European buyers beware of these China "warehouse" companies, especially when a product turns out to be faulty: https://news.escoot.ie/when-eu-warehouse-scam-knocks-you-down/

Had the misfortune of ordering from Geekbuying. Product that became faulty after 6 months and Geekbuying did everything in their power to weasel out of responsibility, including:
- Stating that the fault was not covered by their "guarantee"
- Offering a measly 50 Euro towards a repair
- Insisting I ship the product back to their China warehouse at my own expense
- Insisting I had to ship to their Hong Kong warehouse at my own expense when Chinese customs rejected the item

Eventually got 70% refund after 8 months and 80+ messages back and fourth with Geekbuying "support".

I purchased an e-bike from them that was defective. It took a while, but with the help of PayPal I was able to get a refund. However a) it cost me 130 euros to ship the bike back and b) i posted a 1 star review about the bike (a Fiido D11) a month ago which has not yet appeared on their website. I tried to go back and post another review, but the site tells me I have already commented and cannot comment again. So, they are just not posting my 1 star review. So, beware of this bike and the honesty of their reviews...

Scammers
March 23, 2021

Geekbuying.com are a scam company. I bought a treadmill for almost €400. It is faulty, they have kept me waiting for weeks, are ignoring my emails and now I am a lot of money down with a massive faulty item in my house. AVOID, AVOID AVOID. It appears they sell faulty products and do not give refunds. Devastated. Any advice from people in a similar situation on how to get my money back?

Finger weg. Natürlich abraten. Diese Firma ist größer Betrüger in meinem Leben gesehen. Die Waren werden aus Deutschland versendet aber im Garantiefall muss man nach China versenden, um die reparieren zu lassen. Darüber hinaus übernimmt man alle Versandkosten und Zollsteuer selbst. Das beträgt ca. 30-40% vom Verkaufspreis. Stattdessen hätte ich beim lokalen vertrauenswürdigen Händler in EU gekauft...

Roborock hat bestätigt, dass die Batterie nach ca 6 Monaten kaputt gegangen worden war.
Ich habe einen lokaler Reparatur gefunden. Der hat mir zum Reparatur all in 150,-€ vorgeschlagen. Geekbuying hat mir aber nur 40€ angeboten. Das ist sehr witzig. Wenn ich diese Ware nach China versenden würde, kostet aber 120€. Entweder muss ich selbst 120€ zum Versand nach China ertragen oder 40€ Schweigegeld.
Welches Gerät wird gegen 40€ im DACH-Gebiet repariert? Tod ausgelacht!

Nie wieder geekbuying in allen Sprachen. Außerdem ist die Kundenservice für After Sale die Katastrophe. Für jede Anfrage nimmt 5 Tage die Zeit zurück zu melden.

Noch schlimmer beantwortet die After Sale beschissenes Englisch mit Google Translate!

Noch mal Finger Weg. Die Warekosten ist nicht das Entscheidungskriterium zum Einkauf. Im Garantiefall kriegt man grau Haare, wenn man dafür 450€ gezahlt hatte...

Very bad customer service
February 12, 2021

As I received my long wished walkingpad R1 Pro, I was thrilled, which continued for about 8 days. Then suddenly I hear a load nice, and the walkingpad stopped working instantly!
It was devastating but not the real drama. This came after this with the service of geekbying.
On the same day of the (of the sudden breakdown) I wrote to the customer-service of geekbying. While I got fast replies (24h), I was then waiting to send a new walkingpad R1 Pro. One month later I got a visibly defect piece of electronic, no instruction to it, no information about the warranty after the manual repair and I even had to guess, that this belongs to the walkingpad R1 Pro and is coming form geekbying!
Me - directly documenting everything with photos and writing a straightforward e-mail about this all.
I have not been answered my questions, which is already another 8 weeks since.
So my sum-up is:
Lovely walking experience when the product is working and an entirely unhelpful customer-service overall!

Fraudulent Chinese company - DO NOT PRUCHASE
January 23, 2021

This is a Chinese company in Shenzen masquerading as a HK company.

I bought a Roombe irobot i7+ that was dysfunctional. The Chinese units are not capable of connecting to the internet in Australia and this is not declared.

After a few months the unit also completely stopped working and they refused to refund the entire purchase price. They also make you pay for the return shipping.

This company is fraudulent and breaching Australian consumer law. I am reporting them to the ACCC.

DO NOT PURCHASE HERE.

Scammers and liars

Scammers and liars! They take your money upfront and do not delivery the service which you paid for! Their costumer service is useless and they only tell you what you want to hear but in reality they just do not care! Worst online webshop ever!

The say lies about shipment methods. They charge you for dhl express and they use deutsche post!
The told me that I will have my order in 1 to 5 days and now is 20 days from my order and I have received nothing.

Rubbish company

Rubbish company ordered two scooters, got one delivered, that's when issues started out of stock for the second one, was told the next week, that week arrived nothing, told a week later, still nothing, now have been told another week. So no contacting my bank and paypal to get my money back. Awful company to deal with lies after lies. Will also be contacting trading standard's regarding this fiasco.

Couldn't Be Happier

Wanted to buy another jjrcx11p drone because my daredevil ways finally got the best of the first one. But that is one tough drone. Ordered the first one thru Y5Daddy. Took over a month to get to me, was the wrong drone, (but of equal value) and no carry case. They said they would send and didn't but still with some of the scary stories of Chinese websites I thought I came out pretty good. Now I needed another one and back to scary reviews. Crossed my fingers and picked geekbuying. Ordered it at the best price I'd seen on Wednesday and the next Wednesday it was delivered to my front porch. I was shocked. It was in excellent condition and everything was in there. I'd give 10 stars if I could. All that worrying for nothing.

Absolute nightmare dealing with Geekbuying with a faulty laptop.

Order a laptop from them in February. Couple of months later the laptop display started to become corrupted.

Contacted Geekbuying support who claimed a faulty motherboard was not covered by their "warranty".

Offered €50 towards me getting it repaired myself, which is laughable for repair of a motherboard.

After quoting consumer law to them, they then insisted I had to ship the laptop to China at my own expense, even though it was originally sent from one of their European warehouses

I sent the laptop back to them and can see from An Post and China Post that the item is waiting for them to contact customs, but Geekbuying are claiming customs don't have the item.

Avoid these guys at all costs, terrible to deal with when things go wrong. Their tactic seems to delay delay delay until their "guarantee" expires after 1 year from when the goods were received.

Cheap & reliable
October 31, 2020

Bought an electric scooter, cheaper than anywhere in Europe. Unfortunately, was too heavy for me, so I made an service ticket, talked with the support, send the scooter back to Poland and got my money back. Smooth, no obstacles. You have to buy a extra option of returning the item within Europe, insurance is also recommended.

The worst online shopping experience ever!
I bought Robotic Vacuum Cleaner iiutec (R-Cruiser). It stopped working during the first year, while still on warranty. I contacted Geekbuying and they advised me to ship the vacuum cleaner to them for repairs. I paid $56 postage from Australia. Had to remind them I exist a couple of times. Then, 6 weeks after, they wrote that I have to pay additional $24 for Customs clearance. This would be $80 out of pocket for the faulty product still on warranty! Another 2 weeks of correspondence and, surprise-surprise, they write that the warranty period has ended.
Bad product, poor customer handling, fishy company.

I bought a walking pad that did not work from the very beginning. I immediately opened a ticket and asked for technical support and a solution. It took them two weeks to tell me to switch on and off the machine as if this could solve the problem. I told them that of course it still does not work and asked for a refund. They have not answered since. If they ask me to send the walkind pad back, that would cost me more than the money I spent for buying it since it weighs more than 25 kilos. What is more, they did not publish my negative review for the pad. So be very careful with them.

I don't normally write reviews but this one was too much. geekbuying.com sent me a defective item. I wrote them to let them know it was defective and included pictures and video. Although their return policy indicates that the consumer will only pay for shipping if the return was their fault, they were unwilling to provide the full refund for the defective item until i returned the item to china (which cost more than the item itself). I finally needed to file a fraud dispute with my credit card company so that I could get a refund for the defective item.

AVOID AT ALL COST

I HAVE PURCHASED FIIDO D2S FROM THEM. FROM THE BEGINNING THE BIKE HAD ISSUES WITH BREAKS AND IN LESS THAN A YEAR THE FRAME OF THIS BIKE COMPLETELY SNAPPED. THIS BIKE IS A DEATH TRAP. THEY DON'T RESPOND TO MY EMAILS AND TOTALLY IGNORE ME WHEN I TRY TO TALK TO THEM ON A LIVE CHAT. AS SOON AS I GIVE THEM THE ORDER NUMBER THEY DISAPPEAR. FOR THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THEM ZERO STARTS IF I COULD. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS SCAM WEBSITE. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!
