Don't use Geek Buddy. TRY PCProsNow.Com they're based out of Florida and have all US techs.
I would go to pcprosnow.com. That's who I use.
Geekbudy is a spyware program that hacks into your personal information and accesses other applications on your computer. It had accessed my chat camera multiple times, but it was unsuccessful in recording anything because I keep the camera itself covered with a sticker when I'm not using it. It also accessed many other applications and files on my computer. In the end, I had to take my laptop to someone to remove everthing it put on my laptop, and unfortunately my laptop had to be COMPLETELY wiped in order to regain access to my files. DO NOT DOWNLOAD GEEKBUDY!
Title pretty much says it all. And you can't uninstall it because when you go to computer settings and "uninstall program", you get a pop up saying the program is not at that location and can't be uninstalled. If you call the customer support number, there is simply denial of this issue and a customer service representative making an advertising pitch for Geekbuddy. Ignore five star reviews on this site, as these are generated by robot.
I tried downloading a PC version of Summoners War to my laptop -I'm lame and I know it- the fake download also downloaded "game loader" "geek buddy" and like two other obvious viruses
So... so rude... I hate the guy whom I spoke with just now. He is evil... Don't deal with these people. They don't have compassion and bad customer service. He does not want to help me telling me that he is not a teacher and that he does not work for customer service. He is a technician. Dud?! You are still in customer service. Bad practice... so so bad...
I am a tax practitioner and run my own firm, with about half a dozen people working for me. We have about 10 computers installed in the office. Obviously we have had trouble time and again with one machine or the other and we have always had to send for those "trouble shooter guys" who'd appear with a grin and seek to put an end to your worries. But our worries always seemed to go on increasing. It was recently that one of my employees suggested trying out GeekBuddy. I should say that we are now in a much better position than before. We do have worries, but they have decreased in numbers and as regards gravity too. They are prompt and always available, at the click of a mouse or just a dial away. And the pricing part also seems OK for me.
I was happy with Comodo, everything seemed really good. I wasn't sure about the GeekBuddy support but at the same time figured that support is handy if that's what it is. I had a problem with my browser the first 'tech' vanished after I explained my problem, the second Geekbuddy guy also rapidly exited the coversation the third Geek spent roughly 20 mins AAAh remotely addressing my issue he then mumbled that I need Tech support and vanished leaving me with a dead computer as in nothing and I mean nothing worked. My desk top is now smashed up and awaiting recycling. So yet again sorry to be boring why is an apparently reputable company such as Comodo merging itself with these Geek ****holes?. All over the net people seem to asking should I keep GeekBuddy? Or should I disinstall it?. Don't worry they'll decide for you.
Was having the Geek Buddy pop up on my computer, never bought it or installed it. Called to have it removed as it didn't show in uninstall programs. First tech Hannah, told me it came with Adobe, ok I usually watch for add ons but might have missed it. Asked how to remove it, hang up. Called back got someone who I could hardly understand, lots of noise in the background, like the call center is a can. He hung up. Called again got Randy, had me restart the computer, remoted in, saw what I was talking about and hung up. Called back got Justin, he told me to reinstall the trial and then it should show up to delete, he then hung up.

Earlier I posted some negative comments about GeekBuddy. I have since realized that I had misunderstood the complete installation process for Comodo. I do apologize to GeekBuddy and also to readers of my post. Since installing Comodo and receiving assistance from GeekBuddy I have found their service to be quite satisfying.
A while back before I fully understood how Comodo works, I was trying to allow a program through the Firewall. Something I couldn't do at the time, as stupid as that sounds. Anyway, I asked a Geekbuddy person to help me with my problem, he asks to take remote control of my computer. I let him do so, and then he turns off every protective setting on Comodo and disconnects without a word. I got a virus that same day.
Started getting lots of pop ups about PC issues from Comodo geek buddy. Went to live chat and asked how come the comodo already installed was telling me I was secure so why all those alarming pop ups. Within 3 chat questions he looses patience with me and tells me that "i dont get the point", that comodo fixes malware but geekbuddy wants to (me pay for) fix my "performance" issues and then the SOB unilaterally dissconnects me from chat. No way to build a business. So long comodo
Unable to uninstall Comodo Firewall in Windows 10. Geek buddy wants me to sign up for a $89 a year contract before they help. Feel really let down by Comodo and GeekBuddy.

I have Comodo on 3 computers. A machine that was Windows 7, one that was Windows 8 and one that was Windows 8.1. No problem at all with Comodo. All machines have been updated to Windows 10. The windows 7 machine is now having issues with Comodo. I get a "GeekBuddy" on the line and allow him to remote access my computer. He proceeds to open Event Viewer, then "Administrative Events" and tells me that because of all the Warning and Error in the Administrative Events log that I need to spend a few hundred dollars to have them fix it... the ADMINISTRATIVE EVENTS LOG! Not even the System log, Not the Application log, Not even the Security Log... the freaking Admin log, with things that have nothing to do with the systems operations. OH, warning, XYZ program can't read the CDROM... because it's empty, Comodo wants you to shell out tons of money for them to fix things that are not broken. When I pressed to have him repair the software I requested, he refuses, telling me that if I don't fix all these errors in the Admin log my machine will "meet a terminal fate" F'n Jokers.
THIS STUPID THING COST ME 4 LENOVOS AND 3 LENOVO ERAZERS, DONT TRUST YOUR $#*! BUDDY! P.S. The people with 5 stars are only robots trying to get you hacked.
Also, I need to tell everybody that I am a young YouTube person, I have so far gotten 2665 reviews sightings on THIS so can you see my videos please? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDKZNLTEktw
They asked if I needed help, I was honest upfront to safe them time that I am on disability and can not afford to purchase but if they are offering free one time fix fine. 1st guy said no problem let me have you talk to 2nd guy. So this guy asked when computer started to have issues and I said today when Firefox booted up and then there site and I would like to have it taken off. He said do you mind approving me linking in to your computer. I was concerned so I did see on line company was real but I should have read reviews first. So he comes back said yes you have problems and for $$$$ we can help. I was like hello I told you guys I don't have $$. So here I let him look into my computer and he wasted his time and mine. Now making my faith in people less than before. So please be wear. I think they might be in with fire fox. I am just very disappointed, oh yeah told him I was going to do this review so he went in to my computer once more and did some crazy stuff, so I am spending hours trying to clean up.
Do not use this company. I was coerced into buying a 3 year plan instead of the one year. Low and behold, I was charged for both. After they "worked" on my computer, it ran the same as before. I have tried to cancel as I was told I had 30 days to cancel. They keep putting up obstacles to giving me the refund. I just received my SECOND email telling they want feedback as to why I am canceling before they will give me a refund. I already answered the first one. Oh, also I just found out that someone tried to use one of my online accounts to buy something. Really strange that this happened after I allowed remote access to my computer. Yes, I am really stupid and naïve. Please don't get suckered in like I did. I should have looked at the complaints before I did this.
Paid good money for one year service, had them install comodo, it disappeared. Called them back, right now 3rd geek on the job. The earlier one disappeared without a word. Never get involved with them, waste of money and terrible frustration.
I just called them for basic pricing information and was immediately asked for a ton of private information-- name?, state I reside in? What type of system I'm using? Email address?-- WTF?--- I could not get them to answer a basic question like-- what are your charges for virtual services-- I was then told by the phone rep that I needed to be placed on hold so she could see what my "specific" fees would be for my "issues"--- the only problem is that I NEVER told her what my issues were---- after 15 minutes of this game, I hung up.
I read the other reviews--- I'm outta here.
Geek Buddy used to be excellent but now, the first thing they try and do is sell you another product, if you say you don't need it and are already covered, you then get dead responses from the Geek buddy technician.
Its horrendous, and even thought I find Comodo to be a great product, I will NOT be renewing even though I have been with them for over four years.
Answer: Wow! These reviews are great help! Fuck geek buddy
Answer: Hi Tyrone, Matt here, not sure about their phone number. Try googling 'geek buddy customer support phone number', would be my option. From first hand experience, don't use these guys. Like all these people who have commented on geek buddy, I wouldn't recommend these guys. They will give you a lot off pop ups saying your pc isn't protected, etc. I tried these guys fittest hand. If you let them remote access your pc, they will give you either popups about your computer not being protected or give you a blue screen of death. So please do not ring these people, otherwise have your pc infected with their software or get a Blue screen.
Answer: No Diana, I wouldn't trust these guys at all. Have you seen all these reviews with geek buddy? My recommendation is to uninstall geek buddy but if you have Comodo security premium 10 on your computer it should be fine. Though the upgrade, I've had on my laptop, I've had an issue with diagnostic scanning every time my laptop starts up. So it will be your choice either to have geek buddy on your laptop or not. As for me, I wouldn't recommend geek buddy to anyone. They could give you viruses or a blue screen of death
