My family thought everything was tasty. I canceled because there were not enough low-carb options for me and the packaging doesn't seem very earth friendly.
My brother is currently staying with me and we have both been eating the meals and enjoying them. This has led me to continue ordering meals.
I have used Freshly for several weeks, and so far I am extremely pleased with the quality and quantity of food provided. The meals are restaurant-quality, and they are delivered to my front door. The only thing that would make them better is if they were free! (The prices are not unreasonable for the meals.)
Me and my picky eater husband love Freshly. I love that we can come home from a long day and I don't have to cook. Also love that we have so many choices in meals.

Amazing service! My husband and I both have busy schedules and this allows us to eat healthy and stay on track with our diet goals. Weve been using Freshly for almost 2 months, and every meal weve had was well prepared, delicious and very enjoyable!
Placed first order, received confirmation that order shipped on 1/11 - it's 1/14 and I still don't have my order. I contacted customer service - no apology given, was told to check with FedEx. FedEx has shipment as delivery exception, unreadable label.
I was told to discard the food when I received it and my next order would ship next week. This is unacceptable - the only other option I was given was to cancel subscription and receive a refund for the missing week.
I agreed to cancellation and refund - if this is the level of service I should expect, I don't want to do business with you.

Everything is great, good meals, reasonable price, and always come on time. My only concern is it would be better to have longer expiration date. Everything else is perfect
Our family has been very pleased with the quality, selection, and convenience of the food. The food choices are delicious and healthy.
I wish freshly switched up the menu more frequently. I am not as excited about my meals as when i first started.
Also i wished they offered a 5 meal option (so i can eat out on weekends and have meals for work nights)

Freshly has been delicious and the flavors have beaten other meal delivery services that we have tried. Plus, Freshly does all the hard meal prep work for you so theres no clean up.
All the food is delicious! One of the best decisions Ive made. All the meals are filling and Im not hungry right away after eating. They are great portions and I never feel like Im over eating.
LOVE- the portion size, the freshness, the healthiness, the fact that it is all ready to go so no more worrying about what there is for dinner
SUGGEST- more choices, more variety especially in the fish department so we don't get bored and look for other on line meal choices. Only do slow cooked red meats to keep them tender. Found the steak au poivre over cooked and sauce not up to snuff. Also maybe lamb and veal additions in the form of slow cooked stews. You might think of additional sides that are add on costs (like Model Meals does)

I started Freshly about a month and a half ago with the 6 meal a week plan. I loved it so much that I'm now on the 10 meal and week plan, plus I save a little money. I have loved every meal that I have tried. After eating grocery stores frozen dinners, Freshly is a breath of fresh air... pun intended. The meals are very healthy, gourmet quality. I didn't know that a prepared meal heated in a microwave could taste so good. I plan to be eating 10 meals a week from here on out!
I feel fortunate to have discovered Freshly from an ad on Facebook. The great majority of meals Ive ordered have been very tasty.
Though I dont have food allergies, Ive largely removed gluten and dairy from my diet to reduce inflammation. I can be sure that there will be no gluten in my Freshly meals and manageable dairy.
Ive shared my satisfaction with friends and know that one of them will be in giving it a try soon.
Freshly is a wonderful alternative for those of us who don't enjoy cooking, but want to eat healthy, fresh and good-tasting meals.
We have done the food services that one has to prepare, but everyone did not cook when they were supposed to... defeated the purpose. Your meals are quite tasty. My only complaint is that so many of the entrees have green beans as the veggie

My husband and I regularly share the meals and pair with a side salad. The meals are large, delicious with fresh ingredients. Equivalent to going to a nice restaurant and paying up to $20 for a meal. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice alternative to going out and saving a little bit of money.
If you want this to be a long term plan that retains clients often. I would suggest a bigger rotational menu. Rotate things in and out but have 50+ dishes youre always interchanging. Even if you do it regionally or something because you buy your ingredients in bulk or whatever the scalability issue is, Id recommend solving that ASAP. I know many people that loved (LOVED) it first 3-6 weeks and have now complained theyre tired of the dishes and will probably cancel till they see new dishes. Really is my biggest complaint.
Also, would love to be considered for a product management role should it come available.

Answer: Hi Marc, Thanks for your inquiry! At this time we change one meal per week, typically. We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.

Our boxes are recyclable, as are the plastic meal containers and cardboard sleeves. The recycled denim insulation is largely biodegradable, and the gel ice packs are non-toxic, and the plastic bags for them are recyclable. And we're always looking for new ideas/products to help even more!
