G2G publicly advertises "Seller Protection / GamerProtect for Sellers", strongly implying that sellers are protected if they meet the listed conditions.
In practice, this protection appears to be largely illusory.
After a buyer opened a dispute, G2G:
Froze the seller's funds,
Refused to apply Seller Protection,
And only afterward claimed that Seller Protection applies exclusively to chargebacks, not to buyer-initiated disputes.
This crucial limitation is:
Not clearly stated in the Seller Protection rules,
Not transparently disclosed prior to the transaction,
And only communicated once a dispute already exists.
As a result, sellers are led to believe they are protected, only to discover later that the protection does not apply in the most common real-world scenario: a buyer dispute.
This creates a misleading sense of security and allows the platform to retain full discretion while avoiding responsibility under its own advertised protections.
Based on this experience, sellers should not assume that "Seller Protection" provides any meaningful safeguard or guarantees payout when a dispute arises.

I was a small seller on a G2G site. I sold League of Legends profiles. I had 22 positive sales, with no customer complaints.
On 4/1/2026, buyer MarcinSell98 (read scammer) "bought" LoL profile. Delivery was instant.
After half an hour, he reported to the automated system that he had been given the wrong profile and email address.
As proof, he attached a screenshot of himself being connected to the ATTACHED EMAIL for which he allegedly did not have the correct password. And he filed a refund request. I had the right to respond to that request within 36 hours. I responded, pointed out the "error" that it was impossible for me to have sent him incorrect credentials if he had successfully connected to the email and sent a screenshot as proof. He immediately admitted the "error" and closed the case.
16. 1. 2026 I get an email from G2G support that the "customer" submitted a request for a refund because he lost access to his profile. After that email, I tried to access the profile and email address, successfully, the customer did not change the access code for either the profile or the email address. I have sent screenshots to G2G support. All the evidence they asked me for. Even usernames and passwords from email and LoL profiles. But for "security" reasons, they are not able to check whether the credentials are correct...
In total I sent them 28 different pieces of evidence (they ask that you have preventive 3 proofs before you put the profile up for sale https://support.g2g.com/en/support/solutions/articles/5000867343-game-account-service-rules-and-description), that the profile was not lost and that the buyer was lying.
The only evidence the buyer offered was the "famous" screenshot and his word that he couldn't access the profile.
Today, G2G ruled in his favor and gave him a refund. Even though their own TOS explicitly forbids them from doing so. https://www.g2g.com/terms-of-service The exact item of TOS 4.1.
I am an EU citizen and according to the law on contracts signed in the EU (refers to all online contracts concluded with EU citizens while they are outside the EU, which I am and as can be seen from my IP logs) all parties to the contract are entitled to the entire contract. I asked them for the buyer's details so that I could file a criminal complaint for online fraud and I invoked that law. G2G support ignored it.

I was a seller on your website since 2022, and I had successfully reached Level 104 through years of hard work and dedication.
Due to a networking issue, I was unable to resolve one ticket for just one day. Without any warning or second chance, my account was permanently closed. This decision has deeply affected me, as my years of effort were reduced to zero within a minute.

This is an extremely rigid customer service team on this website. They only ever copy and paste responses and strictly demand evidence according to their templates, never caring whether the game company actually provides such emails as proof. This is the worst experience I have ever had.
HORRIBLE site. No decent support, they demand a bunch of documents, then ban you for trying to insist on sending documents. They made me spend almost an hour trying to take photos and provide proof for the account, only to ban me in the end. Not to mention I was banned on two accounts for trying to register. HORRIBLE company. I advise looking for other places to sell rather than dealing with this bunch of disgusting people. HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE COMPANY.
My experience with G2G was simply shameful from start to finish.
I bought a Rainbow Six Siege account from the seller ZowieStore. Months later, the seller recovered the account, exactly the same scheme that keeps appearing in his negative reviews: he sells it, waits some time, and then takes the account back. There is clear proof of this in the store's own reviews, all describing the same pattern. And the seller? He keeps selling as if nothing happened.
I presented everything I had: proof on R6Tracker, screenshots, logs, access history… everything. The fraud was obvious.
Even so, G2G refused to help, using the excuse that the "insurance period" had expired. In other words, it doesn't matter if the seller is a repeat scammer, if the time runs out, you're on your own. A system completely blind to the risk and misconduct of the sellers they host.
And now comes the most serious part.
After I left my review on Trustpilot, G2G replied publicly saying that the case had been decided in my favor and that they had already issued the refund as Store Credit.
This is completely false.
I did not receive any refund. I opened a ticket to clarify, and they closed it with the same excuse as before, pretending they never said anything in their public response. In other words: they say something nice in public to look like they solve problems, but in practice they do absolutely nothing.
The seller is still active. He continues to steal accounts. The negative reviews keep piling up. And G2G not only refuses to punish the seller, but also tries to give the impression that they resolve situations when they don't.
The warning is clear:
If you have a serious problem with a scammer seller, even with solid evidence, G2G would rather protect the seller and lie publicly than help the customer.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND G2G. I HAVE BOUGHT FROM OTHER SITES THAT ARE MUCH FAIRER AND MORE RELIABLE THAN G2G!
Refusing to help with a seller who has now provided not 1 but 2 fake wow game time cards even though I've open a problem with transaction and not finished it
G2G support is honestly the worst I've seen throughout the history of Internet.
I've been going back and forth with their team for a measly 1 euro that they just refuse to refund to my G2G store balance.
Every day I have a different agent, most of these agents can't read the thread and I have to repeat myself ten times.
I've shared video recordings and proofs that I OPENED A CASE TO GET A REFUND IMMEDIATELY UPON HAVING ISSUES WITH THE SELLER - they still try to claim that I could have redeem a replacement code.

Not, the sellers response here is also fake. They CAN investigate with the information provided here. They keep chat logs, and I mentioned the actual offenders. They also do nothing to fix the reviews. I've already opened withs with G2G support and they do nothing about it, hence the "G2G allows this." Fake listings... G2G allows this. You cannot review the sellers, unless you complete the order, another words, the item is delivered to you. So, basically here is what happening.
You buy something, then the seller realizes he underpriced, or realizes he can sell for more, so they either 1) just do not respond to you and wait for you to cancel, or 2) you cancel. Either way, you cannot review the seller. Some of the Sellers that are doing this is DionysusGod, MangoGame, and FutureNP. The only resolution is to fix it so all sellers can be reviewed AFTER THE TIME OF PURCHASE, NOT AFTER DELIVERY. After further review and attempting to purchase other gold from the same game, I found out these sellers are posting FAKE currency orders in order to "test" how much interest there is, and how much they can get. I got one seller to admit as much. G2G allows this activity. G2G will respond to this and ask to create a ticket, but they will do nothing about it. They will continue to allow this activity and they will continue to not let you review a seller until they deliver the goods.

The worst company for gamers, seller refuse to deliver items, they refuse to reply to messages, when you cancel they are in control of your money for 48 hours, they get to decide whether you get it back or not. Stay clear of this place. The seller is *, stay away from this people.

After buying from g2g there have been attempts to hack several of my accounts. G2G has done nothing but suggest I change my passwords. Great advice to give someone you're attempting to rob. Seller on their site is still active with 100% positive rating after reviewing and reporting fraud.

We only take business opportunities from products that we have not yet reached because our shop is open 24 hours to provide maximum service to customers. We saw that there was a TikTok coin product on g2g and we found out how to sell it on youtube, tiktok, and google, That the only way to sell tiktok coins is to log into the buyer's account which then we are confused about whether g2g allows such products to be sold/added.
A week later we still saw the product still on g2g. Then we participated in selling it, two weeks later we felt bad because to top up TikTok coins the only way was to log in to the buyer's account and top up on TikTok's legal site (official tiktok site). We felt this was very risky that's is when we removed the product in our store at g2g 3-5 days ago. However, it was g2g itself that convicted us of committing a violation. This would sound funny if it went to court.

Don't answer mails, seller doesn't say shit and when he does he just does it so that you don't think it's a scam, he then doesn't say anything for another 3 weeks. Placed an order so much time ago and still didn't get anything and it was more than 150euros. You can't get refunded cuz you get only store credits they don't get you the money back even if you don't receive the order. So practically. You pay and if the seller doesn't deliever they say.
