Ordered flex paste, did not here back, called company was told on backorder. Was told it would be in stock by the end of week. It wasn't, so I canceled the order because we would be across the country. Next day received email saying they would keep trying to fill the order. Called again and made it very clear the order needed to be canceled, was told it would be. One month later received email saying it was shipped. Tried calling company to say no one is there to get it, was on hold 30 minuets twice. What a rip off. Worse company I ever had to deal with. Never again.
I have bought several different versions of this product and none of them have worked! Same on me for trying it after the first project did not work! Save your money, resist buying
Don't order the flex seal paste because they'll take your money but good luck getting the product. I'm so anger by this I have like all the products I have tried but never will I buy a flex seal product again. I don't support crooks! It's been about a month and just get the run around.
I have been waiting for almost 1 month and have called several times. The last time they told me it was going to be shipped within 2 days, and they would text me. No it wasn't and no they didn't text me so I called them. They told me that they had no information this time so I tried to cancel the $100.00 order. They told me to call back tomorrow. So I called the credit card and refused to pay it.
I love the this $#*!, I put it on everything! I did ceilings, floors hell I even did body work on my car with it. I got 10 buckets on reserve, for the summer I'm making a roof for my shed.
Tried spray on interior of a decorative wood bowl to use as a planter for hens & chicks. I waited 3-4 days to be sure of thorough dry time, prior to adding soil and plants. Within 1-2 weeks dirt, plants were covered in mildew (whitish/grey fuzzy powdery). Because the plants are succulents I didnt water much at all, yet mildew covered soil & plants, and plants were turning black and dying. Had to throw out plants and soil. Photos show mildew on bowl.
Later we decided to try a small can of liquid rubber before spending $90 for a gallon. Planned to use it for waterproofing a plywood roof for a doghouse. I even called Flex Seal company to verify use and was assured it would work and would not mildew. I never got a chance to see if it would mildew like spray, but did try it on a scrap piece of plywood. Over 48 hours later, (recommended cure time), I tested with finger and then fingernail. The thinner area rolled right off wood and fingernail easily scratched thicker area off.
Not sure what others might use these products for, but I would highly recommend testing first. Both products were a waist of money for both projects. Hope this helps anyone thinking of using for similar projects.
Baoght a roll of flex tape for roof leak which they showed outing on wet roof, does not stick at all.
Got a tube of flex glue which they say has instant grab, left it for 48 hrs. And it still didn't hold
I purchased 2 cans and used only one. It didn't seal, it attached to the metal. My room leaked a lot. Need to remove insulation, and the board for the celling. Of course with all the water that came into my sewing room. Can number DOT 2P M5702 code ******* *******. Thanks for making me spend money on your product that didn't work.
The tape is hard to handle, but worked for holding up ceiling tile from leak in the roof until it can be repaired. The Flex Seal liquid was a little hard to spread evenly, but to my amazement stopped the leak in the attic from the roof. I would definitely recommend it.
I got a roll of flexseal so I could fix the small holes in my pool I emptied it out and waited for the pool to dry before applying the tape and this morning u started to fill the pool and the places I patched still leaked hell the gorilla tape worked better this flexseal!
Tried Flex seal tape, liquid and sealant on swimming pool. None of them work. Liquid peeled offf inside pool. Tape never stuck.
I have tried 3 times to fix a leak in my pool with flex seal tape. Each time it continues to leak and the tape eventually comes up. It does not work under water.
I spent a month in the burn hospital after a can of Flex Seal exploded while I sprayed it. Do not use the stuff it's dangerous!
How can you cut a boat in half, and tape it together, and not leak? I tried all three of the flex seal products to patch a small leak in a pool filter, and neither of the three products helped to stop the small leak. This is false advertising.
I have a leak in a plastic pool float and tried the spray and gel Flex Seal to fix and neither product worked. In fact, they left a sticky goo on the float. It's my wife's favorite and I thought, based on the TV ads, Flex Seal would work. IT DID NOT! Those two products were not cheap. Probably could have purchased another float for what I spent on Flex Seal. What a waste.
Spent $20.00 at Canadian tire to repair an outdoor fountain, 2ft by 8in by 10in, water reservoir. Sprayed as directed, let dry as instructed, sprayed several coats as recommended, used a whole can spraying inside and out, did not even slow the leak down, cannot believe it would work on a boat if it can not hold 2 gals of water, what a joke and a waste of money. I will be sure to let everyone I know how poor this product is, will never purchase this product again.
I bought a can to seal the bottom of a plastic tray. Instead of sealing the leak it ate a hole through it.
FLEX SEAL JORDANIAN BASED SUPPORTING INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM WITH AMERICAN $$$.
DO NOT BUT THESE PRODUCTS.
REPOST AND REPOST
Now ask yourself- do any of the products actually fit any scenario you would be subjected to?
They use elaborate scheming scenarios the common user would never be subjected to like the latest 'giant' of an idiot sealing a leaking water tower- because it is so extreme and unbelievable as to make one believe would work in smaller instances- all lies and bull$#*!.
Read the reviews before buying and consider where the money goes supporting terrorism on a global scale.
I was shipped and charged for an order that I never made. I left the website when the cart would not let me remove an item no matter how many times I tried and they actually still sent it even though I NEVER submitted the order. This is a scam.
I bought 7 cans $13.00 each sprayed different time coats my enclosed porch STILL leaks! Dma
Answer: I would highly recommend NOT using anywhere around moisture. I experienced mildew growing on product.
Answer: No. Recommend you use eternabond sealant and then eternabond tape and skip this garbage.
