So how am I going to sell these idiots went and took a perfectly good app that I used all the time, and totally destroyed it by placing ads that you cannot get rid of over the map. The ads take up over a third of the map space, you can't see the prices for the gas. There are no prices posted at all on the home page anymore. Just an ad also without a price for whichever gas station seems to have paid the most for the advertising. We are deleting it from our phones.

The bull$#*! card don't work. I've been calling for days. You cant sit and wait to speak to a rep anymore. They make you leave Message. That NO 1 RETURNS. I WANNA KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOIN WITH MY VITAL INFO, IF THE PHONY CARDS DONT WORK. IV ACTIVATED IT AND VERIFIED IT. STILL NOTHING. GASBUDDY GOT UNTILL MONDAY TO FIX IT. THEN IM GOING TO MY BANK AND SCREAMING FRAUD AND CHANGING MY INFO. AND YOU BETTER BELIEVE I'M TELLIN MY STORY TOO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN.

They reduced the number of points you can get and lessen your chances at winning free gas
The new changes have the site freezing daily
The contests aren't very much fun anymore
No one responds to your inquiries anymore. I have one station that has diesel but they never listen so I always have to add it and one station that was torn down kept getting gasoline prices!
The ads are terrible
You have to search for the x to close them
The design makes going back a page very difficult
All in all they have ruined a fun and useful app

I have never been mis-led with this Gas Buddy app.
Works great with Google maps for audible turn by turn directions. So far, it has been absolutley great. Thanks for saving me money Gas Buddy. Now, if you have a checking account, you can use their discount payment card anywhere stations accept debit and credit cards. First time use you save 15 cents per gallon. Thereafter, you save at least 5 cents a gallon.

The Gasbuudy card works really well. I have never received any fees or ATM fees whatsoever. The card asks for my Driver ID, or pin. The card asks for my odometer reading always so it can give me miles per gallon, costs thereof, etc. You can enter 9999 to bypass feature. The Gasbuddy card then approves your account and you proceed as you would normally. After several days you are emailed a summary of your transaction, detailing your savings and price you ended up paying per gallon. I am very pleased using my Gasbuddy card. Thanks for your time. P.S. Currently, I cannot wrap my head around any issues others may be receiving. My card is linked to my Wells Fargo account with no issues other than just savings so far. Maybe Gasbuddy had issues before but now those are resolved? Honestly, I really don't like to stick out like a sore thumb. But I for one, still love my Gasbuddy card. I dislike wasting time for others. Thank again for your time.

I use the web version, not the smartphone app. It's been awhile since I used gasbuddy.com so this came as a big surprise. Okay, what's wrong here, let me count the ways:

1) I'm looking for a local map that lets me examine my area and see all the local stations at a glance. For some reason the map icon isn't where it used to be, next to each station. Once i found the new location, I found that no matter what kind of gas I selected, it only displayed prices for regular.

2) Each time I follow a link to a new page, it forgets that I'm looking for diesel. It defaults to regular; should be able to save that data.

3) When I ask for the lowest local prices, I get some higher prices before the lowest one. In other words, not correctly sorted.

4) Huge load of ads keeps the display moving. As soon as I kill one, another takes its place.

This used to be a very useful site, but now it just seems to aspire to being a host for clickbait.
