I have no idea if the product ever arrived. It was scheduled for the 22nd of December, but had not arrived as of the 27th. The people I sent it to left town on the 28th, and I received a notification that it was delivered on the 30th, but as the people were out of town, I guess I will never know. Even if it was delivered, it would be spoiled. Customer service initially helped fix the order, but after that they were not helpful and stopped responding when I asked to cancel the order because the people had left town. I have given then several days to take action, and have heard nothing despite repeated attempts to get them to take action. I cannot leave photos for something I have not seen, and proof of purchase would have personal information on it, so I will not provide that either.

Poor service, I found one gift was not delivered on time and asked for help right away, but you asked me to contact UPS for this gift. This is incredible as I booked the gift from you and you should contact UPS for tracking. I wrote many emails expressing my concerns, but end up the gift was not found and missed the Christmas Holiday. You conducted the survey too late, it's about one week late after my request delivery date. The missed gift was for my important customer!

First and foremost, we are sorry that your client received their gift after Christmas. We have not and would never instruct a customer to contact UPS, the amount of time that can take to not receive any further information would be counterproductive and I greatly apologize if that is the impression you were given. In reviewing the conversations, we did initially believe the package had encountered a delay, which is more common in the month of December due to the holiday volume. After the tracking showed no additional movements, we opened a trace with UPS on our end and immediately issued a gift card to cover the cost of replacing the gift. The initial gift may still arrive and if that happens, we will not charge for the duplicates! We greatly apologize again that this package was lost in transit.

Never received my call back or refund I was a return customer but will not be returning
After not receiving an email confirmation after placing an order, speaking directly with GiftTree customer service, it was confirmed the original order was in the system but not processed. GiftTree guaranteed delivery on 12-24-22.
However, today 01-02-2023, I received notice from the gift recipient the delivery was made to the wrong address and only today, did the incorrect recipient hand-deliver the parcel.
And while calling during posted business hours, how is it the customer service telephone number answers the call is received outside business hours?

I do see the replacement was delivered on December 23rd, so the fact that it was left over the weekend at an incorrect location is definitely upsetting and we'd like to resolve this. Our offices were closed on December 26th and January 2nd in observance of the holidays. This is my first time ordering from this site; I ordered 2 baskets, one to be delivered to San Antonio and one to be delivered to Houston on 12/23. I placed order for San Antonio on 12/16, got notification it shipped 12/19 however in checking tracking UPS reported label made but they never received package from shipper. The Houston basket arrived as promised. The San Antonio basket did not make it by Christmas and, in fact, on 12/25 UPS still reported no package received. I did contact customer service and only after that contact was the basket delivered. I expected more.
It's an annual event for me to find the right gifts for my family scattered across the US. I always come back for the best gift baskets. After all of these years, I was angry that you substituted cheaper baskets for the ones I ordered after you accepted my orders in the first place. You should have substituted more expensive baskets at no additional charge. Each year I carefully selects baskets that I think reflect my feelings toward my family and place my order. You violated my trust in Gift Tree and you can e sure that I will search other campanies' products next year. I appreciate that you delivered the three baskets earlier than promised. I also saw the ~$30 credit on my credit card, but think the actual refund should have been closer to $60, since there was about a $20 differential in price. Needless to say I am not a happy camper and am really disappointed in you this year.

Unfortunately, 1 of the 3 bottles of Chardonnay arrived empty with its top off. The other 2 arrived completely intact. The bottles arrived in their individual packets and wrapped well. There was no evidence of leakage on the delivery package.

It could have better, because I paid $9.45 for a delivery date for Dec.23rd. The gift was delivered on Dec. 26th, so paying $9.45 was pointless!
The hamper arrived the day before it was due but it was better as that was the day I originally wanted.
The extra cost for a signature was a bit over the top.
I was charged $40 more than expected. The item was never received by recipient.

This is one of our hand-delivered items that is fulfilled by our local florist partners and so it does carry a $24.95 service charge for delivery, which is not part of our Free Shipping. We had not heard back from you after providing the delivery confirmation details from the florist, but looking at the dates of your contact I will assume it was indeed not located. I was charged $40 more than expected.
Delivery was delayed due to weather conditions. That was disappointing albeit understandable. My expensive shipping was refunded due to shipment delay. That was a good thing.

I have used your service for many years and have almost always been impressed with both the quality and delivery punctuality of your product and service. Sadly I can't say that this time around. Imagine my surprise when I paid extra to have my gift delivered on the 23rd of December and it has been delayed til the 29th with no explanation whatsoever (the 24th or 26th would have been fine). I would expect to be refunded the extra delivery fee in this case. I was also promised a 15% discount on 4 orders I made on the same day after receiving the email offering such. I initially only used the code on the last one and notified the customer service rep of my oversight. I was assured via email that the discount would be applied. Looking at my credit card statement online I see no such credits. I would have liked to have seen some transparency where it was clarified as to why I did not receive the discount and why the delivery is so late. I have received neither. Please be forthcoming regarding these issues.
Guess I wasn't too smart about this. Probably should have done 1 order instead of four so only got 15% off one...stupid but the promo code prompt isn't really obvious. It would be nice if you could adjust this for me but you're probably not obligated

I have been sending gifts for several years since the first I sent received such rave reviews. This is the first time I have ever had an issue. As always, the ease of shopping for the perfect basket, completing info for date of shipping and such was seamless. I was happy to receive an email informing me that the gift basket had been shipped and was expected to arrive on my desired date. When I did not hear from my brother that a package arrived, I checked the tracking. It said the package had been delivered. I contacted my brother who said no package had arrived. He searched high and low, no package. They live in a very rural area and the weather had/has been awful. He assumed that UPS had possibly taken the package to their local PO as they do have a box there as well. No luck. I called Gift Tree but they were closed for the holiday weekend. (Well deserved!) I thought I needed to contact UPS as it was their issue, not Gift Tree's. That did NOT go well. I waited until their offices were open yesterday to "make a claim" as I was instructed. (This can only be done online I was told.) After going through all the hoops, I hit send. "You cannot make a claim. Your name does not match the sender." UGH! I called the easy to find number and spoke with a very kind lady this morning at Gift Tree. She explained that they indeed need to file a claim for "Lost package". She was very apologetic and caring. She explained what will happen now and my options. Refund, credit or attempt to "resend". The basket I chose is out of stock (no surprise because it is awesome) and we may have to wait or choose something different. What she said next made me decide to go for the "resend" option! She said they would use FedEx next time. (FedEx takes a picture of packages left hence, "proof of delivery" is PROOF!) I mean no ill towards UPS but this is not the first time I have had issues with them. Sorry to ramble. The Gift Tree company is wonderful! High quality products in ALL of their gifts. Great service and apparently, even when things go wrong. My only wish is that we can choose which company for delivery. Hoping we can get this issue resolved and my brother and his family will be able to enjoy all the goodies in a late but better late than never basket.
