I love freshly. The cost is fair, the food is great, and it saves me so much time and effort. It has really allowed me to get more things done in a day because I don't have to spent an hour prepping cooking and cleaning a dinner. My only complaint is the expiration dates. I wish I had more time to eat my food but I understand why that is hard to do.
Expiration dates are less than a week from freshly arrival...

Since we cook the meals and ship them without using chemical/artificial preservatives, they do have a shorter refrigerated shelf life than say, commercial frozen dinners. While the meals will last 4-5 days in the refrigerator, they can be frozen for longer periods of time!
I started using Freshly in order to eat more healthy food on a regular basis. The food is very good - quite delicious. So far, I've only had one meal that I didn't like.

Very much enjoy having a handful of easy meals each week. Really reduces stress trying to get dinner together when my wife or I work late. The quality is certainly good, my only concern is the dollar amount per meal is just a bit over my comfort level. I really wish it were a couple dollars less per meal. That would truly make it sustainable for us. As it is, each week we are on the verge of cancelling because of the cost.

I work non-stop and train in the evenings, and it's been a huge struggle to find the time to prep meals for the week. Freshly has solved that problem. The food is great, and the portions are perfect.

My first box actually didn't make it to me because FedEx apparently thinks I live down the street. So my box sat outside in the Texas heat all day and was essentially ruined. I emailed them that day and they were prompt in getting back to me and although not directly their fault they fixed it. Haven't tried the food yet but A++ on customer service.

I signed up for Freshly because I was looking for a meal delivery service that offered healthy, pre-made meals. All the other delivery services out there send you the ingredients and the recipes but I'm a hairstylist; I'm on my feet all day and get out of work late. I don't have the fortitude to prepare a meal when I get home from work. Freshly has literally made my life so much easier. Not only are my husband and I eating healthy meals but we aren't fighting about what to eat or where to go for dinner. The portions are sizable. I am not left feeling like I need more to eat. You can't beat the price either. We have saved so much money with Freshly. Thank you!

I think Freshly is amazing. The food is overall great but more importantly for me, is that I have a healthful diet easily accessible. I have health issues which make preparing food like this difficult. And I feel that the price is very reasonable for the quality of what you get.

I tried their service for two weeks. The first week everything went well. I very much liked the convenience of ready made, healthy lunches. The quality of the food is a big step up from frozen meals. The second week Freshly substituted 4 out of 6 meals since they ran out of ingredients. The replacements were randomly picked. I even received the same meal 3 times even though I had picked 6 different ones. They offered a credit for a future delivery. Unfortunately, they weren't able to delivery at all the following week. I called customer service and received a refund for the 4 meals. No excuse or explanation. Cancelled the subscription. Busy lives need a more reliable meal service.

We've been using Freshly for just over a month now.
Most of the meals we've tried have been good - considering it's like having leftovers. The ingredients seem to be good quality, the portions are perfect. It has certainly helped our family not overeat. Definitely convenient.

Most of the meals are good and good for you the only real problem I have with them is there is not enough variety and the vegetables are too hard for me to eat sometimes

I have tried quite a number of fresh meal deliveries in an effort to eat real, nutritious and flavorful food. Some were good, but went out of business. Some were just WAY too expensive! Others were "ok" but I tired of their overly "gourmet" type food. Freshly is priced right, DELICIOUS, consistent and packaged & shipped with amazing care! You have just enough variety to keep me satisfied without going too far "afield" which takes me into "experimental" mode. I don't like paying a fortune for a meal just to find I don't really like the preparation. PLEASE don't go out of business!

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
