Christopher addressed my missing shipment in a quick, friendly manner. He saw that my shipment was still in transit and had already past the limit for safe consumption. My shipment was then refunded.

The entire ordering and dining experience has been wonderful. Unfortunately, Our June 10th delivery must be our last. This has nothing to do with the quality of your product or service. We simply have medical and dietary requirements which will not allow us to continue. Please send nothing more after the June 10 order. Thank-you for letting us enjoy your meals.

Getting weekly meals from Freshly has been so good and so easy. There are many different styles of meals to choose from and they are not super expensive. At first I thought the portions were a little small, but they are actually perfectly sized.
The customer service has been great even the time that I was late changing a menu item. All ingredients are listed(and descriptions of the benefits included).
I will definitely continue to order from Freshly.
The food is great (IF you receive it on your scheduled delivery date or one day late). My last several orders have been 3 to 5 days late (no longer edible). Freshly acts like this is unusual yet it keeps happening. I'm sure the delivery varies depending on where you live. But it has been very disappointing for me.

AxleHire delivery will lose your packages making the 2 good parts of this business drop down to 1 out 5 stars. Out of 3 weeks, I recieved 1 box and have 2 missing boxes... find a better partnering delivery service or continue to lose customers. I will be canceling my membership and go to a competitive business that can DELIVER their goods.

Overall, I'm happy with Freshly. Their chicken is probably the best pre-cooked chicken I've ever had - always super moist, yet fully cooked. I probably like about 75% of their preparations, though I think the menu should change more. Typically they'll introduce a new dish once every week or two, leaving most of the other dishes there. I still like their menu approach better than the services that change the entire menu every week. Usually, delivery is not a problem, but during the holiday season they had a lot of missed or late deliveries (they are really good about crediting the purchase if the delivery is late). Additionally, they really need to talk to their delivery service about keeping their boxes set on the proper side rather than standing them on end, which can completely mess up the dishes in the their trays.

I am a fairly new Freshly member (I have gotten three deliveries) and the deliveries are always on time and delivered with care. The meals are very good. My one suggestion, and something I would like to see going forward, is a few more options on types of meals offered. I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't eat red meat or pork. That cuts out about half of your selections for me. All the meals I choose have chicken. While I like chicken, I would rather not have that as my only choice (I currently am on a four day plan). I would like to see some vegetarian and fish entree options also. I miss the fish options. I originally tried the six day option, but cut back to four, mostly because I don't want to be eating chicken six days a week. I want more variety in my diet. I will prepare at home (probably from frozen) the other meals, or get them from drive through. I very much would like to see some vegetarian and fish entrees to choose from every week.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
