Service was good. Food quality was good and tasted good. But high to very high sodium levels for many meals. Buffalo chicken was nearly 1,100. Ouch!

This is our first experience with mail-order meals. So far, the food has been good and since everything arrives prepared, it is extremely easy. The portions are little bit smaller than we usually eat, but that gives us portion control, so guess it's a good thing.

Food doesn't look anything like pictures. In the peppercorn steak, the potatoes are runny, no gravy on meat and meat is smaller than pictures.
Odd taste to some meals. Had to throw out. I would like to cancel my orders.

Perfect solution for my wife and I on those hectic weeknights when we get home late from work or a workout and are ravenous but don't want to feel guilty spending too much money going out or eating unhealthy fast food.

One delivery so far showed up 1 day late. One delivery didn't show up at all. I spoke with customer service and they were very nice. Hopefully we will receive the next delivery. Not a lot of change in the available meals. We are diabetic so keeping our carbs down there has been less to choose from. Taste of the meals are average to good.

We have really enjoyed freshly. Most meals we would give 3-4 stars but the convenience of it is definitely 5 star. Plus with the meals being so healthy it's an added bonus.

Freshly has been a great time saver. It is a bit expensive at being about $10 a meal, but the food is delicious, healthy, and I've even lost weight since subscribing. The price is the $#*! thing that really bothers me about the service. If it was back to the trail period price, I would see myself as a lifetime subscriber.

I did some investigating on our end, and I see that FedEx had noted your delivery was dropped off on the date expected, but that you didn't receive the package until the following day. I'm very glad one of our Support Team members could assist, and advise the meals be disposed, not only as the box was not up to our standards, but as your meals had been in transit for over two days. I can also assure you that our Delivery Specialist was made aware of this, and is investigating further with FedEx.

These meals are really delicious and wonderful for me right now as I lost my husband 4 months ago and wasn't eating well. I no longer feel like cooking so would eat sandwiches or junk. These have been a Godsend for me. Only reason not 5 stars as I wish there were more meals to choose from, although I have a few favorites and enjoy those every week. I really like that they are low sugar and healthy. Only had to contact Customer Serivce once and Eric was awesome! Thank you for a great product!

I like the service but would like to see more variety in the dishes offered. Also I was disappointed to order a couple chicken dishes that used chicken thighs instead of breasts.The sage flavor is overpowering in the turkey dish so I won't order that again. Shipment is well packaged & arrives as scheduled.

Currently, we use chicken thighs in our Chicken Teriyaki and Tikka Masala dishes, and this information would be included in the meal description and ingredients list, which can be viewed by clicking on the pictures on our menu. I truly appreciate all of your feedback, and will certainly share this with our team! We're working hard to add more variety and customized options as we grow, so this will be very helpful for them!
As a former Blue Apron customer, I am so pleased with the fact that my wife and I don't waste food anymore. To create a delicious meal in about three minutes is a helpful addition to our lifestyle. My only request would be to increase the size of the meals. With Blue Apron, one prepared meal would feed three in my family. These portions are more expensive and, in reality, only serve one person.

I find the quality great. The vegetables can be a bit bland at times tho and the quantity usually has me still going for a bit more food. I think the price point is great tho and would not go for a bigger plan if they increased the price. I like the healthy options just want more food!

This is the second pre-prepared dinner plan I've tried. Their food tastes better overall and they make a better effort with spices, etc. The prices are reasonable considering they give free shipping. The packaging is great and easy to use.

As a natural doctor I am super busy and still want to eat healthy as I am advising my patients to do. Most food is all microwave which inherently is awful for you. I like being able to cook these in the oven andnplate them. I like the idea of sun basket and the like but I dont have the time usually

Great high quality fresh food that is as good or better than I could make for my family. Even my toddler loves it. Its a little pricey at base cost (comparable to cost of carryout from local restaurant), but with a promo code or referral bonuses it's a great value.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.

As a little background on Freshly, we create our menu around nutrient-dense veggies, high-quality proteins, and healthy fats, and season our meals using sea salt, herbs, and spices. We never use flavor enhancers or other artificial ingredients that can drive unhealthy levels of sodium.
The sodium in our meals is a combo of sodium that’s naturally occurring in the ingredients themselves (a medium carrot has about 50 mg of sodium alone!), and a mineral-dense sea salt that we use to season our meals. (We encourage our customers to add any additional seasonings based on their personal preferences.) Our meals average about 700 mg of sodium per dish, which is less than a third of the FDA’s daily recommendation of 2,300 mg. We always offer a range of dishes under 600 mg.
We work hard to offer a better, fresher alternative to other convenience-type or packaged foods that are high in sodium. For example, our Sicilian-Style Chicken Parm contains about 580 mg of sodium, while a similar dish at a local chain restaurant may contain between 2,500-3,000 mg of sodium.
We recently launched a sort feature in the top right hand corner of the "Choose Meals" page as well, so you can sort by sodium, from lowest to highest (some of our meals are as low as 300-400 mg). This tool is useful if you have a specific nutritional preference or goal in mind!
