I have ordered Freshly since I believe Feb of 2020. I am very happy with the service and the food. The meals arrive every Friday and when I get home from work they are on my front stoop. I unpackage them and they are consistently well insulated within the box and iced to keep them cool until I unwrap and put them into the refrigerator. The quality of the food is awesome and well seasoned. There are several meals that do not appeal to me only because of my own issues. I must say I'm not sure where the Chicken comes from but it has to be the best tasting, most plump, and Grissel less chicken I have ever had. This service works well for me since I'm single and it can get very hard to cook a decent meal for one person, unless you want to eat the same meals all week, which I used to do but gets old. Everything about Freshly I'm very satisfied and will continue to order cause it works well for me.

The food is well prepared and packaged. The food is consistent and very tasty. There are lots of options each week to choose from. And every once in a while a new dish will pop up, with that said it'd be nice if there were a few more new items on a regular basis rotated in or to provide more variety to those who order every week.

I love the meals. They are so convenient for me and filling too. I love having a quick but healthy option. I would rather a lower salt content, but I can deal with that. I was a bit skeptical at first, due to reviews about late or missing meals, but I've always received mine on time (so far).

We love cooking and eating. We also wanted to find a meal plan to help us enjoy what we ate while being more conscious of how much we were eating. First step was trying Freshly. Our first order was last December. We have been so pleased with the quality, consistency and choices, that we have continued. I personally love that the meals are gluten free with many in the 400-500 calorie range. I notice I feel so much better, and I personally feel this has helped me loose weight by simply making this one change of managing what I eat for dinner. We really look forward to dinner time! I feel we spend about the same, the food is very good, satisfying, and we don't feel like binge eating the rest of the evening (we aren't perfect but it really is a lot less often). Packaging is almost entirely recyclable, and delivery has been so consistent. Freshly has been a home run for us!

The Good: I love saving time while grocery shopping and no longer having to pre-plan my dinners. I also approve of the ingredients, which are generally healthy and without preservatives. I also found their delivery to be reliable and the skip a week feature is handy. The Bad: Sometimes I skip a week just based on cost. 6 meals for $60 is a good price when compared with eating out, but I find that when I do cook, I can often make my dinners for less. Also, while it sounds counter-intuitive, I sometimes wish the meals weren't so healthy. Too much cauliflower pasta instead of real pasta noodles, opting for baked everything or adding more spices instead of just deep-frying or adding some salt and breading, etc. Sometimes I don't want an alternative but would actually prefer the real thing. (Note: This is most common with their Whole Comfort and Take Out Twists meal categories.) I would also recommend adding a new menu every few weeks to keep things fresh. I find myself eating the same meals over and over again because there were just a few I enjoy. Overall, Freshly is a great concept, but their effort falls a bit short of the mark for me personally. I have been purchasing Freshly meals for the past year and a half. The sizes are perfect for me and I generally pack some away for lunch the next day. I have tried 3/4 of the meals and have never been let down. There are a lot of choices.
They are always delivered on time and packed beautifully in the boxes. They come fresh and ready to microwave. Very simple preparation.
I would highly recommend Freshly as it is easy, convenient, healthy, tasty and priced just right. ENJOY!
