVER THAT MY ORDER IS "BEING PREPARED FOR SHIPPING FOR DELIVERY DECEMBER 22" (TODAY). WHEN I CALLED YOUR SERVICE SAID NO ONE COULD TAKE MY CALL. YOU MADE SURE THAT YOU TOOK MY $63.25, THOUGH.
I ordered a Gold Reserve Wine Collection gift package worth $700. It arrived with one of the bottles broken which spoilt some of the rest of the items in that package as well. The friend who received the gift says they called Giftree to inform you of the issue and she was told that I would be getting contacted by Gifttree. I have not been contacted by Gifttree regarding the broken bottle and spoilt contents of the gift basket.

Easy to order, photos of baskets look lovely. However, I am extremely disappointed with this order. I read what the contents of the basket were supposed to be and based my choice on that. The recipient sent me a photo of what was received and it is nothing like what I thought I was ordering. I paid over $90 Canadian for a basket with 6 small items of popcorn and a few nuts and chocolates, value at best $20.This was my first order from your company and it will certainly be my last. I feel completely "ripped off" and embarassed at the paucity of what was supposed to be a meaningful gift. Buyers beware!
I have had great results with Gift Tree products and always experienced on time deliveries. Only issue I've had is that the pears delivered in cold winter climates have been frozen. I will continue to use Gift Tree as recipients always comment on the quality of the products!

Ordered 6 baskets for delivery on various dates this week in time for christmas.
It seems that every single one has had the delivery date pushed back (some by over a week! AND AFTER CHRISTMAS) without any notification or explanation. One order is still showing as "processing" a week later. Again, no notification or explanation.
This is the poorest service I've experienced from any delivery order I've made in the last 30 years. $700 for this?! Definitely will not be using them again.
As the sender of your products the experience could not have been better. The ordering process and more importantly ability to send to many different recipients was great, all the way down to individual confirmations of each shipment. As for the quality of the product, I did not send any to myself and I doubt the people receiving an unexpected gift will complain. I'm only hoping it was worth the $1500+ i spent.

Thank you for shopping with GiftTree! The signature fee on any delivery that contains alcohol. This is a fee that is charged directly from FedEx and UPS and we are unable to waive this portion or requirement of the signature. Regarding the Peak Season Surcharge of $4.95is set in place to offset surge pricing imposed by the carriers (UPS & FedEx).
I have reviewed your order and what caused the delay in delivery, and it was likely caused by the severe weather that impacted the warehouse from which your gift shipped from. Our team and carriers tried their best to avoid any delays, but unfortunately despite our best efforts, the weather in late December impacted some deliveries. Im so sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

1. Gift was scheduled for delivery on 12/22, which was what I told the recipient, but was delivered on 12/20. I wasn't notified until 2 hours after delivery and was unable to reach the recipient to have him check for the gift. I later found out that he opened his front door to get another scheduled delivery and found the gift box.
2. Had I waited 2 days to order I could have taken advantage of the flash sale.
Everything was OK, however, delivery was supposed to happen Friday but happened actually on Saturday.
The order was delivered on time and our daughter and son-in-law loved it!

While it is rare that a package arrives outside of the expected date, the shipping carriers do sometimes make the delivery early when they have the opportunity to run ahead of schedule.
