Chatted with DJ about the fact that I was processed a refund, but still got my box of food. Wanted to make things right with the company and they decided to leave it be, giving me a free week of food! Great company, great food, excellent service.
Having tried a couple of in-home delivery services, I can honestly say the food and customer service that Freshly provides is excellent!
When me last food-box was lost in shipment, Freshly tracked the package and alerted me that it had been lost and not to consume the food if I received the food late. They also informed me that I would receive a full credit. Their on-line chat is expedient and professional as well.
Really love the personalized, on-time service and the healthy and delicious food from Freshly! This is my second year enjoying their meals and see no reason to change.

I chatted with Precious who immediately helped with a refund and cancellation of service. This was my first order so bummed I couldn't check them out but can't do business with a company that can't even follow through on their first order. May need to revisit the delivery company and enforce where they place the packages.
Hi Christy! Thank you for your honest review. I'm sad to hear the delivery was made late, apparently not at your door, and taken from you! With Covid-19 concerns, I do know that many carriers are very concerned for the safety of their drivers, which leads to the occasional package not being left conveniently at one's door. I'm sad this may have occurred. But, I'm happy the Precious provided you excellent customer service for a tough situation. Thank you for letting us know!
Precious helped me with an issue I had with a meal that had not maintained its freshness by the "Fresh By Date". I was very impressed with the speed of service and how quickly my concern was handled. I received a refund (and then some) for my meal. I am impressed! I love Freshly meals and will continue to receive them! They are the BEST ready to eat meal delivery service I have experienced! My fiance and I struggled with other food delivery services because we would be exhausted or lazy and wouldn't want to cook. I love how easy Freshly is and I love that the food is healthy and portion controlled. Additionally, they provide great service. DJ was very courteous and helpful when I was accidentally sent one incorrect meal on my recent order. He was able to arrange a money back credit. I'm very happy with this service!

I had an issue with my order being cancelled... I was trying to cancel a future delivery, but inadvertently cancelled my main order. I was fortunate to get Reg to help me via their chat feature in the Freshly app and he was able to get my order back. Lesson learned... don't cancel future orders until you've received your current order or that will be cancelled as well. Great service via the app.

I like the menu choice and variety and taste of all the various dishes. And I can recycle the sleeve and the dish the food comes in.

I am super impressed with both the customer service and product I received. My product had been in the refrigerator at home for 2 days and it is so well packed that the ice pack is still frozen. I had changes to my order due to change in my work and the customer service rep, John D., was totally patient, understanding, and helpful. Have been a Freshly customer for about 10 months now and have been happy with my service. Only once in those 10 months did they actually miss a shipment, but I was promptly refunded and offered an additional credit. Meals overall are great -- some not so great but you just don't re-order those in future weeks. The menu is pretty expansive and new items are added regularly. The few times I've had to contact customer service I've had little/no wait time and the service quality is consistently top notch (thanks Reg & all the others!).

I had questions regarding food allergies. Alex F. Answered my questions and I felt comfortable ordering from Freshly. He was knowledgeable, polite and provided comprehensive information such as links for the menu and how to order so I can flag ingredients we need to stay away from.

Rogen was great in helping me with a question/issue I had with my order. I very much appreciate his help. The food is pretty good - seems a bit pricey for what you get since they taste pretty much like frozen lean cuisine meals, but it does seem more fresh and it's nice it is delivered to your door. Overall, satisfied.

Freshly has been great for helping me keep on track with my diet when I can't cook or to take to work - all the food tastes real (because it's not frozen), and always well-seasoned (a big thing for me). My coworkers always ask me about my meals!

Answer: Hi Marc, Thanks for your inquiry! At this time we change one meal per week, typically. We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
