Freshly comes in right on time with my family's very busy schedule! I'm a mom always on the go and I don't have time to cook healthy meals every night! All my family has to do is pop a Freshly meal on the microwave and in a couple of minutes they have a healthy great tasting meal! Big Thanks to Freshly for coming through for my family!
I have been very pleased with all of the food choices so far. This is a wonderful company to order from when you only need one dinner plate. I like the great variety they offer, and have not been disappointed with any of the dishes that I have ordered. And the food comes well packed, and stays cold for several hours if I have not been able to unpack it right away. The prices are very reasonable compared to going out for dinner to a restaurant.

I am loving Freshly; helps out tremendously. Only concern is cooling bag leaked once on my food during shipment, only happened once so far though. I was still able to eat my meals though.

The only complaint I have so far is that I have referred a bunch of people to freshly. I hate that I have to copy and paste the code to get my free meals. I forget to do it each week. So frustrating. It should automatically be in my account so it will just credit or something. Anything is better than the format now.

The food is wonderful, delivery on time, love that the packaging is biodegradable denim.
Price is still a bit more than i should be spending and i hate plastic to hold the frozen gel and denim stuff, but not sure what else could be used.

We love freshly! It provides great tasting, balanced, healthy and fresh meals all ready in 5 minutes. With my husband working full time as the president of his company, us having 1 toddler and 1 baby, and me returning to the workforce at the director of sales for a start up we look forward every week to receiving our meals! Freshly means no guilt served with dinner. We get to focus on spending time together!

The choices are few and if you don't cancel your order for the second week before your first week is even delivered they will charge your card and ship the same meals whether you want them or not. When I called customer service they would do nothing at all to help me or try to rectify the situation. I was just stuck with what hey we're going to ship... even though there was a week to change the order.
I'm so very sorry for the confusion, Kay! All of our plans are set up as weekly recurring orders, per the ordering process, checkout, Terms, and initial confirmation email. But customers can skip weeks as needed or even cancel. We simply require that these actions are taken by the weekly deadline which is outlined in the welcome email, weekly reminder emails, and on Meal Planner pages.
We don't mean to be difficult by sticking to our deadlines, we simply need to maintain the most efficient production process that we can, since we prepare and ship tens of thousands of meals each week.

After receiving Freshly for several weeks now, we are already "over" this service. The food is just ok. The convenience is quite nice, but not nice enough to keep going at this point. The food lacks texture (all are pretty much the same texture over and over). There are not enough options or rotation as well. None of the meals after eating did we go "WOW, now that was tasty." Not complaining at all on this platform, but wanted to give true feedback. Thank you for providing us a service that we could try. GREAT idea!

Freshly is a great service if you're single or just live on your own. Cooking a proper meal is always hard if you're not sharing with anyone because most if not all recipes out there are for at least 2 people. Freshly provides a decent and healthy single serving meal that is simple to prepare and cleanup. The only gripe I have is that the plastic seal doesn't peel off cleanly, which though not a big deal, is kind of annoying.

Shipping box is ok. Inside is 2 plastic bags filled with recycled denim. Then 2-4 plastic bags filled with a frozen gel. The denim gets thrown away, sure its biological but it is going in in the trash? Then the gel nightmare. I have had these leak all over my food two times. Yes the food is sealed but the gel is so gross. We have very very minimal trash pick up in my town and we done ever put trash in plastic bags just the small toter. This gel can not go in the toter, it is just stuck in the bottom makeing a nasty mess. It's the worst thing we put in our garbage. Sure we could re use them but we get freshly every week so we get 3 more every week and we don't ever need to reuse them.
I have tried other food delivery serices that have better packaging. This totally outweighs the food. :(

Improve is adding an option to choose your sides. Fixes sides may counteract the palate one may have for a particular dish. Altogether, great food and service.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
