Do not use this company. Spent $300 and got 10 meals, 1 doctor visit and thats it. No perscription, never could make the follow up appoiintment after I got lab work done. Scam!
First, really bad professionals are the ones giving yo advise … they call you more than 3 times asking the same questions and then they deny you the medicine.""they send you a really bad quality and ugly food and when you want to get rid of the service us almiar imposible
Wasted almost $700 and they refused to refund anything! DO NOT sign anything w G Plans unless you just want to throw money away. They are running a SCAM!
I filled out the questionnaire and ultimately decided I didn't want to spend money on the product... After that I was BOMBARDED with promoting emails that kept offering progressively more free incentives and guaranteeing success. I finally accepted on the premise of "a week of free chef prepared meals & a free meal plan"
Okay... so I join and discover that apparently, to G-Plans, 5 meals is enough food for an entire week! EVEN THOUGH they blast me with emails telling me how important it is to eat enough. Sure. I tried poking around the site and could not even tell when my free trial would end, but DID discover that once it did I would be charged $130+ PER MONTH! I asked the bot to tell me my subscription details and it said 5 months but "NA" on my billing date.
I then noticed that the "free meals" wouldn't ship for almost 10 days, so I reached out to customer support to find out if I would even be able to try the meals before my free trial ended (1 week, not 5 months). The answer is not only will I begin paying $130+/mo BEFORE I can try the meals, but they were going to send 4 more meals at full price (about $70) in order for me to receive the 5 free meals. At NO point did G-Plans communicate this - it required me reaching out directly to support for something else and coincidentally finding out! EXTREMELY SHADY and I will be reporting this to the BBB.
The only positive is a half positive because when you try for customer support through the app, you end up talking to a bot and can only use pre-determined communications... You have to insist on speaking to a real person and it took them 3 days to respond to me. However, once I got that reply the representative was actually very helpful - made me aware of the charges & helped me cancel everything before I was charged.
I tried program twice and both times I gained weight. Customer service doesn't exist. No one answers the phone and you have to use the chat service which takes 24-48 hours to respond. They don't tell you the yearly subscription is non refundable. Very deceptive. Buyers you have been warned.
Absolute SCAM. Signing into the app an ad came up for meal plans. I took the quick and at the end of the quiz I was automatically signed up for meal plans. I did not get to choose the meals - 5 chicken meals that I paid around $15 for shipping. The meals were "free" but if I cancelled after getting the meals I would be charged $59. Here's the kicker - I had NO information about this until I tried to cancel the plan. Why did I cancel? Let's start with I never even wanted the free meals. I had no idea taking the quiz would sign me up for the meals and I had no idea what the ongoing cost would be. The meals arrived in 2 weeks (that was odd right?). They are not frozen but "refrigerated" meals. Bad call. They arrived and box was super super damp. Opened it up and the frozen packs inside were almost entirely defrosted. I heated one meal and It smelled a little off. Tasted the chicken and vegetables and they tasted like chicken and veges that had been boiled until every ounce of taste that was ever there was soaked out of them - then they added pepper hahahahaha. Seriously - boil veges to the point of mush, rinse pack them in a little water and then put a little pepper on them. Holy crap - that was the WORST tasting food I've ever had in my life. I'm not being funny - my dog wouldn't eat that. So I try to cancel online but its not an option. I have to call. It says "Don't worry this is a no pressure call". FIrst thing they do is try to get me to sign up for more of that nasty food (which I will be disposing of on garbage day - no way I'm attempting to eat that, it doesn't even smell right). Then she tells me I owe $59 for cancelling after receiving my free meals. Then she goes on to defend them and I asked her if she ever actually tasted one of these meals? Nope. I asked her where I would actually get to choose future meals and/or shouldn't that be something I saw before getting herded into this unwanted free meal sample box anyway? No pictures of the food anywhere... no idea what the future options could be. Just the absolute WORST experience it could have been. And a defensive unhelpful customer service agent to top it all off. RUN do not walk AWAY from this company. They should be embarrassed. What an absolute scam.
Just wanted to provide update. I filed dispute and fraud charges with my credit card company. They contacted G-plan and all money is being credited back to my account. I canceled current card so they could not continue to charge me.
Very sad that it had to come to this. My advice: don't do it, but if it's too late, involve your credit card company to get your money back.
Within an hours of signing up for g-plan, I had second thoughts and canceled everything. I was told it had all been canceled via chat since no human EVER answers customer service. I was charged $12.99,129.00 and 229.00. I was refunded $12.99 and that's it.
Octavia told me they would not refund me any money.
I never even even had a consult with MD or received any product. They stole from me and then told me to "have an amazing day." I'm disgusted! Why is this ok? I repeat RUN!
To say this company sucks is a understatement. They ship food in packaging and product thawed and warm. All of the boxes were soaked from being wet They never answer there phones and hide behind texting and BOTS.
The food was supposed to come in frozen an here is a picture of product squished on top of each other.
They are absolute thieves.
This place over charges for the plan and continues to charge ur card even after you have canceled! They have continued to charge even after emailing submitting a cancellation online and chatting with there support. Very upset with them and there service!
Save yourself. This scam is an endless loop or "I'm sorry that happened, let me reschedule you in 2 weeks" which is always the next billing cycle. You never speak with a doctor, you never get the medication, no one ever answers.
I paid my initial fee and then I had made an appointment to get my Rx and had to pay for the Rx. However after a less than 5 minute conversation with the Dr, she said I don't qualify. I tried to get my money back and they said I can't. I can't get the prescription yet I have to pay for it. They are refusing to reimburse me the $229 for the Rx as well as the $297 for the 3 month program which is unless since I can't get the Rx
I stupidly signed up for this plan. The following day I cancelled because I finally was informed how much the medicine in. Guess what, NO REFUND. I called the credit card to block the company. If there was an option for zero stars I would choose that.
Box of food arrives broken with contents spilling out and expiring in the heat. You can't simply cancel online. Couldn't get in touch with customer service rep to cancel for 2 weeks. She refused to cancel my subscription and kept offering other options. I've now finally canceled but continue to receive boxes and get charged. Biggest scam I've ever met.
Once you sign up, there's NO WAY to cancel. It's all based off AI and you cannot get out of it. You'll need to cancel your credit card in order to get anywhere. SO FRUSTRATING
This is a terrible company, don't give them money, before paying them the system said I was a good candidate, after payment, they said I wasn't a good candidate. I asked them to cancel 5 minutes after I signed up and they are trying to refund me just part of my money.
Horrible customer service and fraudulent advertising.
Paid for the trial and they tricked me with a "one-time" offer to upgrade, so I did. Well once you upgrade, your money becomes non-refundable but they dont tell you that. So when I downloaded the program and the app didnt work, I tried to get a refund the very next day, they wouldnt because it's in their policy, how convenient. But HEY, they gave me an extra month free so that I can NOT use the app for an extra month.
The app freezes, crashes, and cuts off numbers. As shown in the photo, I only eight 15 lbs and am 2% body fat. Wow!
It is confusing. You can not get a live person. They trick you into a prescription. It is impossible to cancel. I tried to cancel within hours after trying. Eventually they offered 30% back. On $198, that is not acceptable. It was horrible.
Its completely rip off. I had 1 bill of £244.00 i was told i can pay the bill in diffrent payment but then they cut my phone off. I am self employed and lost
Ots of work. So i have increase my data but still receiving bills of 95 to 120 pounds x months...SCAMMMMMMMM
I attempted to cancel within 24 hours because app was so difficult to navigate and was confusing. I paid nearly $800 and am told I will receive $12.99 back. WTH?!
They have stopped responding to my inquiries, it seems…
I have contacted my credit card company to dispute charges
Answer: Agreed! Very POOR customer service. Nice but dumb. I haven't gotten to the refund stage yet... will let you know how that goes...
Answer: I'm going to file in small claims just for the principle.
Answer: That's exactly the same problem I found. Their response was the packaged meals meet diabetic guidelines. But, that means you have to spend more money to buy their packaged meals. More money? What a concept. It's deceptive from the beginning. I can't believe nobody's sued them. There should be a class action suit against them. This is the first time I personally have run into a company that has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. They have been rejected by the Better Business Bureau. You've got to be pretty bad to get to that point.
