I don't care that much for the dishes with all small pieces of protein. I like the whole chicken breast and the steak. Would love to have pork chop. I am not crazy about kale, too many of the meals have kale.

I've tried a number of dishes but end up favoring the steak peppercorn and chicken with mac 'n cheese as eternal favorites. All dishes are excellent but sadly I can't tolerate anything spicy so I lust after a lot a I can't try. Adding microwaved frozen vegetables to luscious country chicken mash or other dishes with pureed or creamy base doubles your dinners deliciously (sorry).

If I had to rate the quality, selection, taste, etc., it would be 5 stars. However, when I have to spend an hour on the phone when the package is mis-delivered, that defeats the whole purpose of the service. It seems I'm not the only one, and management better start making changes because you will loose myself and other customers very quickly!

I'm in my 2nd week of trying the 6 meal per week plan. The website is easy to navigate, selections are well presented and advance email notification is provided allowing for final order modifications. Order packaging is a rather bulky-the food comes in a cardboard box containing 3 large, recyclable ice packs & padding. I live in a small condo with no storage space so storing bulky items are a minor pain. The food packaging itself is minimal-a cardboard sleeve over a plastic tray. Easy to follow directions require heating in the microwave. The food is high quality, everything cooked well without becoming overcooked or dry. My criticism is everything seemed to taste the same. There was a particular flavor or ingredient that I haven't been able to put my finger on which ran through all of the meals except for one. It left an aftertaste, staying with me well after dinner was finished. I really wanted to like Freshly-I love the convenience and the price point works for me. But after trying all of week 1, felt like I was forcing myself to eat week 2 meals so as to not waste them.

I would order a lot more if the Sodium content was much less! As someone with Hypertension, I find it difficult to find choices that fit within my dietary restrictions. While I can deal with a bit of Dairy, ( lactose intolerant) it seems like I'm painted into a corner with very few choices that fit my needs. Of the 3 Food Delivery Services I have tried, Freshly has the potential to be the answer to my Daily Dinner Dilemma, if only they can reduce the amount of Sodium.

The meals that I have received have been great. They are healthy portions without all the calories. The variations are great. They have new meals all the time. I appreciate that this comes to my door and I don't have to cook.

No complaints. The food is really good and really filling. I was the type of person who would eat a meal and a couple hours later feel hungry again and with Freshly the meal fill me up for a good 6-8 hours. The convenience of microwavable meals that taste home made is fantastic.

We have been using this service since the winter. Honestly the dinners are delicious, healthy and filling. We get 6 meals pretty much every week and love them.

We get tired of eating the same thing in a month. Everything starts to taste the same after awhile. Not enough changes in available selections, but better than having to cook three days a week I guess.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.

Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
