This was my worst experience with online shopping so far. They never shipped my package, ignored my complaints and only wanted to give me like 20% of my money back in coupons. Thankfully I paid with PayPal, so after like a month of waiting for Gearbest to solve this, I turned to them and got my case closed, they'll send me all my money back. Never gonna shop from here again, very bad customer service.
I ordered a T1 smartwatch on the website. That was the cheapest offer on the market. (this is the bait!) I paid and I waited for the watch to arrive. One month..., two months. Nothing. After two months I wrote an email, that I want a refund, but I didn't even get an answer.

Fake delivery information (they claimed the phone had been sent via DHL, which was a lie), four months of automated and completely unhelpful responses, and a partial refund - even though the item was never sent. I've now been told I get the rest of my money back if I delete my negative reviews on Trustpilot. Not a chance. Gearbest is basically a fraudulent operation and deserves all the negative publicity it's receiving. I strongly suspect that the positive reviews here are also fake.
Bought POCO mobile phone from them-after 2 months main camera stuck on the 50 cm focus- sent back to them, after a month they say it is not repairable and cannot send replacement as "a problem with stock" (the same model is still available from them). Asked for replacement for similar value - they have a tactics of offering some pennies to the virtual wallet (to make order from them). I demanded full return of working phone, they still insist on offering some pennies into the wallet. The customer service communicates with broken English, makes empty promises and use avoidance tactics to not either repair product (they use external suppliers anyway) so they do not have any responsibility what they sell. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

I bought a tv box from Gearbest but they keep on changing the dispatch time to weeks and haven't received my product. Don't buy from them they don't deliver as promised
They simply DON'T DELIVER the goods you give your money for, plus they DON'T REFUND your money back. They are a company of SCAMMERS, with a costumer service that filled me with lies, just to keep me inactive, but I won't let them TRAP OTHER BUYERS! They even tried to give some terrible excuses on my previous post here, that they have given me a tracking number, and I should wait for the laptop I ordered, although they already have admitted they won't deliver, plus I haven't got the refund they promised! They will keep lying, probably will post some lies under my review, but I have kept everything they told me and I can prove their fraud!

I have been waiting for a refund for over 8 months now. My tickets go unanswered for months, leaving me having to go into live chats that are only offered in certain departments. For the months of January and February I was given different dates on when my refund would be sent in and every single one of the them was wrong. The only one that did make it on time was the one sent to my Gearbest wallet. I only agreed to it if withdrawing it would be simple, but turns out you can't withdraw your funds at all. Now I am being ignored on the chat's all together.
They take your money but don't send the merchandise,. When you complain they give empty promises. They promise shipping in 3 to 5 days and I'm going on 3 months and they still haven't shipped. They say I can wait or order something else. I wanted what I ordered - it is a scam.
Don't buy from these cowboys. "Support" is not part of their remit. I got quite a few bits from them, some were complete and utter Chinese crap but I sucked it up with those. On a more expensive robotic vacuum/mop, it didn't work and they just don't want to know! I did receive the best ever reponse to feedback where i complained about their service. I bought a thermometer from gearbest three months ago.
It arrived in just three weeks, but it is not working properly. It always shows 139,2F or 59,6C body temperature.
I wrote to them explaining the issue and they answered that they will do something as soon as possible. Well it is already over two months and no solution, no refund, nothing. Although I tried more times to contact them.
My opinion is stay away from gearbest. If they don't want happy customers, they are in a wrong direction. Also I wrote a bad review about the thermometer and they just don't upload it.
Terrible service
Terrible service, terrible support. I have purchased an item on gearbest.com 4 months ago. It should be delivered in less than 2 months, but i haven't get get it in 4 months and still cant get any information about the status. Support just telling to wait while they are working on this case. I have contacted them few times and all the time result was the same - i was tol to wait. And now i'm ignored and dont get any response! This was 3rd purchase on this site and all the time there was big issues. I will never use it again and will not recommend to do this for anyone else.
1 defective item, 3 never shipped
I placed two orders. On 10/14/20. Today is 1/29/21
One **************774) for a "spy camera". It was not as described and I asked for a refund. They jerked me around that it was "one of their vendors" and refused to take responsibility. Eventually, I filed a PayPal dispute. Finally, I was issued a refund for the camera ($31.99).
The second order **************646) was for three items. One was shipped and received. Three items were NEVER shipped. They finally agreed to cancel these items.
I'm am owed $39.93 for these three items.
They refuse, claiming the $31.99 somehow covers both issues...
They have jerked me around for three months.
And now I can't file a PayPal dispute. I'm sure that was their plan all along. So, now I will file my complaint here.

Sold me a Asus ROG 2 phone with a warranty that is local to China only. Asus refused to help and asked me to contact Gearbest who refused to help also but said they will issue a partial refund of $120 (£88 UK) - but refused to refund it back to my PayPal and instead issued it to their app wallet!. Contacted PayPal and Gearbest asked me to trust them and cancel the dispute and they will refund to my PayPal, which I agreed to. Surprise, they won't refund back to Paypal! And now I am stuck with a store credit to a scam website and paying £248 for screen repair! Unable to raise with PayPal again hense the haha get lost attitude. Dishonest and so disingenuous with their fake overly nice condescending English. Do not use for larger purchases. Suitable for buying cheaper bulk items like face masks! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Gearbest would undoutedly be the worst online shopping experience I have endured in over 20 years of internet transactions.
To be clear about one thing... Gearbest are not an online shop with products to sell, but a virtual shopping mall, incorporating hundreds of little Chinese retailers. Not that this is bad, but unlike other reputable shopping malls who honour their customers purchases and transactions conducted through their interface, Gearbest provide no such guarantee or support. It has been my experience over 5 years of dealing with Gearbest that their service and reliability has declined considerably. That's right. All the more fool me to keep giving them another chance you may say.
I just buy junk for my grandkids, like tv boxes, headphones, flashlites, watches, etc, so the cost has never been the issue. It's like playing the lotteries when you order from Gearbest. You take your chances as whether it arrives or not.
If you ask for Gearbest support with regards to an unreceived order they will politely refer you to instructions on how to contact that seller. So then you have recreate another letter of enquiry giving dates, order number, product details and the problem for the reseller shop. In response from that store you can expect one of two things. 1/ a message, from someone with a poor command of the english language, to say they will investigate. 0r 2/ no response at all. This has happened to me many times.
So after a period of time you move to the next step, which is to go back to Gearbest support, recreate another letter of enquiry giving dates, order number, product details, the reseller and the problem. The response from Gearbest support this time is the condescending, "be patient" message and let us know how you get on over the coming months.
Currently for the 2020 year I'm only down six undelivered orders out of the 11 paid for.
I have outstanding orders from April 2020 to October 2020.
During the same period I have order items from AliExpress, Amazon, Readers etc... all goods arrive within a 2-3 week period... but with Gearbest expect delays of up to 8 mths, if they arrive at all.
Do I think Gearbest provide a good service? No.

They block honest negative and inconvenient to them product reviews. That is why all their $#*!ty products have ratings close to 5*. Their support ignores questions about it. I'm done with them. Ali offers better service.
Terrible experience. I paid for cell phone, shipping and insurance. He was supposed to be sent between 07.01 and 08.01. They just announced the shipment to DHL, and they didn't send the package. I have contacted DHL several times. I have contacted Gearbest technical support at least 10 times. They refuse to cancel the order and make a refund. They point me to incorrect information and lie that they sent the package. In the meantime, the price of the phone has been reduced by $ 20, and the delivery deadlines are constantly being moved on the site. I do not recommend Gearbest to anyone, these are scammers.
I like shopping at this store very much. The prices are low and the quality is pretty good. Shipping may take a while to Canada but since the shipping fee is so low, I would still rather shop here than other online stores. Customer service is pretty responsive and professional too. I have not had a bad experience yet and plan on shopping here regularly for electronic accessories.

I got my products but one was not what they promised and one broke after a few seconds of use. They still continue to use wrong information on their website even though they admitted to me that it is not correct. Answer: Dont really matter mate, regardless, what they do if does not arrive, they will not refund, they offer to resend at your cost. Then you do Paypal dispute, they refuse to refund unless you close the case, if you close the case, Paypal will not help. In my circumstances Paypal decided in my favour and refunded, but dragged on, avoid this company in future, Bangood better

Answer: I would advise you to stear clear. If the site does not let you order with free shipping then you have dodged a bullet. I got free shipping but the product was damaged an only fit for resting your cup on they offered a refund less the first shipping that was ment to be free or a replacement. As it cost 25 pounds to send back to resolve the matter I chose to except the replacement it came and was just as bad a tablet as the first. Take my advice and run a mile.
