Used the old app for over 8 years and have close to 4 million points. The old app was great. Easy to use. The new app is full of garbage impossible to read easily. Their IT department must be a bunch of 13 year olds that don't even drive. I stopped posting right after the update last September. Too bad they made a god thing bad.
New version is worthless! Can you believe the GasBuddy asscracks have written articles on distracted driving and put them on their GasBuddy website! Complete hypocrisy since GasBuddy appears to have been purposely designed to be nothing but a great big driving distraction that gives worthless information. I have uninstalled it and will leave it uninstalled!
In the new update, the list no longer shows stations as being top tier or not. Instead, there is a filter that supposedly allows you to filter out all except top tier gas stations. But when I choose this flter, NO STATIONS will show AT ALL! And I know there are top tier gas stations in any given area, my own area included, like Exxon, Shell, BP, Valero, Marathon, etc., but they disappear on the map and list when the filter is applied. What good is the filter option then? PLEASE fix this! Gas Buddy used to be a great app, but now it's next to useless. I know this is a worn out saying, but it certainly applies in this case: IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT!
It is a convoluted scam it does not work the system used to be pretty good when they first started out years ago but now it completely drain your energy and frustrate you they took away some good functions and put in place other garbage designed to lead you around in a maze and take advantage of you this app is horrible
What happened to the top tier logo? The old app let us know when a station was "Top Tier" gas.

Gas prices are still to high, we need to keep everything in the United States of America so our gas prices are not so high and keep us Americans working.
I used to use GasBuddy all the time and since the update it is a useless piece of garbage. Unbelievable to go from one of my most useful apps to one of the most frustrating apps.

Can I have the old one back. I loved it. I hate the update. I only use diesel and it keeps reverting to regular. I travel so this really screws things up. This used to be really good. It went from a 5 to a 1 overnight.
I've Been A Gasbuddy For A Little Over Nine Years To Date Also On Average I've Reported At Least 30 Stations Daily. The Mileage I Covered Had Been 10-13 Miles Also Daily But Since The Update After Achieving 22.300 Points And Leader In My Area Gasbuddy Has Methodically And Systematically Taken All My Numbers Down Also Eliminated My 30 Day Reporting (Never Stopped) And Taken It Down Day By Day. I'm Graciously Quitting This Site And Only Advise Others Not To Waste Your Time, Gas And Mobile Data On This Frivolous Site..
The old app was great and so easy to use! You've ruined it. Cumbersome, difficult to use!

The September 2016 update makes the app useless for me. AND I CAN'T GET THE OLD VERSION BACK! Does anyone know of a similar app that isn't so cluttered?
Refuse to use this app. The new update is the worse ever. If I could rate it 0 I would. Admit this was not what the consumer likes and fix it. Otherwise without us there wouldn't be an app!
The old app was great. Easy to use, wasn't cluttered with a lot of useless junk. The new app must have been designed by some geek that doesn't even gave a drivers' license. It is cumbersome, hard to use, hard to read. Don't know why they insist on trying to fix something that isn't broken -- I have nearly 3 million points and have signed on over 900 days in a row, but I am going to stop using the new apps
GB took great app and change to the worst. Colors can't be seen in low light. Logos too small to recognize. Update button placed too far away from prices and when prices are updated, you have to tap yet again to get back to list/ map. Various other issues make this the worst app ever.
New version sucks! I stopped using it after 3 years now. To bad was the greatest app ever
