I'm happy with the products that was purchased here. Processing and shipping is not the fastest, usually slightly over 1 month to oceania. But the packaging is good. Price is usually pretty good. I found the customer is acceptable compare to other Chinese sellers.

Gearbest is located in China which is not mentioned anywhere in their website or refund policy. They just state you must pay shipping to get a refund. The cost of shipping would have been more than the refund. Gearbest has resolved my issue very generously. They have fully refunded me while not requiring me to send the product back to China. Thank you very much!
Read on to hear initial complaint. Gearbest gave insufficient information on their website leading me to buy a product I can't use. To return for refund I must ship it to China at my expense. Furthermore gearbest is known for putting up false reviews on these kind of sites.

I tried to buy a cell phone using gearbest.com and paid by wire transfer. Asked for instructions and they were given. I even paid in $US even though my bank charged me with extra fees. Since I have to get the phone as soon as possible, I also paid more to have the item shipped and received as soon as possible.
Nevertheless, they took 13 DAYS to confirm my payment with their bank and told me I would have to pay extra $20 to have the cell phone. I have been talking to their service by mail every single day. I'm tired of this. I asked how long would it take me to finally get the phone and they didn't answer. Instead, when I asked for a refund, they told me they would charge me $20. This constant need for extra $20, along with the unacceptable delay in confirming my payment (always asking for 2 more days, for 13 days long) makes me seriously doubt of this site's honesty and safety.
Now, I don't have neither my money, nor the phone I bought, and even though I am waiting for an item for 17 days now (that was supposed to arrive 5 days after my purchase) and losing job opportunities because my phone isn't operational yet, I am told I still owe them money! Outrageous! Please, don't buy with them, for your own safety!

I ordered for the first time in the January 13,2016. Sending came for 13 days, it is the fast delivery from China! I am glad the speed of delivery and the fact that the parcel brought home or to work, although the delivery was free! Money is returned immediately, if I want to cancel the order. I would like to Gearbest better pack their parcels more soft film. Otherwise, everything is fine!

Item never arrived

Ordered two hover boards on 3rd may, now 15th June and they still not here. Promised refund, but not given any and now not replying to my emails! I have two very upset children now and a big lump of money wasted. I can't believe they won't even take time to respond!
20th June- they have now refunded in full. Thank you.

The combination of services they provide from the flash sales and low prices, combined with their fast free delivery (I paid for a delivery from another similar website with DHL and it actually took a day longer than GearBest as the other site did not ship it immediatly) makes this site one of my most reliable and trusted online purchasing sites. The best aspect is the online help ticket system (most other sites use emails which they take a long time to respond to) and live chat which is always online (again, unlike many other similar sites which the 'live chat' just links to an email page) menas the one problem I had from around 15 group purchases I have done was resolved in a couple of days, and I was always updated of what is going on. If you want to buy any items from china I would make this site your first choice as I have.

I am a gadget lover and love to experiment various gadgets. Gearbest is only place for all gadgets and get everything of best quality.
Gearbest gives the tough competitive pricing when compared to any other websites. I hail form India and the same gadgets are a little over priced when compared to Gearbest.
If you have patience to wait for 20-30 days for getting goods delivered its always better to buy it on Gearbest. I have never missed any of my packages from Gearbest.
Best part is Gearbest provides a photo of the package when they submit it to the shipping company. I bought almost 10 + orders from Gearbest and all my goods delivered with in 30 days.
Gearbest provides reward points for every action you do with your order. These points gives more option for discount while purchasing. User reviews with photos and videos boosts the confidence of the buyer, because buyer can confidently buy as its already tried by some one.

Overall superb site for gadget lovers at best price.

Hello,

I placed an order for a smartphone on 25 April 2016 and today 14 of June 2016 there is still no information of the package.

It is loast and nobody cares about it.

I asked GearBest to contact Belgium postal service to check where the package got stucked but from GearBest i was told a few time to stay calm and wait.

No support.

I bought Alfawise H96 Pro+ TV Box from Gearbest on Aug 05,2017 21:59:53 PM. I received my order after two month. From start Wifi connection to the box had issue and I could not use wifi on this box. I was happy at least to use wired internet connection but since last two weeks exactly on every 30 minutes box disconnects from internet. Looks like there is a factory setup to disconnect the internet.
I only reset the box to factory setup but still box showing the same behaviour. All Gearbox offered me is either I should pay 45 USD for new box or accept 25 USD as refund. Looks like this is my fault to loose 45 USD on Faulty box.

I ordered a back pack from these people well over two months ago. Tried to e-mail them as to where the product was since I have not received it. Only got generic response. Now put in a claim thru paypal. If gear best does't redo; ve this I should get my money returned. Thank you paypal

I would like to share my opinion about GearBest,
This is not intended to change your opinion in any sense, it is as just any review out there.

What I notice, and I like, is that GearBest reply on every complain and intent to solve the problem. If there is a problem, they want communication. That is good, according to me, as I can't imagine reactions if the reply was silence. Then I would say it is something wrong. I always remember, every issue has two sides. And I don't believe it is always Gearbest fault, and I see they reply on every comment.

Other thing is that we live in a free market, and the prices vary. It is also normal a product price to get lower and lower, as new product line arrive etc. If I buy something on some price I agree that I want it on that price. If the price get down, then who shall I get angry at? Gearbest. I would say the global market! Also I got that product first compared with the lowered price. I don't like what if, like what if I bought it 2 months later, it is not real. Otherwise we get to what if this, what if that, what if... am I going to be ever happy of anything with this attitude?

Also sometimes, some devices come broken. One reason is the package, which is rare, but sometimes it is something connected with the design of the device, battery life or something else, which shows that the main cause of the problem is the manufacturer. Let's be realistic, is it GearBest fault, that manufacturer made it this way, with this battery life with this specific things we don't like? Is it going to come better from anywhere else?

I'm generally happy with their service. I like the quality of their products. I like the different warehouse items, even if they are in different prices. I like they reply on every complain. I don't mind saying my opinion, as everyone here don't mind saying their own experiences.

I wish you problem-free deals with your favorite sellers!

I had a problem with a package.
It didn't arrived at the destination.
I talked with gearbest.com, and they said they will send it again and they will rebate the difference from the moment when i first bought the phone and the moment they send me the phone again (over 70$)
I had to wait almost 3 months but in the end everything was alright.

In the past I've ordered a few low value items from GearBest without much of a problem. However I recently ordered a £160 tablet which was faulty on arrival. The best Gearbest could offer is a $49 partial refund (In GearBest points), or I could return the item for a refund. Given it was going to cost nearly half the value of the tablet to return it to China it simply wasn't worth it so I have written the money off.

I am disappointed that this is the best GearBest can offer, my advice is treat ordering from GearBest like gambling... only spend what you can comfortably afford to lose...

Partial refund
June 9, 2016

After fighting with this company for a month I filled out a review on here. I was given a partial refund of $40 out of the original 136 order. The company had the nerve to ask me to upgrade my review on here. They also keep giving me a story about how they checked with PayPal on my money. I don't think it was ever sent.

It was the first time that I bought something from a chinese website and I was a little sceptical. The item I was looking for wasn't sold in Europe so I had no choice but try it. And I have to say that I have been happily suprised about it.
First of all, the item, which was meizu's bluetooth earbuds, was discounted and free of shipping charges. Since the shipping was free, I was expecting to have to wait 30+ days to receive it, but no, I received it the 06/02, not even 17 days after the order. I also received regularly informations about the location of the product during the process (but I did pay 2 dollars for a tracking number).
The item was an original meizu product, not a fake, and the quality is of a high level. Really nicely surprised and happy about it.
