Always love the used games selection and knowledgeable staff. I wish their trade in values would be a bit higher tho.
It's a great gaming store with very nice employees, but the trading system needs some work. Other than that it is great!
I love walking into game stop and seeing the arcades with the Xbox One and Ps4. Game stop allow me to reserve games, vearn power reward points, honestly yge beat game store business today is game stop.
This is my favorite store on the planet! They always have what I'm looking for and if they by slim chance don't, they have no problem getting it for me. I always walk of very happy
Easy to work with - quick and easy downloads - always available to help you if you run into any problems
They are almost exclusively alone. You also can try games, they have everything. Reliable, trustworthy, not comparable to a noname online reseller.
I wouldn't buy my console controls here as they are a bit pricy, but when it comes to renting games there's no better than GameStop. They keep a wide range of older and brand new video games. Sometimes they run out of certain games but mostly ones that just hit the market. And even then they will receive more copies within a day or two. I love playing video games, it takes my mind off of work and life. Sometimes I go theough 5 or 6 games in one month and, thanks to GameStop, I replace as many games as I like for as low as $5 a game.
All the guys there are very friendly and very helpful. They are very knowledgeable about the items that are sold
Bought cod ww2 for a nice price. Good service too. Thanks GS - other retailers selling at high prices
I like that the few gamestops that i have been too. Not one of the employees were pushy. Always have cool stuff on the shelves and a good knowledge of the items over all
I only stop by once a year for my yearly Pokemon game. When I walked into the store, I felt a sense of familiarity due to the entire selection in the store. A giant Snorlax plush, Pokemon-related items, anime stuff, you name it. Guys are always lax yet well-informed and helpful. Honest too.
Whenever I have a hankering for a new game, I come to Gamestop. Whether I'm going to get a new game I heard about, or want to find an older one, they've got what I need. And if I have no idea what I'm looking for, they are great at making suggestions on games they have actually played!
Always reliable to get my games ordered in the right manner. Highly recommend getting your games online
I ordered 2 games. The confirmation page never showed up. They charged me for one of the games and they never sent me an email. Help on site is useless
Stopped at a big box retail first and they where out of what i wanted, should have just gone to game stop first, they had what i was looking for and could suggest the added accessories i needed.
The trade in value for items is so grossly under marked for the seller (you) that its better to wait for promotions where you get a bonus or deal. They go through employees like toilet paper and sometimes, they have the IQ of such.
I have never needed to buy their discount card but I find it annoying to always be asked at the register, what happened to letting customers know with a sign or letting interested customers ask about club memberships? And if one of their employees forgets that they saw you 2 days ago despite conversing for some time about a new release, well they have a lot going on, with all the product they have to restock thats not in stock.
If you ever call in for an inventory check, make sure the representative can find the game/product box AND the item is working. Save yourself a trip and just order through eBay or visit your local video game store.
We bought some gift cards from GameStop and later tried to redeem them at their website. When we typed in the card number and the pin but the site told us that they were invalid. None of the three cards worked at all. So we called the number on the card and the number given by the site. After waiting for 32 minutes and 41 second, listening to their never ending advertisements, someone finally picked up the phone. The guy told us the cards were "never activated" and we had to go to the store in which they were bought in order to redeem it. The problem was that the cards were gifts, and there wasn't even an expiration date on the card. According to Nscl.org, if a expiration date is not given then "it shall be valid in perpetuity," but in this case it didn't even last the 5 years mandated by the Federal Credit Card act of 2009, which specifically states that a card "issued after August 22,2010 cannot expire for 5 years." We got one just two years ago.
Shop here for my son he's the Ultimate Gamer I can always find what I need the staff is very helpful great trade-in policies and stuff it's definitely my son's number one so I definitely go there for presents and whatever
We all know that the future is digital, but if you are still old-school and looking to get a good deal on a recently new game, go to an actual store. I've seen $60 games be $20 or less at a gamestop. The games are sometimes lightly used, but are totally worth it!
