The flowers were delivered a day late (Monday instead of Saturday), but they were already a belated birthday gift so not a big deal. Plus they were so pretty--they made my mom's day!

The "handling charge" of $14.99 was not displayed until the check out process was complete. The handling charges are approx 75% of the total cost of the flowers. Had i not taken the time to enter the shipping, billing and payment info, i would have not proceeded with the order.

----updated 8/18/14----merchant agreed to provide a $12.99 credit to use toward a future purchase, though purchase needed to be made within 7 days. I was pleased an attempt was made to ensure my overall satisfaction. However, it's unlikely the credit "towards another purchase" will compel me to re-order. A credit towards the existing purchase would have been a better offer and most likely would have led me to place future orders.

The process to resolve my issue was more pleasing than my experience. I purchased flowers for My Aunt's birthday. Since I was requesting same-day delivery, I was willing to pay additional monies. However my order was delivered 2-day later, after the Special Occasion.

But, the silver lining is that the staff with the Customer Service Dept, was great. I made contact with them at approx 9:30p on a Sunday night, and from that point forward, they worked diligently to get my ordered delivered. Although I was truly impressed and happy with their response, understanding and willingness to make it right, I'm still disappointed at the mishap.

It's challenging when the florists are outsourced locally. I don't know how true to the picture it will be but this is a convenient way to get flowers from Texas to CA and i'm relying solely on reviews. Thanks!

Update: the delivered flowers were not as full as pictured and not all bloomed but i imagine the thought will last longer as the recipient watches them bloom. However, I question not knowing flower pick up dates at cemeteries if the flowers would be wasted if they were picked up prior to blooming. In regards to customer service and convenience this was a pleasant experience!
