I bought a charger from gearbest and charged my tablet for 3 hrs when suddenly just heard a noise and started to smell like burned plastik and it destroyed my tablet, i cant turn it on anymore! Shopping from gearbest is risky!

Ordered from Gearbest several times in the past for several hundred £'s worth of items. Ordered a Xiaomi mi pad 1 for £100 from Gearbest.
One of the worst courier companies in the United Kingdom was used, called Yodel. The company I work for uses Yodel as well and a quick internet search show they have been
Voted one of the worst companies for deliveries due to the amoutn of parcels they loose and their poor customer service.
The delivery driver for Yodel handed me an empty box and Gearbest did not send it 'signed for' Someone at Yodel had opened the box and stolen the items as the barcode Yodel put on their orders was ripped open and the item taken out but the empty box delivered to me.

Yodel are refusing to help and Gearbest are only offering a part refund $60 of a $125 order.

After further discussion Gearbest support agree'd to a full refund after I showed them the complaints i'd sent to Yodel. After I showed the complaint the refund was done immediately.
The support staff at Gearbest have been prompt at replying, informative and helpful from the outset and I couldn't really fault them.
There's no reason not to use Gearbest as customer service, pricing and products are good. But it seems as with many others, Yodel has let me down here and i'm unsure if I will submit to using Yodel again. I am not out of pocket here which is the main thing.

Good but watch out
October 17, 2016

I have been purchasing from GB alot, and I have never had any problems until recently I received my package with a missing item and a watch which wasn't working. Luckily I fixed the watch myself by replacing the battery.

I guess the best bet would be to keep checking with the customer services on the quality of things, writing them to test the items before shipping.

Customer service is great and never had any problems dealing with GB.

1st case, 10 DAYS after item ordered, no shipment yet, after email and contacting C. S., told me the item is not available any more. I could have order from other store and receive the package at that time already.
2nd case, 3 weeks after order made, not received shipment yet, tracking shows the package landed in LA and went to nowhere...
I won't give them the third opportunity to waste my time anymore!

STAY AWAY FROM THEM
October 2, 2016

I ordered $130 worth of fishing reels and knifes. They split the order in 2, got $50 worth reels and never got my $80 worth of knifes. Their offering to refund me half of my money. So I'm paying $90 for $50 of products! If it's to good to be true it I guess aint true! Back to AMAZON! I spent thousands with them NOT ONE PROBLEM! DON'T GET TAKEN!

Comprei uma action cam e diversos acessórios, paguei portes, seguro de alfandega, tudo, e 3 meses depois quando chegaram as coisas ainda tive que pagar as custas de alfandega que não me foram restituídas.
Quando pagamos os seguros de alfandega, os valores depois pagos são restituídos, ao que me responderam que não tinham nada que ver com os custos do país destinatário.
Agora só compro no Lightinthebox e Miniinthebox, pois aqui tudo funcionara corretamente e restituem o total dos portes alfandegários do país de destino, mesmo que estes sejam de igual valor ao da encomenda, assim fizeram comigo várias vezes.

BEWARE OF THIS SITE

I ordered an ILife robotic vacuum cleaner from this company. When the item was shipped, it was delivered to a store in the town I live in. Thankfully it's a small town and the merchant was able to track me down fairly easily. I ordered the item on July 28,2016 and received it on August 9,2016. Within 2 weeks, it stopped functioning properly. I went on the web site and followed all of the trouble shooting guidelines but was unable to get it to run properly. I then contacted GearBest for an exchange. WELL... after stalling me and making all kinds of excuses... they stated I was outside the warranty period. Apparently your warranty begins the day you order this and not on the day you receive it... how's that work exactly? They insisted it was outside of the warranty date even though I sent my first email to them on September 16,2016. Long story short... they first suggested I send the unit to
China with a $120.00 and they would repair it. Then they offered me a $20.00 credit on the website to apply to future purchases... like I will ever purchase from them again. Their final resolution is to credit back to my original payment account (Visa card) $40.00. What makes all of this so frustrating beside the obvious rip-off, three of my siblings ordered the same unit and all have had no problems. I feel like I just possible received a defective unit. All I wanted was an even exchange and they refused. I don't feel like I should be out any additional expense to have them ship me a replacement unit. The best part of this whole fiasco? Every time they reply to you... they say "Thanks for your understanding." OMG seriously. The only thing I understand is this site is a huge ripoff and they do not stand by their products... I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission. All over a vacuum...

I received my teclast 11 tablet today & it is not working. The window option crashes & does not work at all while android system frequently crashes. I want to return this defective tablet gearbest sold me but now they are coming up with excuses. I have logged ticket T*******431 with them.

Great catalog with no unnecessary poor items. All items are quality and a good price. Customer support is very good. Receive a tracking number, even for cheaper orders. Get free and fast shipping. I get quick orders. It's nice that you can pay with PayPal.

Issue: shipping for remote area, out dated stock for some items caused delivery delay

Resolution:
1. Shipping was shoulder by the gearbest as to shlw courtesy for their site bug.
2. Out stock item, they contacted me for the outstock item and ask for options todo as the item is pure not available for time being and good thing they updated as well asap their site items to make no more mistake with the customer.

What i can see is there is no perfect site and what is good is that how to deal and resolve the issue is the most important thing here.

Keep up gearbest and more power.

Suggestion: great power comes with great responsibility
Please include 24hrs live chat support towards the support team not only pre sales.

Do not order from this site. I ordered a xiaomi redmi note 3 pro from them. They took my money and shipped an inferior phone, then refused to refund me until i paid to ship the old item back. I told them i would be glad to send the wrong item back if they paid return shipping, and they refused. They tried to give me partial store credit ($30) to keep the crappy phone.

Now they have 144.89 of my money and i have a paperweight that i didn't order. I am being forced to try to go to visa to get a refund.

I have been shopping on GearBest for 2 years. This online store took my fance because its promotions were very exciting and also discount policy was good. You can save on this site using points which you receive for shopping, though you get even more discount even on promotional goods.

First thing i ordered was phone Meizu MX4, which i use till today, it cracked 2 times and both time i replaced screen and all functions work properly.

You can hear many dissapointing reviews about bad delivery. I can assure that those problems concern many retailers and even if i did not get my goods which occured only a couple of times (50+orders) Gearbest offered great offers including resending goods, adding points with greater value than price of the goods or even full refund.

I recommend this retailer to all new members!

Thieves! Never sent item.

I ordered some strip LED lighting way back in late June 2016. Never received a thing. I sent an inquiry and they respond with email and ticket number: T*******340. Tried today to use their website to resolve this and you get part of the way thru and it just crashes giving the "bad gateway" crap.

Sketchy product

My "new" Teclast phone/tablet arrived sooner than expected. I come to learn, however, that my phone's sim card doesn't fit the tablet's sim port. So until I buy a compatible cell phone, the tablet's phone feature will have to go unused. The tablet has no dings or dents and is sleek, dark and lightweight. But, upon first opening the package the tablet was carefully wrapped in, I immediately took note of numerous faint scratches on the middle right side of the screen surface. I got this tablet on sale at a great price. But, it's condition makes me think it was either pre-owned or has been refurbished. My first and last time buying from Gearbest.

I paid for their mistake?

I am upset since I got my partial order arrived but the 2nd shipping is missing so I track it down and somehow it returned back to the warehouse within my same country. Now they want me to pay the shipping fee USD10 to send it again. However my address is correct so that's why I got my first package. Therefore the 2nd shipping must have incorrect address by their stuff's mistake. I will update again what will happen since they said they will refund me but I still lost USD10 in value?! My rest of the order still worth $50

I habe bought a few times from this site, they usually deliver what was ordered.
However, I ordered a Cenovo Mini PC2. On their site, they tell you the windows license is original (multiple customer pre-sales questions). For some reason, it expires after only one month and you have to buy a new one (120$, ouch). So I wrote a bad review for the product, which never appeared in their review system.
So you should know
THEY LIE ABOUT THEIR PRODUCTS
THEY WILL NOT PUBLISH BAD REVIEWS ABOUT THEIR PRODUCTS

I opened a ticket to return my device, I was instructed to follow advices behind a link, which was unfortunately broken. So: no help so far.

After a few days, the gearbest support sent me a link to download a cracking tool in order to unlock the Windows 10 delivered in the machine, after having deactivated some windows security features. Technically, that might work, but it doesn't look very legal.
When they reply to product requests with "the product is 100% original", that is just a lie, and what's worse: when I tried to add a comment on the product, warning that the Windows license will expire after only a few months, they just won't publish it, and thats makes a sales site very untrustworthy to me.

IN SHORT
They have a lot of small and cheap gadgets which usually do what they are supposed to and which are great for the price. But an internet store that will deliver cracks to bypass windows licensing or that will remove negative product comments from customers doesn't deserve to be endorsed.

Shop very strange. I make a few orders in the store, but was receive only 1. After the purchase of the goods in gearbest, the store manager decides to send you a product or not. If you bought it at a high price, they will send it, if you bought it in action, you can be sure they will cancel it. They cancel the orders without giving any reason. Perhaps it was some kind of fraud. I do not recomend phurchase in this store.
