I was pleasantly surprised at how great the food is. I thought it was going to be more frozen food type but its fresh and more importantly some of the dishes are amazing. Would highly recommend.
A menu that pleases my palette - always fresh - consistent quality and timely delivery. I'm able to control my carb and calorie intake with these prepared foods. I eat healthy with these meals and balance my budget.
I've discontinued my orders due to no plant based options
Freshly was a great option for two working parents with two young children. Having a few delicious meals conveniently in the fridge that heat up in 3 minutes is exactly what we wanted. The ease of ordering through the mobile application and having our order arrive consistently at the same time each week is great. We have ordered 14 weeks and each box of meals has yet to disappoint.
I have been very pleased with the quality and quantity of food provided with each meal I've purchased. I would strongly recommend using Freshly meals for both lunch or dinner!

I have been eating freshly meals for a few months and my husband and I love them as a quick and healthy dinner or lunch option. When you don't have time to cook it is so nice to just be able to heat one of these meals up in the microwave and it is ready to go. Are usually add a little salt or hot sauce or melted cheese on top to add a little more flavor to the meals but they are pretty good on their own. Thank you for all the great meals freshly!
If I have a question about anything, I go on chat line and they are very helpful. If they do not have an answer, someone follows up with me and solves the problem.

I absolutely love freshly! The customer service is amazing, the food comes fast, and it tastes really good. I love that there are so many meal options that are constantly changing. You don't get bored. I think it's great you can sort meals by calories, carbs, and protein too.
Always timely deliveries. It is so handy to pull a meal out of the freezer for lunch the next day - I don't have to try to think of something to make for supper and have enough for my lunch too. Every week I have the option to change what meals I will get, or keep the same ones. Meals are fresh, tasty, and so convenient.

I have absolutely no complaints about Freshly. On time every time. Good food. Fast and easy. I have to admit I smile every time I plate my meal and sit down to eat. I'm eating healthier and still really enjoying dinnertime.

Excellent food. Lives up to their name. No prep and no mess. Filling, reasonably priced, flavorful meals. Flexible plans, not stuck in a contract, and no hidden agendas. Excellent, friendly, receptive customer service. Love the reminders they send out to to select my new line of upcoming meals. Never bug me. I won't use any other company. Hooked me with their performance. And no, I don't work for them or are they paying me for complements. This is an honest review.

I love Freshly! 10 straight weeks with different meals, Freshly has a large selection. All meals have been tasty, made with whole foods and a pronounceable ingredient list. Great for lunches as well as quick easy dinners. Don't hesitate to try them.

I have been using freshly now for a few months. I love the meals. I live alone and they give me a balanced delicious meal for about the same price I would spend on take out. So convenient, delivered at my home every Friday. Never late and never disappointed. Great for singles to use for dinner. I have very little grocery shopping and they. Are perfectly proportioned. Thank you freshly for the service you provide. I would highly recommend Freshly to anyone!

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
