Sam, scam, de scam.scam scam scam scam scam scam scam scam scam scam scam scam scam scam scam scammers
Upon receipt of their materials I instantly knew that this program was not for me I canceled immediately but they charged me $117 and said it was non-refundable. Although I had no interest in the meals, they sent me a "free" box (which I refused delivery on) and charged me a $59 "break up fee" for not continuing with 4 weeks of meals. These people will stop at nothing to trick you out of your money. RUN!
This company is a scam! Do not do business with this company! I have tried to call, email, chat for a refund and to cancel with no sucess!
This is a scam! The meal plan changes every time you open the app, no one answers the phone lines, there is no money back guarantee, they charge you for things you didn't buy, and claim the terms say no refunds.
I have no way to reach them! Dont join! I did trial and was charged immediately instead of after certain amount of time
Personally I found the app very helpful, I eat a lot of different new things I was not used to and I am slowly but steadily losing weight, at the speed they predicted - no idea how they do it, but it works! Yes, it's pricey and yes, sometimes the whole thing looks doggy, and their customer service is non-existent, but I decided to take a leap of faith and it was worth it! I have been on tons of diets in my life, this is so far my favourite!
Read the sign up carefully. They have a check mark on the form that says it will be billed monthly. I got ill when I joined and they kept emailing me and kept emailing back asking to postpone till I was better. I did not use the program at all and they said online that they will refund the one payment but not the first payment. Now days $40 is lots of money to everyone. SCAM SCAM Scam. Companies that turn it into monthly billing are scammers and just make $40 dollars for nothing at all. I think I have learned my lesson. Now. Will call my credit card company for the first $40 and see what happens
I specified in the beginning questionnaire that I was a diabetic, but nothing in the initial meal plans was compatible with a diabetic diet. The only way that you could get access to a diabetic meal plan was to purchase time with a counselor at $50 a pop, excuse me 49, I don't wanna be in accurate. When I questioned them on it, I was told the plan that I purchased was nonrefundable, and I was also told that there was a meal plan that was prepackaged that was compatible with the diabetic diet. This, of course meant that I had to buy all of my food from them, and not purchase and cook my own foods. In other words, I had to buy their processed food. No thanks everything with them was more money. More money more money. This is not a diet plan, it's a scam. Shame on them for trying to scam. The people who need the help the most. Don't buy from them. The fact that they have a 1.1 rating should tell you something. On their site they only post five point ratings, and I know that they have less than five point ratings because I wrote several. They only show the positive and they never show an evenhanded report of what people say. Anyone who only shows five point ratings and never shows any of the negative should be questioned from the beginning. Don't do business with these people. Somewhere in the beginning, they may have had a good idea, but they're only in it for the money now in my opinion. I'm going to try and find a lawyer that is willing to take them on. I will also report them to the Better Business Bureau.
I signed up for the G-plans online on May 22 after seeing an ad on Instagram. It offered a 7 days trial, 30 days money-back guarantee, and easy steps to cancel anytime; it also said I would get reminders before my trial ended. On day 7, I got no reminders and was charged $117.00. I never downloaded the app and just wanted to cancel the service. I followed the account cancelation steps in my settings, and it did not let me go; it prompted me to call the customer service number. I called several times, and the answer was always a prerecorded message directing me to their chatbox that would only answer generic questions. I also sent multiple emails until Leah Cady answered and said she was available in the chatbox (guessing this is the name of their AI).
She canceled my account but said I will not get refunded because I signed up for a 'a 3 months bundle.'
I have a screenshot of my order summary showing $0.00 and the total I would pay if I continued the plan after the trial ($39.00). This will match the G-Plans Pro Plan Guarantee, per their terms and conditions operates as follow 'Our Pro plan comes with a 30 day, money back guarantee. If you try our G-plans application as a Pro user and decide it is not for you, you can simply cancel within the first 30 days and get a full $39 refund by calling the G-Plans support team at *******009.'
However, they sent me a receipt for $0.00 charges for a '3 months plan', and on cancelation day, they charged my credit card for $117.00.
There was never a menu showing service options. The plan they offered me said I would lose weight in less than 30 days, so why would I select something I don't need?
This company refuses to adhere to the guaranteed money-back terms and conditions and provides me with a refund. They make it difficult to unsubscribe from their services and have no problem taking your money while delivering NO solutions. They lie and operate as a scam, luring people to their website and app, collecting financial information, and forcing customer payments after requests for cancelations and refunds.
Do not subscribe to G-Plans; report them as scammers on every social media and the Better Business Bureau.
I should have read the SCAM reviews before I made an impulse purchase from their IG ad.
I only purchased a report (single charge), but once they had my credit card, I saw they charged me for the works. 5xs more than I authorized. Then I could not reach them to correct the error or cancel the unauthorized subscription. I had to report fraud with my bank and close my credit card to stop further charges.
Liar and a thief. That platform waited almost a month to reply and pretended to be a legitimate merchant when that was false. Steal money and claim plans do not allow for a refund. Does not display its refund, return, or exchange conspicuously on the website.
A scam using a ruse to take people's money unfairly. Online fraud falls under a weight control center.
Ok, so I became caught up in the spiel, but before I pressed the process button, I looked to see if this was a one time purchase or a subscription. They did not mention anything regarding any ongoing charges...until after the process button was clicked and THEN they tell you about ongoing charges and jump start fees. I promptly cancelled my account. If you cannot be transparent regarding fees/charges, then we cannot do business. Of course when you go to cancel, they run you around stating that you cannot cancel online but you have to call, and once you call they tell you that waiting times are longer than usual and then switch you to a message bot. Stay away from this company.
I joined on May 3,2023. Tried to cancel within hours. No contact support. App is very poor. It took 3 weeks to get someone to reply so I could cancel. They charged me $437.77 for nothing. I never agreed to receive 5 meals a week. Tried and tried to cancel. No response Fraud. Food was awful. They want to keep my money. No refund. Then charge me $59 to cancel. Never agreed to any of this Regina Farmer
First off they offer a free trial week and then when you cancel they try to get you with a 59 dollar cancelation fee. They are terrible. I couldn't even choke one meal down. Also neither one of my dogs would eat a piece of the chicken. Pretty much tossed the whole meal in the garbage along with the rest of the unopened meals. Wife asked if we should give them away. I refused to do that to anyone. Also she ended up having to cancel her bank card as it wasn't possible to contact them. The number just kept saying no one was available and when she tried to contact them on line no one called back. If I could rate this company and their meals at minus 5 stars, that's what I would do. In my opinion this is a scam.
They promise a lot of things. The menu is not bad but has terrible customer service. Available 7 days a week only if you want to text to a bot that never answers the question. Then after frustrating request ions and no answer they tell you someone will get back to you (you can hear the crickets). They get you with sneaky costs. Have a one on one counselor (nope). In name only as she does not respond to you either
Terrible terrible
I wish I had looked at the reviews for the company before buying into anything. I only purchase a $39 app and next thing I know I'm being sent bad food products and being billed for a Pro Plan. There is zero customer support as they will never allow you to speak with anyone nor do they respond to any emails or chats. This is all ran by AI which is useless when a customer is trying to get information. Horrible Horrible Horrible, did I say Horrible.
I was offered to buy one book, but just a minute later after paying for the book they charged me with annual fee for some weight loss plan!? I never agreed to that. I disputed charges to my bank, but never got back funds. It was on My 17.2022. This year on the same date they are charging my credit card again even though I locked the card because of them. I am disputing charges again, I am so angry at them and my bank too. They are criminals, never responded to may cancellation or request to refund funds.
Took online quiz, after which it made sense to sign up for 1 month at £19.50 for the results.
However - immediately I saw £33 debit from my account.
So I tried to contact G-plans 24 hr customer service, only to be told via a "bot" that they only answer certain pre-written questions. ( none of which are about overcharges).
Literally 5 minutes into trying to get past the 'bot' another £90 was debited from my account.
I then tried to call their helpline - based in the USA, but it never answered.
So I then looked at the GPlan app and they had put me onto a $156 monthly account. No I did not ask for nor did I sign up for that!
So I did as much as I could in their app - paused the subscription.
I then phoned my cc company and have raised a complaint.
This company ' G-Plans ' is an absolute SCAM.

Only $39.99 for one month. Hey, here is a deal of one week's worth of food for free, just pay $10.99 for shipping and handling. Great, I'll do that. Then about 5 or so days later I get charged 75.94 for my next week of meals. This is when I realized how sneaky these thieves are. Money back guarenteed no questions asked. You just need to go to app and hit cancel. LIE! When I tried to cancel on app it said since I signed up for the Pro Plan you need to call. I went to call, but they are only open for calls Mon.-Fri 9-5 PST. I tried calling and it said "we are busier than usual for faster service please try our chat function on app." I tried chat app and it said someone usually responds within two hours. HAHAHA! It was over a week until I heard a response from chat saying if I wanted to cancel my meal plan it meant I was ending my 4 week commitment early and would have to pay $59 to cancel. So again, I tried to call and chat and email to cancel my subscription and ask about the $59 fee.
Today after about 2 weeks of trying, someone finally emailed me, but only after I sent my complaint to the BBB. Albert's response was…
Email response below:
Hello Albert here with G-Plans again. The terms and conditions in the meal delivery sign up is as follows:
By accepting the "free box" offer of five (5) free meals,
You agree to a commitment of 4 following weeks of
Food delivery at regular price of $12.99 per meal ($64.95
For a box of five meals) and a $10.99 shipping and
Handling fee per week to cover the food & safety
Regulations and sustainability packaging. Cancel at
Any time, however cancellation before the 4 week
Term will incur a $59 "break up" fee. Cancellation after the 4 week paid period will have no fee.
I hope this helps please feel free to respond with any questions and or concerns.
I asked him to please screen shot a pic or tell me where I can find the meal plan terms and conditions.
I told him it had to be in very very fine print. It was not under their regular terms and conditions.
I am currently waiting for his response to show me where I agreed. I probably did somehow, it just was unknowingly and through deceptive advertising.
This entire plan is a joke. And don't believe what you read about getting a full refund. I was told I have to pay $59 to cancel prior to my commitment of "free meals". Complete and utter fraudulent activity. I will be disputing the charges with my credit card and getting my money back from this joke of a plan.
Answer: Agreed! Very POOR customer service. Nice but dumb. I haven't gotten to the refund stage yet... will let you know how that goes...
Answer: I'm going to file in small claims just for the principle.
Answer: That's exactly the same problem I found. Their response was the packaged meals meet diabetic guidelines. But, that means you have to spend more money to buy their packaged meals. More money? What a concept. It's deceptive from the beginning. I can't believe nobody's sued them. There should be a class action suit against them. This is the first time I personally have run into a company that has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. They have been rejected by the Better Business Bureau. You've got to be pretty bad to get to that point.
