I have had to replace my gadget guard twice. I'm not usually hard on phones or cases but these seem to break fairly easily. On a better note, my phone isn't broken though!
The product is simply a screen protector ($9.95 online and a square gaurs that covers all the function buttons on the phone rendering them unusable. Yiu have to remove the cover to use your phone. Obviously all of the other reviews online are fake.

When I dropped my brand new phone, my heart skipped a beat. The Black Ice covering popped off but my phone was completely intact! I quickly placed my Black Ice back on and ordered my replacement. Best money you will spend as far as protection for your phone. I had dropped a phone in the past with so called protection, it cost approximately 200.00 to replace the screen. My phones will never be naked again.

I didn't expect application to be so difficult. I've applied iPhone screen protectors before but this was completely different since this is my curved screen with the Samsung Note 9. I ended up needing a second one because of the complete disaster of the first time where I ended up breaking the protector. But second time around was good and I'm happy with my purchase. This is my 5th replacement. I have tried everything to keep it from coming off. I have even taken it to Verizon and they put it on. At $5.99 for shipping I have paid approximately $30.00 in shipping costs plus the original cost. Need something to protect my phone. If enlarge the photo you can see its coming off.

As long as you register your original purchased protector screen within the time frame allotted they will replace them for free. Definitely worth the initial investment.
