This company did to me what all the others are saying here, I clicked NO on the additional products they offered and only agreed to a $39 (30 day money back guarantee) trial of their app/meal plan. They charged my card an additional $249 for the "X-Ccelerate bundle" that I know I did not buy. When I contacted the company for a refund, they said they could not give it to me because "I agreed to their Terms of Conditions." What a crock of $#*!! I didn't agree to any terms except those associated with the 30 day trial. I cancelled the trial and they have not credit me back my $39 either. I contacted my credit card company and they are disputing the charges and putting a block on my card for recurrent charges. Hopefully I get a refund!
I agreed to $78 charge. Then i checked my bank account and i was charged three separate transactions ($98, $151.01, and $88.94) totaling over $337! I contacted G-plans and they said "sorry you feel that way - its non refundable" - never received anything. Also they misspelled words in the emails back and forth. RUN AWAYYYY FROM THESE PEOPLE! DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! SCAM!
Don't use this company. They get you to buy a 39.00 menu plan and then they bill your card 288.00 for the year. It is non refundable and the menus can be found in any magazine. They are crooked and misleading. I will never recommend this company. Bait and switchers!
They don't let you cancel through the app and when you call they don't pick up and say they're busy.
I subscribed over a year and a half ago and then attempted to cancel 3 times via email and when it finally went thru I asked for a refund despite having proof that I emailed them numerous times, yet they issued no refund. Complete rip-offs
I signed up not realizing that it was a terribly under-developed app, and when i went to cancel it required me to call them. I've been trying to call them for 2 weeks now. They are always "too busy" make you leave a message - one time I called three times cause when leaving a message I got disconnected. You are required to call to cancel and can never get through... wonder why... if you can't get ahold of them, they can keep taking your money... SCAM, AVOID!
I signed up online for a $38 single fee service level. Within a day, I was charged in additional $250 for subscription based services and related products I did not register for. I am currently disputing those charges through my credit card company as well as attempting to resolve with G plan via email as no one has picked up any of the telephone calls I have made nor returned the voicemails calls. At this point we are I have received an email saying I did register for subscription services and supplement products that I did not sign up for.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY - they scammed me out of my money for things I opted out of, and they keep insisting that I purchased. I initially thought I was purchasing a plan that was $39 and then I realized they had charged my bank account $288 for stuff I opted out of! Inmediately reached out and they took a week to get back to me via email just to tell me that it was non-refundable! Total scam and fraudulent! Do not fall for this scam!
I took a survey based on a marketing scheme to try them for a month at $39. They tried to charge me much more. I got a fraud alert form my credit card company but accepted charges thinking it was a large charge but the actual charge would reflect (as happens sometimes at gas stations and such).
Since then, I have gotten 3-4 charges from this company, none for $39. When trying to agree to their $39 ploy, they make you go through 3-4 screens of other much larger costs for yearly plans and other options totaling in the hundreds, not $40. You have to scroll all the way down on both to find tiny letters that let you opt out. I did this on every page and am now somehow being told I signed up for a yearly plan at a rate even higher than the screens sold it for. When I reached out to the company the day the first charge went through, I was told there are no refund for drastically reduced yearly plans. When I told them they must have something wrong as I signed up for one thing, they ignored me. This company uses ridiculous marketing ploys to sell something for much more than advertised. Do not believe them!
Total fraud, you think you're signing for a $39 app and the charged $288! Furthermore they charge for other items I did NOT sign up for and was charge over $500! I reached out to the company when
I saw the charges requesting a refund for ALL services expressing that I did not sign up for these services. They denied the refund. Total fraud.
Saw their ad on IG, advertised one price but after your card gets charged your bill is $288. Apparently, the bundle they supposedly discounted you have to pay for upfront for a year, if you upgrade you can not get a refund despite their ad stating refund if you are not fully satisfied no questions asked, couldn't use the app, customer service is horrible... tried to offer me free cookbooks when I wanted to cancel... highly upset. False advertising scam. I reported them to the BBB, and currently disputing the charges on my credit card.
This company is a scam! They make you think you're getting one thing and then start charging your account with items you never agreed to or wanted. They refuse to make it right and will not refund any money. Even my bank recognized them as a scam thankfully and stopped the $151 charge I never approved. Awful awful awful - I can't believe they are legally allowed to operate this way.
This is a complete scam- they don't offer a real service and they exist specifically to force you into a transaction you don't want then dispute it
I thought I signed up for a $39 program but was charged a total of $288. I had no idea that was what I was being charged. You did not have an option to confirm you order. I immediately got in touch after receiving a receipt via email within minutes. I was given a runaround story and repetitive comments via many emails. I was told my subscription would be canceled but I still had to pay $288. I am in the process of filing with the BBB and FTC and am going to dispute with my credit card. Their customer service is horrible but I can tell that is what they are trained to do. I would be interested to find out if any of the many, many customers who are in this same position got an actual refund from this company.
Well, I signed up. Turns out you can't set your password, field is whited out. Went to the app and tried to reset there. Not possible. Managed to get a password reset just to get the following message. Looks like a scam. How do I cancel? Customer service doesn't answer
Watch out buyers! I signed up for g-plans app and added some of their upsell items for the 3-month plan. To ensure I didn't incur autonew fees, I immediately went into my iphone settings and cancelled autonew because we all know how those sneak up on you! Fast forward, I'm now receiving emails from g-plan trying to charge me $160 for a renewal that I DID NOT agree to. Their rep is not listening to what I'm saying about not signing up and keeps trying to give a free month to make it more palatable. At this point we haven't resolved it but I did have my credit card company decline the charges. In my view, they are running a very scammy operation. Their product is mediocre at best and they have many hidden ways they try to keep you on the hook. I would definitely not recommend g-plan for their lack of transparency on financials alone.
I have signed up, and they started charging me twice a month. I can't cancel because I get a message. I can only cancel on the phone, given number only responds with a message that someone will. Get back to me. Guess what that's a lie too.
Don't do it! They trick you and over charge. Also, it takes months to get your supplements! Not to mention their customer service SUCKS! Good luck getting a response or help!
I attempted to purchase one month for $20. Within one hour I was charged $290. I was not able to receive direct support help. When I called was not able to reach a person but only to leave a message that was never returned.
I paid for the $39.00 version to check it out, then a second later $98.00 rings through THEN $151... OMG so I locked the card as the charges are pending - My card is my Paypal M/C... I am hoping this will stop it all and I am going to call Paypal tomorrow... I will then start a case. Went to the BBB and started seeing all the bad reviews OMG... and I ended up here as well - This is not acceptable, this is fraud and theft~ SCUMBAGS STEALING money apparently.
Answer: Agreed! Very POOR customer service. Nice but dumb. I haven't gotten to the refund stage yet... will let you know how that goes...
Answer: I'm going to file in small claims just for the principle.
Answer: That's exactly the same problem I found. Their response was the packaged meals meet diabetic guidelines. But, that means you have to spend more money to buy their packaged meals. More money? What a concept. It's deceptive from the beginning. I can't believe nobody's sued them. There should be a class action suit against them. This is the first time I personally have run into a company that has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. They have been rejected by the Better Business Bureau. You've got to be pretty bad to get to that point.
