I have tried to reach out to the GH Bass customer service for two weeks via email & 1.800 number and have not received an acknowledgement of any sort.

When I like something - I like it. G. H. Bass Canvas pants and several of their shirts and fleeces are among my favorites BUT the company is Doomed. They are taking SEARS and just copying their play book, riding all the way down the rabbit hole. Only a matter of time.
When your Customers Reward you with their $$ - You Do NOT show your gratitude by getting their order to them in 3 WEEKS when it was "In Stock". You are Begging to go out of business. Then the Customer makes several attempts to call and complain giving you the opportunity to make a positive out of a negative and you double down?
Why not just shutter your operation now and save all the drama? Tone deafness is no way to treat customers. WTH is wrong with G. H. Bass?
FIX your Company before it is too late. SEARS is Gone, ever heard of ZAPPOS or JET or CHEWY? They "Get it" You Do Not.

Bought a blouse at tanger outlet Bass in Deer Park NY. After following wash instructions the blouse shrank. Brought back to store compared it to same size blouse in store and proved it shrank. Manager said they could do nothing for me because the item was washed. So basically if I never washed the blouse it would be fine. Totally absurd! She wasn't even nice, so even though I've shopped at Bass many years they lost a customer. I even called customer service and they did not help.
They must use the cheapest Fed Ex out there. I ordered on a Wed. And will not receive for 2 weeks even though it has shipped and it was in stock. Never again. Very poor cust service agent. Just said so sorry. A trip from GA to Florida should not take 2 weeks with Fed EX
Trying to show a badly constructed shoe that I loved but to no avail. //Lousy way to do business. Having seen other sites operate ethically. This one does not have any business acumen!
Do NOT buy directly from GH Bass! If you need to make a return, they will not help you in any way possible! I have dealt many online companies and have never been treated this poorly. Do not believe them when they say they will call you back.
Validating the other comments about poor customer service, lack of response and long delays in receiving refunds. I have been waiting over 2 moths for a refund. A partial refund was made with no explanation. I will never purchase directly from G. H. Bass again.
I ordered a pair of shoes and a pair of all weather boots. Boots were great but by time they arrived, the exact boots were now $10 cheaper for Black Friday. Shoes that I waited for, arrived in size 10 1/2 when the order form states 7 1/2.
I now have to repackage, drive to Post Office and send back while they charge me $6 for the privlege of returning the wrong pair of shoes they sent me.
I went on line and ordered a pair of shoes that I liked almost as much from Naturalizer.
Just as everyone has already mentioned, the customer service and refund process is terrible with this company. I only wish I had read these reviews before my purchase/return. I still haven't received a credit to my charge card a month after the return. I guess I have to contact the BBB. DO NOT BUY from these people!
I made an online order return on 9/18 which was received by their agent on 9/19. I was later told that it did not get to their warehouse until 10/1 which is horrendous in itself. Today at 10/25 still no credit. Have contacted them on 3 occasions and still nothing. I sent them an I am upset message on Monday through Messanger. They replied almost immediately they wanted to resolve my problem, asked for more info which I gave within an hour and guess what despite me following up with a what have you found... crickets. Never again and next will be a credit card charge back. Terrible.
It seemed simple enough. Place an order and pay extra for expedited two day shipping. I did my part. However, the order did not arrive in two days and when I inquired, I found out it hasn't even shipped yet! They did manage to bill my credit card. This is bordering on fraud. This is a gift that I need NOW. That is why I paid for the extra fast shipping. How is this company still in business? It certainly isn't because of their online sales. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, NEVER!
I purchased a pair of men's shoes that I purchased from the G. H. Bass's website, within one day after receiving them, I sent them back via USPS (the shoes were too heavy and clunky and not as described). They received my return on 8/24/2017 and stated that it would take business days to process the refund back to my credit card minus $6.00 for the shipping costs of the return (but yet they charged me $5.00 to originally ship their shoes to me). Today is 9/11/2017, well past the ten business days and I still haven't received my refund on my credit card, their customer service stated that I would have the credit refund by 9/8/2017. I contacted them and nothing, their customer service is completely useless. Buyer's beware, DO NOT buy from them online! They are lousy company to do business with.
I ordered two pairs of sandals. Received one pair and turned out that they sent me 2 right sandals of different sizes! Emailed them three times. Calling customer service resulted in waiting over 15 minutes on hold. Finally after not hearing back for 2 weeks, I returned the 2 right shoes using the included return label. By this point, I still had not received the second pair. I finally received the second pair and those were correct. Still no replacements for the ones that I returned. After a month passed, I used Live Chat to find out where my replacements were. They had received my return over a month ago and she said that a refund had not been issued. I had wanted replacements for the sandals but she indicated that they could not issue replacements. I needed to place a new order. I asked why it had taken so long to refund my money and she gave me some excuse of switching warehouses. I told her I was not going to place another order. All I got out of it was 'I'm sorry'. She made no effort to keep me as a customer. I shopped at Bass as a kid (a long time ago) but I will not shop there again. Very disappointed in their customer service. They obviously don't value their customers.
I placed an order online for a few shirts and shoes that ended up not fitting. I wanted to return them for a better size but didn't realize the headache I was about to get into...
I reached out to their support team on 4/13 since there was no return label or address included in the shipment (like they said there would be). I was then told that a return label was "on it's way" since I can't return them to a store. It is now May 23rd and I've spoke with 5 different customer service reps who all confirm that one is on it's way and they've escalated the request... Still don't have one.
Was finally able to speak with a so called "supervisor" who couldn't do anything but confirm that one is on it's way. He wouldn't give me a direct line or access to a follow up (since this has fallen through multiple times) but was told to just call back again if it doesn't arrive! With their hold times it could be 5 minutes, it could be 30 of sitting on hold to static music cutting in and out. Now we're approaching their "60 day return policy" which should be called "60 days of lies and sitting on hold"
I've been told that my return will be honored and refunded but with this level of support I have zero faith.
STAY AWAY FROM THEIR ONLINE STORE
I placed an order for 2 pairs of shoes on April 16th with 2 day shipping. One pair of the shoes FINALLY shipped on 4/21 and was shipped regular shipping. They were not received until April 28th. The second paid of shoes still has not been shipped. I have called multiple times and get different stories each time. I was charged for the second pair of shoes on Monday May 1st and the shoes still have not shipped as of today May 4th. I called and spoke to a "Customer Service Rep" (an very undeserving title) who stated that she did not have any updates for me on the order and was not sure why the shoes had not shipped. I told her that I wanted to speak to a Supervisor and was told that no one was there that I could speak to. I requested the order be cancelled and I be refunded and she told me that she did not have the ability to do that. This company is the absolute worst and will NEVER get my business again.
I order shoes on 4/14/17 and I was told I would get them in a week or so. Over two weeks later they do not know where my order is and then they said they could not refund my order. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they said they don't work early in the day this was 8:30 EDT. Please to save yourself aggravation do not order from this rip off company.
Gh bass trick you to pay ~$40 for each shoes by showing $100+ shoe by deep discount. Its not the worth shoe if you pay more than $10 bucks.
Very low quality shoes and return policy in store is ridiculous. If you are paying in double digit pass it.
I have ordered two times from GH Bass - 1) First time was express two day shipping, which turned out to be 8-days, I asked for and received a refund for my payment for 2-day shipping; 2) Second experience using standard shipping took 16-days to receive my item. All being shipped to a major city in US. They have reasonable products, but mail order shipping experience is awful!
I shop at several outlet stores and the whole staff at the Locust Grove Bass outlet in GA is awesome, it is obvious the management team runs a fun but tight ship!
I purchased several items on Cyber Monday, my order was not processed until Friday. Here it is 12 days later and I still don't have my order and I only live a few states away, I can't even get an update on tracking! If there is an issue with size or quality on my gifts I have to start over and pick from what's left at my local stores! My point, do not purchase from G. H. Bass on line for Christmas, you will be horribly disappointed and inconvenienced! What a BIG mistake! What horrible management! Didn't need this stress during the holidays!
