Brand new fridge broke after 6wks of use. Fridge has been out for 8wks and counting. GE is doing nothing to replace the fridge because it is "deemed repairable". However, that repair will take an addition two months minimum according to the service company. So brand new house and no fridge for my large family to use. 10/10 don't recommend

Falls apart

In two years (after warranty expired)the front glass just...well...fell out. The front wide burner works...after a few clicks and then tries to burn your face off. Other than that, it has no conception of even cooking. Amazing that this company allowed it on the market.

Cafe Refrigerator failed after one year. Tech has been out here 7 times. I've had to call Customer Relations 10 times. Got a few okay reps, and got some horrible, rude reps who have no clue, got hung up on. You never get the same rep twice. I have an advocate who has NEVER called me so why do I have him? They want to replace the compressor even though they said it was NOT the compressor. They've offered me a pro-rated Fridge which is fine, but keep telling me the tech has to deem the Fridge unrepairable. Techs don't like to do that. Engineers have been involved and they don't know what the issue is, so they are going to replace a part they know won't work. No getting past the reps at customer relations who are clueless. Meanwhile, I have a family to feed. Have thrown out food twice because "this time it should work". Hopefully, this review will help someone because GE doesn't care. Next step social media.

We bought a GE washer a year ago. It broke down within a year. Have to spend hours and hours to get service and they keep cancelling too. Their products and services SUCKS. Please do not buy from them.

My washer-dryer stackable unit caused a flood in my house last night. I was washing ONE towel, when all of a sudden family downstairs yelled up saying water was gushing through the ceiling. A plumber came out to the house immediately to determine that all pipes and lines were intact and that the water was coming from the bottom of my washing machine unit. I was without a washer for the month of October waiting for GE to repair it. Now, 2 months later this "repaired" machine flooded my house. So now my options are getting the unit repaired, AGAIN. If it is unrepairable, I was told I need to buy a new unit and they will give me a discount. So…. A $1500 washer and dryer unit should only last a year? GE needs to do better. I can't trust this unit and do not want it in my house, I need my unit replaced.

I bought GE dishwasher model: GDF520PGJ2WW The dishwasher stopped working after 3 years although I used it very little. I called a local repair shop they told me they had stopped taking repair requests for this model because it breaks down so often even after being repaired. I the called GE directly. They sent out a repairman at $119 a visit. He told me it would cost $550 to repair the dishwasher, but he recommended that I not bother fixing it because it would likely break down again. GE obviously has known for a long time this model was defective, but kept selling it anyway. In deed, they could have told me that when I called to set up the appointment because I gave them the model and serial number. That would have at least saved me the $119 technician visit. I'll never buy another GE product. It's an unscrupulous company. I know it had a good reputation decades ago, but thing have changed.

We have had nothing but issues with our washer that was purchased in July 2022. It completely stopped filling with water in Nov. 2022. We are now in Jan 2022 with a washer that is still not working. Service teams have been rescheduled because of they didn't have the staff. You would assume they would save a few service people as back up in case someone was sick. Customers would be a lot happier, and have working products. What good is a warranty. When it doesn't even back itself up. We are very disappointed. This is the second GE washer that has failed in the last year. The first we didn't even mess around with the warranty we just went and purchased a new washer completely. Now, since it has been two products in the last year, we are trying to use the warranty to back up our purchase. Would not reccommend the HotPoint washer from HomeDepot. They HIGHLY recommended it, but it was absolutely horrid. Even when it was working we had issues with clothes coming out that still had soap on them, clothes that were not fully wet (and no we weren't over loading it) I often ran a super load with a medium amount of clothing to simply get enough water in the wash bason to wash the clothing better.

Not stainless; RUST

I bought GE refrigerator, model # GZS22IYNBHFS about a year ago and it has rust behind the handles and at the top of each door. There is nothing they will do about it as the warranty is up. Very dissatisfied!

I purchased a GE Profile electric stove and it has been nothing more than a piece of junk! The oven will no maintain a set temperature no matter what length of time you give it for preheat! Local GE technicians have come and gone changed computer boards and in the end problem was not solved. Quote " ovens are made to fluctuate by 50 to 75 degrees. This is a normal." That I cannot swallow... I will never again by a GE appliance! Save you self a lot of frustration by some other brand!

Well it's been since November 7th since my 1st call to repair, after 8 times out and 3 months the same thing that was wrong from the beginning is still not repaired. Ge warranties are obviously useless! At this time still no hope in sight!

GE team, it is very disheartening that you have such poor performing appliances made and sold. Your After sales suck and your products do much more. Our GE refrigerator with 2 door is just 5 months old (2022 model) and is already broken down as the compressor stopped working. We have been in touch with your customer support since late November since it broke down and until today which is Jan 1st we dont have it fixed. The GE customer support are so poorly equipped that they dont know how to track the history of the case, we have to wait for hours together to get connected to a representative and after that we have to repeat our sad saga of how and when the refrigerator broke down. Imagine in a country like US,can anybody with a small kid at home survive without a refrigerator for more than a month? This is how much your product and customer service sucks. The third party teams you have engaged with are not in line with your team and they too name that GE is a mess. Can you please look into our concern and help with a resolution so we could feel better? We really want to think of options to claim our damages as there is no help and this is cruel to make us wait this long. I really hope you still do take care of your after sales and will call back. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I bought a French door refrigerator with a 10k suite it failed in less than a month. This was in September of 22. As of right now still no solution and they went ahead and closed my case. I have never in my life been lied to by so many reps. Apparently integrity is NOT a requirement to work at GE. I build homes and will never use their products ever again. I recommend taking them to court. Unfortunately that is what I will need to do.

We just bought a house not even a year ago. The new appliance came with it. The dryer has already stopped working. It will take TWO weeks for a service tech to come fix it since it under warranty.

The worst customer service ever.
It takes them months to repair an appliance.
They do not understand you need to use your appliances and it is very disturbing when you do not have oven and microwave for months.
They come and go and several times and can not fix them just wasting your time.

Purchased a GE Cafe oven about 5 years ago. $4000 plus taxes, installation and etc.
Now I find out repair parts are no longer available for the oven. Unacceptable and horrible product support. Never buy GE anything unless you enjoy burning up thousands of dollars.

I purchased a GE microwave through Costco to be delivered 40 days ahead; which is too much, but I agreed. On the delivery date, the guy from the delivery called me to ask where he could park the car and I explained that there was a public parking with 1,000 parking spots right in front my building, besides plenty of parking spaces on the street. The guy never showed up and left without notice and never picked up the call again. I had to call GE delivery many times and they rescheduled for 8 days ahead. I have no confidence it will work, since it has no motive for not working at the delivery date. I spoke with many representatives over the phone ( *******508) and they said they could not do anything to help me. I had to wait again. The service is awful. Customer has to be at their disposal. I'm really very disappointed.

I would run from their refrigerators, I purchased in 2021 and my first service call was on December 5th for the refrigerator not keeping food fresh, Since I have had to have 7 service calls for the same issue. Does not keep for more than 2 days. Temperature stays at 40 degrees and mold forms on food. Health department states 35.
Get another brand.

DO NOT BUY A GE PRODUCT

I just bought a brand new refrigerator and it didn't work from day 1. I bought it from homedepot and they told me to call GE in order to get it repaired because they are not responsible.
I called GE, they arranged for a 3rd party to come and look at the fridge. They said the compressor is bad (FROM DAY ONE)! I had to wait for the part to come in. He cane back and "fixed it". Ir stopped working again in 3 days. I called GE again to return or exchange the fridge, they said that I had to get another repair.
I scheduled another one, he never showed up and yet I already have 3 parts that are ordered and I have to wait AGAIN for the idiots to come and "repair " the fridge AGAIN!
DO NOT BUY ANY GE PRODUCTS! EVER!

I purchased a slide-in GE Gas range during BF event. I purchased the options to disconnect the old, connect the new and remove the old appliance. When it was delivered on 12/02/22, the installer said he would not disconnect the old appliance (Issue #1). I told him to leave the range and found a plumber to install it on 12/08/22. Yesterday, I removed the grates to clean the top surface and noticed a chip and crack that was painted over in the right front corner under the grate.
I have been trying to contact the company but they have made it so difficult, especially since it is the weekend. I just need an email address so I can write to them.
I wrote something in a tweet on GE twitter and they sent a survey to rate the service.
I am furious!

After 2 years our washing machine dies and service department couldn't diagnose the first 2 service calls, we are going on a month of HAND washing our clothes. Never will we buy ge product again!
