We have had the service for two months. Can say we have our favorites! Some we dont like. Fix a salad to round the meals out. Good time saver. Items tend to be over cooked, but Im sure they have to be on the safe side.
I absolutely love freshly meals. I have found my favorites and each member of my family has their favorites as well. We love the convenience of these delicious, fresh tasting, gluten free meals. I cant speak highly enough about freshly.

I've been getting Freshly for more than a month now since the promo I saw on Facebook. I love most of the dishes, especially the steak peppercorn, the beef lasagna and chicken parmigiana.
What I see could be better - I really want to eat healthier. Freshly's food is generally healthier than most take out options in my area of Oakland. And at the same time, I'd like more veggies, salad, and fiber rich options (esp. Because I deal with constipation sometimes). I'm aware than Thistle does this for 13.50 (3 dollars more than Freshly) but I don't see it as affordable.
Also, last week, when my box was delayed a day (which itself isn't too impactful), I came home to see that an ice pack was broken and already leaking through the box a bit. The ice pack inside was mostly frozen, but it was still able to spill a bit.
For the most part, great job Freshly!

I really give it a 3.5. The convince is great, however the variety gets stale after 3 weeks. I only like only about 50% of the entrees so after 3 weeks they feel repetitive.

I really enjoy freshly. I wish there way a broader selection of meals to pick from. I live and work out of town and cannot find motivation to cook for myself, where I greatly enjoy cooking for other people, this stuff cuts through the BS of doing it all alone.

Everything we have ordered has been delicious. I do wish there were more food options. I feel we are ordering the same things. Although delicious we would like variety. We only order Freshly b/c it comes to us already cooked. I can no longer chop and cook.

The meals are very very good. I enjoy them very much. However the packaging that they come in with all of the packing materials and the gel ice packs are very inconvenient to dispose of each week theres so much of it and I know its supposed to be recyclable but to have to tear it apart and put part of it in your trash and part of it in your recycling and the gel substance leaks out and its just not a good situation. I believe in doing the environmentally right thing, but this gets old every week. Also, it is difficult to get the film off the meals. Once you get past all of that the meals are large, filling, and delicious. Its hard to believe theyre so healthy!

I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in February, started a very strong and rigorous chemo treatment. Nutrition has been incredibley hard. Most days you cant eat, or you throw up what you eat and when You finally get and appetitie you either are craving horribly unhealthy food that just makes you feel sicker, or dont have the energy to cook or make something to eat. I was losing close to 8 pounds a week and knew I had to figure something out, because even though I had some extra weight to lose. Per my oncologist Now was not the time to be losing weight. I saw an ad on Facebook about freshly and thought Id give it a try. Packaged meals, not frozen, freshly made, low carb, everything that I would usually eat, but I didnt have to make. With my tastebuds being so thrown off, everything has tasted really good, I have never had a bad meal. The portion sizes are perfect and I have managed to keep and acceptable 2 pounds of weight loss a week instead close to 10. This has definitely been a lifesaver for me and Im so thankful I found it! Also the packaging is wonderful. The box can sit on my front porch for hours in the Texas heat and everything is still completely cold. Yall keep up the good work, big or small yall are making a difference!

The food is terrific and it saves so much time in the kitchen. Perfect for the busy professional craving the convenience of fast food but also wanting to maintain a healthy diet.
Decent enough, but only slightly better than glorified TV dinners.

Love Freshly - the food is delicious. I've tried everything they have to offer over the past 2 months, and I genuinely love everything. So easy to just plate and heat. Overall, the meals are tasty and healthy. I was surprised at the portion sizes. My only complaint is the lack of variety in the kinds of vegetables used. Might be that it's just the ones I'm choosing. The green beans, mixed veggies, and broccoli are frozen vegetables with very little flavor.
