So far my husband and I have enjoyed our meals. They are delicious and filling. My only concern is the sodium and I would like more meals with less calories.
Also more fish choices such as Wild Caught Salmon.
I would prefer larger portions. I find myself snacking more than before because I'm always hungry after eating one of the meals. I don't understand why the meals don't come with a lot more vegetables. Some have no vegetables at all?
Meals arrived as expected. Food tastes good and is enough to be full but not stuffed.

I find the food definitely fresh and delicious but on the same note very spicy on some. There are a few that I liked but the spice was just too much so I won't purchase again.
I would enjoy the meals better if the sodium content wasn't so high. This isn't helping me achieve my fitness goals any sooner, in fact. I think it's inhibiting them

My husband has Parkinson's and I have MS. Being that the middle of the day I'm unusually exhausted and am not up to cooking (Due to MS). My husband hasn't been able to cook in quite a while. Have been looking for something that fills our needs. We received our first box on a Tuesday. In 7 min our meals were done! It was a balanced meal and very, very good! There are others that are good, but you still need to prepare them. Am so happy we are ordering Freshly!
Good selection, good quality. Delivery is much better with UPS than Fedex. Boxes used to appear that they were tossed sand upside down.

We have enjoyed all of the meals we have ordered. The cooking times are spot on and the portions are appropriate. The only negative comment we have is regarding the packaging. Although we know the packaging needs to keep our meals fresh, we wish it was more earth friendly. There is lots of "stuffing" and plastic bags to dispose of.

For example, we’ve recently been testing fiber containers, and we hope to utilize more materials like this in the future. I am on my second week of freshly meals and have been very happy thus far. I have enjoyed 8 different meals and they have all been excellent. I love that they are gluten free and are ready in about 3 minutes. Portions are a good-size, not skimpy like frozen meals. I highly recommend freshly if you are a single person to have for dinner, if you take lunch to work, etc. Much healthier and less expensive than eating out.

I just love this service. This is my third week of using Freshly. So far, the meals are good, the use by dates are extended just far enough and the delivery is like clockwork.

It's great not to have to cook for myself. I work from 345-7 and trying to find a time to eat is difficult. I am having Freshly around 1-2 and then a protein bar for dinner. I feel I am doing a good tthing for me.

I love the food however I find the salt content a little too high. I would love to control my salt intake. (so does my Dr)

Just a little about us, we're dedicated to nutrient-dense veggies, high-quality proteins, and healthy fats for balanced meals that are both wholesome and tasty. We also like to stick to real and whole ingredients, all the while maintaining a strict banned ingredients list which includes chemical additives, MSG, flavor enhancers, and such that would contribute to a higher salt content.

The quality of the food is top notch and it is all very delicious. However, it seems like the portion sizes are for those that are trying to lose weight which is fine, so I recommend that Freshly expand its customer base by offering different portion sizes that can meet a variety of goals such as weight loss, weight gain, muscle building, etc. I am very active and trying to increase muscle mass and I have to eat two meals at a time in order to meet my calorie and macronutrient requirements. Offering larger portion sizes to Freshly's options would make the service a more robust, complete meal program.

I honestly love this service. The deliveries have been great and 100% delicious. I have been surprised each week with new choices and knowing I don't have to do takeout has been terrific!
I received the pulled pork and loved every bite. I added an avocado and shredded lettuce to the dinner. Loved the combo!

Answer: Hi Marc, Thanks for your inquiry! At this time we change one meal per week, typically. We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)
Answer: Hi Angela, Thank you for reaching out to us here at Freshly! We use third-party carriers for our deliveries, such as FedEx in her area! We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.

We currently update our menu once a week with one new meal, so definitely keep an eye out for more meals that you may like!
