I uninstalled your app. It won't let me change my preferences let alone my search information. It won't let me opt out of you taking and sharing all my personal information with the entire world. You want my banking information to give me a discount on gas? No way, that is just insane. It wants to know where my trip is to. None of your business. You want to sell all my info to other companies. No, not your place or your greedy business. Sad you can't just find gas prices on your area when that is what the app is supposed to do. Quite the scam for people's information you have going on there.

If ever there was an example of switch and bait, Gas Buddy is a great example. I have yet to pay what their app says (usually 5-10 cents higher) and the so-called deals of an extra 17 cents per gallon were only 2 cents per gallon. Such liars! They need to be honest or get buried.

Anyone with a persons drivers license and your bank account info could empty the account.
BIG SECURITY RISK. No Protection. They will not take a credit card or Paypal which offer the consumer protection from unauthorized transactions.

Made me so mad. Went out of my way to 2 gas stations they said gas is cheap. Prices were not even close and then when i tried to update it over and over. It would show like i did, but as soon as i closed the app and opened it again, it had the old prices which were low and inaccurate.
Now. I updated gas prices at 2 different gas stations, it updated one, but it would not update the other one.
They ask the public to participate, but really it is waste of time. It will show on your phone as if it did update but go on, close the app, open it again, and the old wrong prices are still there.

Made me so mad. That # prices were wrong, but then it would not even update. Now that i have read all the other reviews, and the fact that it used to be a good app but. A new owners have taken over and are doing horrible job. I am taking this app off. Yes i will use Waze thank you. I will not update prices for GasBuddy which you do not even update, but leave the wrong low prices so someone else will waste their time just like i did today. And yes i have seen how scammy this company is now. Will not get their credit card and its too bad i gave them any of my information. No I will not get any kind of card from them. The end.

THESE ARE INCORRECT PRICES ALL THE TIME FOR 10 CHEAPEST GAS! WASTE OF TIME, AND MISLEADING. POINTLESS. STAY AWAY!

Just tried using this app and the card stopped working while I was at a pump. It is not updated, even if it states it was 2 to 4 hrs ago, it will be more at the pump. Just stick to Waze app. I would not recommend gas buddy be used by anyone. A total incompetent app! You have been warned and I hope it helps someone use any other alternative. I enclose a photo of my receipt before it stopped working at any other pump or even gas station?

When I scanned my Gas Buddy card at the pump, it over-road a discount of $. 10 a gallon, and it gave me a lower discount! I threw the card in the trash after that. You can get better discounts by using the gas station discount program that is available.

Besides all other issues mentioned above, this company cancelled my card without notice. When asked, they told me that I have a duplicate account? Really?
Three months tried to get a new card. Just keep asking banking info to send small deposits for verification but never sent. Only sending stupid useless emails once in a month.

Since most people get around 2% discount just by using your regular credit card, GasBuddy is no longer an advantage. At today's prices, most people would get 6 cents savings per gallon with a credit card and only 5 cents with GasBuddy. GasBuddy takes credit for other loyalty savings, which you'll get anyway. So when they report 8 cents savings, it's only 5 cents from GasBuddy and 3 cents because of your loyalty card (Sheetz, Murphy's, Kroger's, Harris Teeter, etc.). Lastly, it's very annoying to report has prices and not get any meaningful credit for them in the app. That's probably why people aren't doing it much anymore.

I have tried to use the gas buddy debit in 5 stations, 1 accepted it but did not give me the discount so I make that a 100% dissatisfied rate. Circle K no better just so you know.
Too bad because I have used the gas buddy app to find gas on trips and have been pretty satisfied with it. I guess charge cards aren't your forte.

Wow... Where can I start... Another no-Service Company. Lost my card... April 2021. Tried to get a new one for three months and 8 days. The only way you can talk to someone is to go through a matrix of automated call prompts. There are 9 of them... after begging them to do business with them and getting no help, I finally chose the prompt to cancel card. Guess what. When you do that, they hook you up to a know nothing, work from home powerless person who reads from the same script and tells you what is wrong the same as the bots... but guess what again. It's not wrong. All the stuff they tell you you didn't do, you did. They don't listen to you they just keep reading from the script telling you you are wrong. Aggravation. Cancelled my card today, breathed a sigh of relief and made a vow to stop doing business with companies that don't provide service. Next after this, cancel my connections with walmart... No cashiers... another slap in the face.

Today we stopped by the Esso in Black Diamond Alberta.
Wow! You can certainly tell it's under New Management. The store is now bright and clean and oh my... you HAVE to try their chicken and fries... Look out KFC they have got you beat by a mile!
I would drive from Okotoks to grab that for dinner anyday!
The selections looked fresh and plentiful and the staff there were cheerful and very helpful.
