So disappointed. I thought the great reviews would make GiftTree an even better choice than the typical Edible Arrangements or what have you, but it turned out completely unsalvageable. Their delivery was definitely on time as scheduled, but when my mom opened it, all of the fruit was rotten/spoiled. My mom is a very traditional person with many of her Asian immigrant experiences still a prominent part of her life, which leads the way to understand that growing up, even the things that were rotten were always salvageable in some way, whether it be cutting away the bad parts or eating even the smallest piece that was still good because, "There are so many people who don't have food, and I used to be one of them, so don't waste food that can be eaten. Otherwise, give it to people who need it." For my mother to say it was completely rotten is a huge failure. Maybe it was the large volume for Mother's Day, but even then, getting rid of your inventory shouldn't be worth sacrificing quality.

I have been a frequent and loyal customer of Gifttree since 2008. This month, I ordered balloons and chocolates for a friend's birthday. They delivered it a day late. Instead of what I ordered, my friend received a bunch of flowers.

To make matters worse, the flowers were chrysanthemums, used by Asians exclusively for funerals. My friend received funeral flowers for her birthday!

To compound the damage, they did not respond to my emailed complaint. This is my only unhappy experience after ordering from them many times and getting exactly I ordered. Will not give them business ever again.

They called and said they couldn't deliver the next day had to wait till Monday AND THEN I got an email from them informing me they could NOT deliver the wine only sparking water! Seriously - I had an elderly gentleman gift basket coming with fruit and wine and you are going to deliver sparkling water and almost a week later (it was a get well present) -- with all the competition online SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND PICK ANOTHER VENDOR THIS ONE IS HORRIBLE!

Never purchase anything from GiftTree.com nor trust the reviews on their website!

Another scampi online shopping website. I ordered a set of birthday balloons from gift tree.com last Wednesday for my friend's boy's birthday, and even asked for the delivery the day before the actual birthday, just in case anything happened. It supposed to be a next day delivery, and until now, I still haven't heard anything from them! Called them couple times to follow up my order status and no one would give me an answer where the order was! I thought I had done my research well. This gift tree has whole lot of good and excellent reviews on their website. They are FAKE! Don't trust them!

I thought the website was well read and the gift baskets were nice so I placed an order to have it delivered for a birthday gift for my brother, who happened to be out of town for the week. The basket did not arrive at their estimated date and no one called to discuss or anything. My brother's girlfriend just happened to call me to tell me it never arrived. When I called their customer service number, I reached a quite unconcerned representative who told me it was behind schedule by three days. When I expressed my disappointment, she stated "that's why we say it's an "estimated" time of delivery"! Knowing my brother would not be at that address 3 days later and 3 days later was also NOT his birthday, that pissed me even more. I asked her if I would get some type of compensation for this screw up and she had the nerve to tell me that they could re-route the package and I should be happy that they would pay for the re-routing fee. I told her that was the LEAST they should do. To make matters even worse, 3 days later the package hadn't made it to the re-routed address and when I called customer service again to ask why, the next representative told me I should not have been promised a delivery date at the re-routed address because they have no idea when UPS or Fedex will deliver. After researching, this representative returned to the phone and said they had no idea where the package was and asked me to allow her 24-hours to research it and get back to me. She also indicated if 24-hours later, they still couldn't locate it, she would just rush another basket to my brother. Needless to say, 36-hours later I had not heard from anyone! When I called again, the next representative said they still had no idea where the basket was and I was through!
Worst company ever!

DO NOT USE GIFTTREE.COM SERVICES AS THEY LIE ABOUT AVAILABLE NEXT DAY DELIVERY. (And who knows what else).

After a dear friend in the family passed away, I was online searching for a suitable flower arrangement. I am currently working on a ship in Europe and since there was no way to call, I went on the online chat to double check that although it was Saturday afternoon, that the bouquet would make it there on Sunday. I gave the funeral home address and they ASSURED me that it would be there. That the funeral services take a high priority.

I just received an email this afternoon that it never made it and the company will give me a call "at their leisure".

This is pure bull. IF YOU CAN'T GUARANTEE ME THAT IT WOULD BE THERE, TELL ME. DON'T LIE ABOUT IT.

Thank you for ruining my gesture in a time of sorrow.

Let others be aware and use a better florist. One that doesn't lie.

I ordered gifts for my sons school teachers with their name engraving. First off, i had to pay for shipping for each diary separately even though i was shipping them all to my house. I called them about it and they said that's just how it is- each diary will be shipped separately. Looks like gift tree wants to make money from shipping too!

The diaries arrived 2 days after the promised date and we couldnt even give it to the teachers before the school closed. NEVER buying from these guys again.

I received gift baskets of food and wine from this web site - the basket brought indian meal moth larve into my house in which 10 days after delivery I ended up with a terrible infestation of these indian meal moth worms... had to be from the basket this company sent as the infestation point was directly around their basket and there was nothing else new brought into that room in the past 2 weeks, thankfully that gift basket food was kept out of my kitchen so it didnt infest all my other food. When I called the company they denied it could even possibly be from them & the customer service rep only argued with me and accepted absolutely no responsibility... no offers were made to attempt to make up for this disgusting experience! NEVER BUY A FOOD GIFT BASKET FROM GIFTTREE.COM!
