Not much meal variety rotating. Receive positive feedback from person that this benefited from during time of need. Additional negative is if you set up with PayPal first you cannot change your type of payment to a credit card or other method later. Had to cancel and start over with a new email account to resume. Was quite a hassle to change over and not keep order history.
My son has enjoyed the last several weeks of Freshly. He loves the simplicity of fixing the meals. Unfortunately, he cannot afford the luxury of having it every week due to being on SSI. It does not fit his budget unless he saves up.
This concept is especially great for the folks who are disabled and the elderly still living at home that need wholesome food too.

My husband and I tried Freshly for the first time about two weeks ago. Between the two of us we have tried about 12 different meals. Every one of the meals have been delicious and filling. The convenience of the meals just adds to our satisfaction. For anyone "on the fence" about trying out this service I would say, "Go for it!" It is worth the cost in so many ways.

I tried other companies like Freshly before that were more costly per week and the quality and portion size that Freshly gives you is unmatched. I love that there is an application for the service and I can conveniently rate meals and change my order for the coming weeks. When you need help with something or have a question the Freshly team is always happy to help in the chat forum on the application, they get back to you in a timely manner as well. The reason I choose Freshly is because I have Celiac disease and all of their meals are certified gluten free. This takes the hassle out of cooking and worrying about cross contamination. The only set back I have found from Freshly is that the maximum meals per peek is 12 and I wish I could get 14. I understand why 12 would be an ideal amount of meals for some people, IE a cheat meal, eating out, or one home cooked meal but I just love Freshly so much that I would love to eat it 7 days a week! This service has increased the quality of my life and I am confident that I am giving my body the healthy food that it has always deserved. Thank you!

I've been a customer for 4 years and am very pleased with the service. Freshly allows me to eat healthy with little thinking ahead or preparation. The meals are 100% gluten free and void of any preservatives or chemicals. They are also DELICIOUS!

Kind of hard to wrangle food choices for a family of 3 and keep individual choices tracked from computer to fridge. Individual ordering URL per family member, and name marking on the dishes (or at least a named packing list) would definitely help.
I think the food is good, especially considering the effort that goes into the cooking. My son calls it "airline food" but he is a spoiled brat. My wife is neutral about the food (she thinks the portions are too large for her, they are just right for me and my son).
The price is very good.

I love the ease of freshly and how great everything tastes! Most of the options can easily fit into anyone's dietary restrictions or diet plan. I love that I have a wide array of things to choose from and everything is high quality and full of nutrients. The single serving size works great for me as well. I would like some lower sodium options as well as some more vegetable heavy options, but that's really the only downfall!

I love freshly. I'm a physician assistant student currently and freshly makes it so much easier when hours are insane and you don't always have time to cook meals but don't want to eat fast food. I do wish there was a way to opt for the meals to be vegetarian, I don't eat meat often and end up eating around the meat when I order these meals. Would be nice to just opt out of having meat added in the first place. Otherwise the meals are super tasty and quick and have made my life much easier!
I am on week three and so far I like all but one meal that I've tried. The meals arrive fresh and ready to refrigerate.
This was changed my life. Saves so much time and I get yummy, healthy lunches and dinners. I haven't had a bad meal yet. Portion size is perfect. Thanks Freshly!

Being widowed I got into the habit of easy microwave meals. Not always best for taste or health. With the new year am making changes to my way of taking care of me. With the Freshly meals, I do not worry about what to fix or eating proper portions. Am now getting my health back and getting out to socialize and staying out of restaurants for all you can eat. Freshly provides excellent customer service. I recently had a late delivery because of winter weather delays and the refunded me in addition to giving me $30 in credit due to my inconvenience. I am well pleased with the food and variety of meal choices. Thank you.

I've loved every meal I've received. The chicken is tender and the veggies are cooked perfectly. The portions are appropriate and the meals are so easy to heat up. I could go on and on!

Looking at your subscription, I do see that you had a promo code for the first 2 orders - As the promotion had been fully utilized, the price did revert back to the regular $59.99 per week for the 6 meal plan. Of course, the price for each order can be viewed in your Deliveries!

I've been using this service for a few weeks now and I feel like there aren't very many dairy free diet options. I would like to order some meals with dairy in them, because I can't request having an ingredient left out, but I can't. I feel like I'm already starting to get board with the menu.

I'm so sorry for any troubles with our current selections - We're not made for any specific diet (like dairy free), but we do still have some options. At this time, I'm sad to say we can't customize just due to the large amount of meals we make each week. However, this is something we're looking to add! With that said, we do try and keep a steady menu, though we typically swap out an existing dish for a new one every week - excluding holidays! I like it. We are on no sugar no wheat diet. And don't have a kitchen. Right now. This is very easy and very good and the way we want to eat. Will continue to use freshly when we have a kitchen again

As a young professional that wants to eat a healthy great tasting meal without the time spent in the kitchen doing it yourself, Freshly meals are the best option. The meals don't have any ingredients that I can't pronounce, ergo nothing artificial. All meals are perfectly portioned to satisfy without overeating. The entire online experience is a breeze, from meal descriptions to meal selection and ordering. There are only two reasons why I couldn't give it 5-stars. First, I feel the average price per meal is a little high. The second is even though the portions, calories, nutrients and such are all fairly healthy, I have noticed that some of the meals have high fat content, particularly the saturated fat.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
