Every time I go in and buy a NEW game, they try and push a used copy on me. Simply put... If i want used, i would grab used. But, 9x out of 10, I want new.
Misleading ads, product reviews, and the worst trade in rates
Online orders are a joke, sending out defective products and can't even get a simple return out of the $#*!s
Poorly run, and they hire morons to stack the deck
Staff is pushy and tries to upsell on things. They had new games that were cheaper than the used versions and they kept trying to get me to buy the used one... Makes no sense.
Too expensive for the games they have, bad service and no people skills, i buy because i have too there no other stores i xan shop
We together with my BB often order here just because we're game lovers and this place is a good one to find amusing series of various games. Nice one!
I love to shop on Gamestop.com when im looking for new games and accessories for my PS4 and XBOX one! I am a big gamer and love to spend time and $ at gamestop
This place USED to be okay. They would take older games that you had left over for the original Nintendo, the PlayStation 1....even the original X-Box & PS3 have become obsolete! This place sold out to Corporate America and no longer care about the young (kids) and old (kids) customer base they USED to have. Now it's ALL about the $$$ and no longer about making their customers happy. Go elsewhere!! You can buy & sell a MUCH wider variety of ALL types of games, from basically ALL game systems at EBay or even Amazon! The best part is they deliver it right to your home, so no more going into that sell-out, excuse for a gamers store that smells very much like feet or week old dirty boxers (seriously, every one I went into!).
You'll find some good product at good prices plus the staff is always knowledgeable and willing to help.
They always seem to force me into buying used games regardless how many times i wanted to buy a new copy, seems strange for a game store
Good pricing, but not best place I have visited. Probably, that is just mine opinion. But good option, if other are unavailable.
They offer you pennies on the dollar for a trade in. Ex, offer you $5, and sell it for $30. I know it's a business, but we are the same ones keeping you in business when buying.
I love the selection of games available and the customer service is always good. The only complaint I have is that I wish they paid more for games/trade-ins.
I have never had an issue with GameStop in any way! We are a family of gamers and by far they are the best option for values! As well as the fact that they have a reward system for their members which is nice!
We bought a used Xbox 360 a few years ago with a broken CD drive. It was used, but they were too lazy to check the OBVIOUS problem before resale. We took it back, they fixed it, then tried telling us that it was never broken to avoid having to fork over the money we paid.
If you need a game quick or if you're looking for second hand games, this is the play to go.
Never had any problems with them.
Its fairly new and it is the best place around here to get new and used games and accessories for a reasonable price
I ordered a virtual gift card and never received it. How hard can it be to email a customer a virtual gift card? It took them 3 weeks to respond to my emails. They sent a new order confirmation, but still no gift card! The phone customer service is terrible. Long wait times, and it took 3 different days of calling, spending over 2 hours on the phone until I finally spoke to a person who knew what she was doing. One of the previous customer service reps told me to go into a physical store and have them transfer a balance from a gift card number he gave me over the phone, to a physical gift card. The staff in the store couldn't do it because there was no PIN. So I wasted an hour and a half of my time doing that for nothing! I finally just requested a refund. I will NEVER order anything from GameStop again!
