Garden buildings direct took my order mid July for the BillyOh tree house. After promising to deliver on numerous occasions, but failing, I had to go on a family holiday. They then guaranteed delivery on 27th August, as all parts were in stock. I've just had an email saying they've sold my item so can't deliver until September as they need to manufacture my item. Considering I've called to complain 5 times and been lied to many more by phone and email I've now cancelled my order.
Beware BillyOh from Garden Buildings direct may never arrive.

Summer house.
Utter piece of $#*!e!
Panels have too long or too short t&g so they will not butt together.
Window frames bowed so the doors don't fit.
Roof doesn't go on as per instructions.
Very little over hang from the roof so water pours in the doors.
Every single piece of t&g leaks water in.
Floor isn't square.
Poor quality roofing felt.
Contacting them is a nightmare, keep getting the same standard email from them saying they don't give refunds but will send replacement parts. Bloody joke!

We were due to have the product delivered on Thursday 2nd May but it came with part of the roof missing. Eventually after a number of calls and emails I got the missing part delivered ten days later. The rest of the shed had been left in our garden.
When we have started building it there are no instructions, pieces of wood are chipped, the guttering is warped, the wood is flimsy and poor quality, the floor it's not level, the roof has gaps in it. I could go on and on.
I would like to know what the company are going to do by way of compensation as this shed was not cheap. I will be making sure that everyone knows not to purchase from this company.
I can't even get through to anyone on the phone, it's a joke.

Bought a Billy-Oh stilted playhouse 9 months ago when we moved house. Fine during the summer months, but when the children went into it last month (February 2019), the roof was covered in mould, it was up the middle strut on back wall and the floor was absolutely saturated. Complained to GBD and they said this is just one of those things that happens and to wipe it down with a soapy cloth! What? How will a soapy cloth deal with a saturated floor? They then said we could have upgraded the floor and roof but we chose not to. No, we didn't because it clearly states that the products are 'pressure treated' to supposedly prevent these things happening. They don't! We've tried really hard to get this resolved as I think £500 for a playhouse is not a cheap product. They now tell us that it's out fault as we should have wood treated it as soon as we got it. They said the treatment they use lasts 4-6 weeks. Nowhere on their website or in our documentation is ANY of this mentioned. They are simply liars who refuse to deal with customers once they have your money! I would suggest people go elsewhere and not think you're getting something good for your money from these people unless you're prepared to pay on top to 'upgrade' everything they offer you and use your imagination on how to 'treat' your playhouse. Next they'll be telling me it isn't designed for children!

Recently, we placed an order for a summerhouse, exactly 1 month before Christmas. We received it the week before Christmas and were able to get it built just in time for Christmas itself. My family enjoyed spending time in our newly built summerhouse.

It was probably the highlight of our Christmas. Thank you for delivering it on time and in good condition. I recommend Garden Buildings Direct for your housing and gardening product needs. They will get the job done undoubtedly.

I phoned to order an office cabin to be delivered in Channel Islands, Was told they could only deliver to a UK address. I told them I was happy for them to deliver it to a UK port and I would ship it onward. My question was, after listening to them tell me what was important, that I wanted to know the ex Vat price. To which the answer was No this was the only price. Wonderfully unhelpful, they should run training courses in how not to sell things.

I paid £1,500 for a 10 by 10 log cabin summerhouse. It arrived and was dumped at my front door in no particular order. Just individual bits of wood plopped down. There was no way to go through it all and ensure it was all there, literally hundreds of wood dumped at my front door. I offered the delivery driver a hand to take it round the back but he said no - it goes here. The first problem was that the starter slat was for a 12 ft summerhouse not a 10ft. Second was that i had upgraded to 28mm think walls and paid extra, I got two window frames 28mm thick and one 19mm thick. The slats wouldn't fit in this. Next I had one Wall slat missing so couldn't finish building that wall and lastly I had one roof beam broken. My "Summerhouse" now sits outside getting soaked from inside to out with the rain as my "Parts" which I was assured would be here within 3 to 5 days are still being made to order. All in all if I could send this heap of junk back i would. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

Ordered a playhouse for my daughter's birthday. They confirmed it would arrive a week before her birthday. Then I got another email to say that they couldn't deliver it now until the day after her birthday. When it finally came, I realised more than half of the main parts were missing, including the roof and the door and the entire back part. I rang up to complain and they assured me that it would be with me before the end of the week. Three weeks later and it still hadn't arrived. I rang again and they said it would definitely arrive on Monday. I waited in all day for it to not arrive yet again. I rang that night and they claimed that the driver had been injured lifting the parts but it would be with me the next day. Again I waited in on the Tuesday and it failed to show up again. I rang for the final time and they claimed that the driver was on his way and it would be arriving late in the evening. Of course, it didn't turn up. Their final claim was that the driver quit mid delivery! Please don't order from this company, they are a complete joke.
