Couldn't find filter replacements on a Watts RO system that the plumber put in. Unless I drive 30 miles to the nearest dealer. Contacted Freshwater Systems & got the right ones for my model
The label on one of the cartridges was UPSIDE DOWN. I know they are pacied UPSIDE DOWN because I bought a total of three sets of cartridges and then are all packed incorrectly. I installed the cartridge according to the label and no water was going through. I had to remove the cartridge and then noticed that the barely visible instructions for proper installation were embossed on the cartridge itself. Now everything works properly.
Paid for overnight shipping yet order took over a week to receive.

I got the filters in a timely manner, but then one was broken, and customer service has been taking their sweet time to send a replacement. I could have ordered somewhere else, and had it replaced and installed by now!

2 of the filters were shipped unwrapped and with broken caps. I was later told that none of their current stock of this filter is wrapped or sealed. This is very unsanitary. Also the item is not in the original packaging. It appears separate parts are ordered and then a package is put together from these items and then sold. I am still awaiting a resolution. Product described is not what was sold.
Had a power supply for the UV go bad. Emailed the business I originally purchased it from and heard crickets. Freshwater gave me a prompt response and told me what the replacement was for the outdated part. Great communication. Fast shipping.
FreshwaterSystems provided the product as expected and within a reasonable amount of shipping time. They even used recycled packaging for a shipping container. Eco wise, if not a little unsettling to see the package arrive in a somewhat tattered condition. The product installed easily, however after one day the indicator light on the RO faucet failed to work properly. I'll have to disable the light to stop it from continuously blinking red. Too bad. My old faucet's indicator light never failed to work properly.
I had to wait for a few months for a back order to fill, but FreshwaterSystems always kept me informed on each new delay and offered a chance to cancel the order

Great product, water purification works great. However the instructions are terrible. Finally figured it out, it helps to know how the system is supposed to work.
I never received my product. After a week and a half I went online to see the tracking update and found that it was was never delivered so I reached out and was told that they would resolve it. I never heard from them so I reached out again. They said they could ship it again but there would be an extra fee for "re-shipping" it. When I told them that I just wanted a full refund so that I could purchase it from somewhere else they said they couldn't provide me a full refund. I understand that their business model isn't built upon repeat business as water filters aren't purchased weekly but this is not how you treat your customers - All I want is to be able to have filtered water made into ice in my new home!
Very easy to place order but only part of the order was shipped. No type of notification on when the rest of the order will be shipped.
Purchased an air gap counter faucet and the connection to one of the lines was defective. Called and asked what options there were for returning/replacing, etc.
Told that they do not handle defects, but it must be cleared with the manufacturer which could take 4-6 weeks. They asked for pictures of the defect which we sent. We called again a week later to inquire as to the status of the situation, they said they would call back. THEY NEVER DID. Called the credit card company to dispute the charges. Absurd to think that once the purchase has been completed whether the product works or not, FRESHWATER SYSTEMS takes themselves out of the picture. I WOULD NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.
