I unfortunately had to be out of town for my anniversary and decided to order flowers through FTD. I wanted to surprise my wife on the day of our anniversary. They guaranteed delivery by 6:00PM and at 4:22PM on our anniversary day I get an email with the following:
"We're sorry, but despite our best efforts, we are unable to deliver your order on the date you initially requested for LXXX MXXXXX.
We understand how important your order is, and care deeply about your experience. We would like to offer you the following options:
*Deliver my order at the next available date:
We can still deliver your order within the next 3 days with a $10 refund applied to your order
* Cancel my order and refund me in full:

WHAT A DEAL AND WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! DELIVER MY ORDER WITHIN 3 DAYS AND GET A WHOPPING $10 SAVINGS ON OVERPRICED FLOWERS (WOW). AND REALLY...WITHIN 3 DAYS. GLAD THEY HAD SUCH A SENSE OF URGENCY TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM.
I will be home before they will be able to deliver so I will go to a reputable florist and have a fresh bouquet of flowers done so I know they are fresh and as advertised (as many people complain of poor quality flowers delivered by FTD) and will be much less than the premium I paid.

Ordered item for my wife just as a surprise. Website said same day delivery. So I ordered item. Got confirmation email. Then about 3 hours later get email saying they could not fulfill my order. To reply back that they could in the next 3 days or I could cancel the order. I replied cancel the order as my wife was not going to be home. Then they call saying they found a florist to make it and would be able to get out that day. I said wonderful that will work. When I got home around 7pm nothing there. Ok website says till 9pm. Well 9 comes and goes nothing. My wife leaves for work and I get a email at 7 the next morning they are to be delivered. Well $#*! she's not home. So I reply back to the email that nobody will be home to put up where cat can not get. Nothing not a word back from them on when how or if they delivered got my email or nothing. I will not be buying from them ever again as they promise and do not deliver. Nor communicate whats going on after you try to reach back out to them.
How incredibly irresponsible! I took all this time to select sympathy flowers and paid. They were to be delivered on the same day--a Thursday. Now today, on Monday, I find out they were never sent. They simply "canceled" my order because the florist didn't have the flowers! Unbelievable.
Ordered flowers for my daughter 2 days in advance! It's 5 pm and still no order received! I called customer service and they can't answer any questions on where or why order not delivered yet! Terrible! I'll never use this damn place again!
I would give FTD zero stars if I could! They told me everyday that a floral arrangement I ordered online was going to be delivered the "next day". After 7 days of non-delivery I finally cancelled the order. I was lied to profusely by two separate "supervisors" who told me they would cancel the order after 5 days of non-delivery and set up delivery with another local florist. When I called support after 7 days of non-delivery, I was then told that the order was never cancelled with the original florist and that there were no other local florists to give the order to. I knew I was speaking with an out-source support team and when I asked to be transferred to a supervisor in the United States, I was told that their support team was the only team to handle my problem. I tried to remind them that it was NOT "my" problem, it was THEIR problem which they could not solve. They said they would continue to wait for a response from the local florist, who after 7 days FTD still had no response from. How long did FTD expect me to wait for delivery of sympathy flowers that were to be delivered the day of the funeral?!... I was NOT going to wait indefinitely when it was evident that there was no hope that the flowers would ever be delivered. DO NOT USE FTD UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES IF YOU WANT YOUR FLOWERS TO BE DELIVERED IN A TIMELY MANNER OR AT ALL FOR THAT MATTER!
I sent flowers to my wife wen she texted me telling me thank you I asked her if she got all the items and I named them out she said she didn't get the chocolates which is my wife's favorite thing it ruined it she loves the flowers and chocolates but no chocolates were delivered
I ordered an arrangement called Beyond Blue Bouquet for my daughter's birthday. When she received her flowers she thanked me and sent along a photo. Not in any way what I ordered. This isn't the first time either. Proper one on the left, what she got on the right.

Ordered an arrangement for my partner who was graduating residency. When it arrived it was not like what was pictured. I understand differences in seasonal flowers but even the colors were wrong. When I told FTD they offered to send a replacement order of equal or greater value. No option for refund. When I gave them the information for the replacement they didn't respond until I emailed again. They sent something even more different that what I had ordered. Not to mention it had lillies which I avoid as they are deadly to cats. The message that I put in for the replacement was also not there, just the original message. Flowers looked great both times but not what I paid for and no attempt to correct it. The flowers I originally ordered were rainbow and the second message that was supposed to be included was "happy pride". With current events I wonder if that had anything to do with the mixup...
FTD takes your money first, promises a delivery date & then figures out whether they will deliver your flowers whenever they feel like it. Or not at all, and then they don't tell you until days later! They are horrible; use any other company.
We order our flower 2 days before June 1st for my Aunt & Uncle 60th Anniversary for June 1st, today is June 3rd and it never came! I also requested it to be delivered by 11 am when I spoke to the customer service on the 2nd day, & that didn't happen.
DONT DEPEND ON FTD to get your flowers on time!

The orchid delivered to my daughters gated condo was beautiful and delivered on time with no glitches, at about half the price of the competitors! Will def use FTD again
I will never order from FTD florist, tow year in a row they have not been able to deliver on time for my daughters Birthdays, big money n extremely poor service wil never waste my time or money in FTD … Mark Clifton 5/19/23 two years in a row unable to deliver product to my daughter ……. Ordered a $130 "exquisite" bouquet for Mother's Day delivery. What showed up was a puny bunch flowers like you would grab for $15 at the supermarket. Thought Mom would be really impressed, but instead I was embarrassed when I saw it. FTD agreed to resend the right order, but not until 4 days later. While the new flower arrangement was nicer, the card that was attached was from people I never heard of. Still embarrassing. I am done with FTD.

Ordered flowers for Mother's Day and they were claimed to be delivered on Saturday, May 13. Well, just like other reviews - they weren't delivered. Called customer service and they said they'd contact the florist and send them out as soon as they open on Monday. Well, it's Tuesday night and still no flowers. Horrible, would never order from again.

I'll never purchase from FTD again. I've used them for years, but they totally botched my mother's day gift. I ordered flowers as usual on their site a week before mother's day. On Saturday afternoon I received an email from ftd that they were delivered. I spoke with my mom around 6pm that night and no flowers. I attempted to discuss the issue with ftd customer service, but that was worse than a trip to the dentist. Ftd outsources their customer service to somewhere they don't speak clear English or understand simple questions. Not to be harsh, but just fact. They said call after 9pm, the flowers may be late. But what about the delivery email? No response. I called back after 9pm. Still no flowers. Long story short, I spoke with customer service 4 times and no flowers. Today they said the florist ran out of flowers and they could get some out later this week. Really? Never again ftd!

Flowers didn't arrive, customer service lied to me (I wish I were joking), claimed no supervisor was available and eventually, after 41 minutes, cut me off. Never, never, never again. Wish I'd read the reviews before wasting money and care, and my poor mom didn't get flowers!
