Do not fall for their "free-trial" because they will not allow any cancellations. They won't answer your emails, your calls and your chat messages. BUT, they will very quickly delete social media posts you tag them in or negative comments you make on their Instagram and Facebook. They are super efficient in deleting and blocking you, in a matter of minutes to be exact!
BEWARE!
This is a garbage service. The app is terrible, it's overpriced, and when you try and cancel they tell you you have call them, no one is available so they make you leave a voicemail... God only knows how long it will take to end this service. They use a fake timer on their website to make you rush through the payment and not read any fine print. The recipes are generic and there's not much you can do to customize your plan if you have allergies or sensitivities that aren't standard. I can't believe I fell for this s#$&
Don't do it! I have left multiple voicemails trying to cancel with no return calls and you are required to call in to cancel
I made the mistake of signing on to this plan then very unfortunately read the reviews last. They charged my card without my permission on the food they have which said I had 24 hrs to confirm. I didn't confirm but they first charged me shipping then sent the food. I did not authorize either. I called four times so far and no one ever calls back so I could not cancel my account and the food. Very unprofessional company. Good thing I have a good credit card company that understood and reversed the charges. Please don't be a fool like I was trusting this company. My charges are on my statement for Gplan...10.99 & 39.00
I am such a fool as I always check reviews however I didn't this time. This has been a horrible experience and please know when you get in you will need your attorney to get you out! VALI
I was very skeptical. Who has ever heard of a metabolic type? Not me. My only complaint would be the "free meal box". While the first one is free, in the fine print it shows that if you accept that free box, you are automatically signing up for recurring delivery of the boxes, as well as a recurring payment to be deducted for them. I found out the hard way and was not happy. Before I had a chance to even start the plan I wanted to cancel. I was livid. I called to cancel and reached someone immediately. He canceled the meal boxes immediately no questions asked. He then offered a crazy low monthly price for my meal plan (which is reflecting on my bank statements)
I have learned that on the weeks I am not able to stick to the plan very well (life gets a little busy sometimes) those are the weeks I see no improvement on my weight loss, and sometimes even gain. I can't explain it, but eating 5-7 times per day, the foods that are laid out in my plan, it really does work! I am down 10 pounds already and I just started this about a month and a half ago!
Before G-Plans, I was eating healthy, going to the gym at least 4 times a week, drinking water. Everything that I know to do. Yeah I was getting stronger, but I was not losing fat or weight. In about a month and a half of eating more and sticking to the plan, I am at 10 lbs down and counting.
I see a lot of negative reviews but I am experiencing quite the opposite and I would highly recommend this plan to anyone looking to lose weight, or just eat healthier according to your metabolic type in general. I honestly don't feel deprived of anything. There are so many foods that I eat that are "forbidden" on other meal plans. Bottom line, if you read the fine print you dont get surprised by a charge, and if you stick to the plan, you will see results pretty quickly.
What seemed to have been a worthwhile use of time, effort and money quickly fizzled into frustration. Do not download anything and stay far away. There is no customer support.
Would give negative stars if I could. They hide all the extra charges in their fine print so you think your total cost is one thing but you are actually agreeing to plan upgrades and meal deliveries and back out fees if you don't continue with their meal delivery service. I thought my total was $97 ended up being charged another $40, $75 and $60. Absolutely appalled by this company. Zero ethics stay far far far away. Plus the meal plan sucks it's the same 8 recipes cycled through and always oatmeal for breakfast and fruit and nuts as a snack.
I bought an upgraded plan, they don't properly give you the overall cost so when I was billed it's 39$ plus the plan $97 for the year. When I was checking out it said only $97 for the year! I argued this to them, and got no where with their customer service.
Next their "30" day money back only applies if you get the one month program (not repeated) and many terms apply so basically their 30 MONEY BACK is a joke, not applicable to 90% of their products just used as a tool for marketing to make you think you have options if it doesn't work, which you don't!
Also it's a USD company so everything was charged up begging CAD!
DONT BUY save your money the app is basically a glorified cookbook
If you have a pro account. You need to cancel it on the phone. PROBLEM IS, THEY DONT ANSWER THE PHONE. YOU'RE STUCK PAYING $39 FOR LIFE AT THIS POINT.
Currently still figuring out how to cancel the plan -.-
I filled out all the great questions and before knew it they had me signed up for a $200 subscription that didn't even want! I cancelled it immediately 10 min later and never used the service. Tried to dispute it and was denied. Steer clear of this scamming company!
This company does not speak to you. They only email and very poorly at that. They don't give refunds even after you cancel and ask them to please stop charging your account.
Don't be fooled by their spiel, it's a bunch of crap. They also imply refunds in 30 days but that's only for a monthly subscription, and try to rush you into a yearly one on a timer - like I said, tricky and underhanded. The food came in a torn up nasty box all melted, it was all just BAD! I have nothing good to say and would give ZERO stars if I could!
Gave it a try, not my thing. Tried to cancel it, but it seems difficult. The cancel option in the app is not working, they want me to call them, which is ridiculous. The chat is useless, it's just some robot giving automated answers. Now I'm trying to cancel via email, they keep sending new offers even though I think I've made it clear that I just want to cancel the damn thing.
The company keeps sending food that I haven't ordered and it keeps charging my account. I have repeated tried to cancel my subscription. I have repeatedly sent emails to *******@g-plans.com which they apparently do not read. The meals have a very high carb count for a diabetic which I didn't know until I signed up. I tried to cancel about 2 hours after I subscribed only to be given excuse after excuse from "Larry" as to why he cannot give me a refund. DO NOT join!
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO TALK TO ANYONE WITH THIS COMPANY. I was thinking about trying this so put my debit card and count not get untangled from this site. They told me I had 10 "free" meals-- I had to only pay for shipping. The next thing I know they said I had agreed to buy a plan. $175 later I had to ask my bank for a new debit card because I could not get these people to stop charging me. Very frustrating!
If you get the "bare minimum", all you are actually paying for are recipes which did not work for me at all. After that it is a slippery slope with no recourse after "they" consider that you have agreed to something.
I signed up ignorantly thinking this was just about a diet plan that would help me kickstart my healthy lifestyle. Little did I know they were going to charge me upfront, ignore my messages, not answer their phone, not answer their "customer support chat" and send me on a roundabout way to cancel this subscription. I will just be blocking this with my bank so they cannot continue to charge my account. This is ridiculous and I feel really dumb for trying to choose something good for myself.
Lost 20 pounds in three weeks but there was a hefty price I paid. Got sick. I regret it. Please talk to your doctor before starting any diet.
Joined the full plan on Jan. 28th, 2023 at a cost of $417. READ THE FINE PRINT OF THE POLICY. I decided within TWO Days that the plan wasn't what I expected. Sent them a notice to cancel my account, which they acknowledged. How-SOME-EVER, NO REFUNDS! So I am out $417 after receiving NOTHING!. This company is a gigantic RIP-OFF and I intend to take out my $417 on them in BAD PUBLICITY. But I guess that won't make any difference because their ratings are already in the TOILET! STAY AWAY! I've never dealt with such a SLEAZEBAG OF COMPANY!
113 -1 star reviews compared to 2 -5 star reviews and that's just on this site...These people are unreal and bait and switch shysters! After fraudulently charging me $239.00, they refused to refund me minutes after the transaction went through...saying the annual membership doesn't adhere to their 100% money back guarantee.only their 30 day membership is covered by that...I mean does that make sense to anyone out there? After reading reviews here & on Yelp, The BBB & a number opf other sites, I see i am not alone. What gets me is the gall of this company to think they can keep getting away with ripping people off. I have contacted my bank, closed that credit card so they can't try and charge me again & had them do a chargeback. I intend to reprint this on as many review sites I can find. They need to be shut down!
Answer: Agreed! Very POOR customer service. Nice but dumb. I haven't gotten to the refund stage yet... will let you know how that goes...
Answer: I'm going to file in small claims just for the principle.
Answer: That's exactly the same problem I found. Their response was the packaged meals meet diabetic guidelines. But, that means you have to spend more money to buy their packaged meals. More money? What a concept. It's deceptive from the beginning. I can't believe nobody's sued them. There should be a class action suit against them. This is the first time I personally have run into a company that has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. They have been rejected by the Better Business Bureau. You've got to be pretty bad to get to that point.
