The orders have been on time, delicious and filling. I had an issue with an order being wrong due to a discontinuation of a meal I didn't know about and was promptly credited 2 meals in a courteous manner. I really like the service so far. The beef chili was too spicy for my taste. The steak is somehow really soft and delicious after being reheated. The chicken parm is also great. It's a nice alternative to cooking when my pregnant wife is tired out or we are just too busy. Love it! Thank you!
I won't be reordering the sausage and peppers because it was greasy and the rice tasted funny.
The rest of the meals have been good.
Freashly is such a great time saver. To be able to have a fresh healthy quality meal. In the time of reheating left overs or a TV dinner is a beautiful thing
I now am looking for more variety. Its like to see more seafood and plant based options without Chile spice.
I thoroughly enjoyed my freshly deliveries. My only suggestion is to expand the menu a bit. But, otherwise a good and honest product.

The meals are delicious, but the glue on the plastic cover to the meals makes them incredibly frustrating to open. I almost flung my lunch across the room on accident trying to open peel the plastic off today. I would love more of a variety of meals as well - variety of choices is what I loved most about Blue Apron. I'm starting to repeat meals and I haven't been subscribing for long.

I sent you a private message as well- but I recommend cutting around the edge of the meal with a knife, as opposed to pulling off the plastic.

I like the food I received. I like not having to plan some meals! I wish there more fish dishes. I can't think of any more to say. I don't like having to write one.
I have been really pleased with Freshly! I have been using them for a few months. It is so easy to update my menu each week, or cancel a delivery if need be. My refrigerator is no longer cluttered with half used jars of food or veggies that I have to compost.
No pots and pans to clean... the packaging is recyclable and I give the ice packs to a local caterer to use when they need to keep their cool things cool for events.
The meals taste great, I love the suggestions for additional ingredients that enhance the food.
My husband and I split a meal and with an added salad, it is always enough for the both of us.
I'm not a great cook, and I don't like to shop, so Freshly has made my life much easier!
I received 6 meals as a gift from one of my employees since I am single and dont like to cook every night. The food is tasty but for me personally ( my personal opinion- nothing against the company) my concern is the amount of fat, cholesterol, sodium and carbs- all are very high. I am also not a person that would plan meals a week or 2 in advance so do not like to have to eat it by a certain date- overall the food is good and convenient and portions are very big!
I am gone on Saturday very often. I also get too many dinners. Now starting on 30/30 food plan so need to cancel program unless I can get a special diet. Nothing white and no dairy.

The meals are wonderful! They taste great, the portion size is good, and are nutrionally complete. And I really appreciate the time saved.
I love Freshly! I love the food and the convenience and the fact that I don't have to cook to have healthy food and know exactly what is going into my body. The two meals I didn't think were 5-star my boyfriend loves!
I am about to do a Whole30 in a few weeks and am super disappointed that I am going to have to find another "personal chef" program. With just a couple minor tweaks (no canola or vegetable oil, try olive, coconut, avocado, ghee, etc) Freshly would have compliant meals! Otherwise, I love everything!
I ordered 2 weeks of meals in September. I have been receiving weekly shipments for 6 more weeks. I have called and written to you about this. Over the phone I have been assured these shipments will stop immediately. Also, I would not be responsible for payment for any shipments beyond the special rate for the first 2 weeks. At this point you have deducted an additional 6 payments of $59.99 each! You owe me for those payments. That money needs to be back in my account ASAP. Besides being told I would not have to pay for any extra weeks, but I was asked to use the meals or give them to friends and family. The bottom line is you have lost this customer permanently. Not only have you been negligent and wasteful but the meals were not something we would eat more than once. ICK!

Most of the food is fantastic, Sure I have had a few that didn't live up to MY expectations and or just needed to add a bit of salt and pepper and it was great. Although the variety is good, I feel they could add more meals or rotate out more meals. Only real complaint is low variety of breakfast items. Wish there were alot more.
Freshly makes my life easier. I order 6 meals a week which saves me the time of having to source ingredients and cook most of my dinners. The food tastes great and I have plenty of options to add variety to my meals every week.
Where Freshly can improve is better controlling the delivery process. They use Fedex for delivery which does not provide any delivery time windows other than the day itself. In order to receive my food, I typically have to wait at my home all day on my delivery date and the food will come at any time of the day - sometimes in the morning sometimes in the evening. Most of the times, to the incorrect address (neighbors') next door too!
It is a crazy time in our household and having pre-packaged meals have been a life saver. And the bonus is that the meals are delicious. It is even satisfying a picky eating husband and kids. Thank you Freshly!
The food is very good, and creative meals. It would be nice if there were more low carb options, and if the plastic on the meal was able to peel back easily. Many times its not as convenient to plate the meal beforehand, but the plastic baisically needs to be cut around the top, which makes a mess & can be frustrating to remove. Would be much easier to heat up, and peel the plastic off the container to eat. Ive had one week of meals that was not delivered on the scheduled day, but easily chatted online & was refunded immediately.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
