This is a great social networking tool for those in an academic environment. It provides a way for users to keep in touch with current and former classmates, while avoiding a lot of the distractions that are present on other networks. The interface is simple, and the administrators have taken many precautions to prevent users from creating a false personality, which protects other users. FreezeCrowd fits into it's own niche, and provides users with a unique experience. On the other hand, FreezeCrowd allows users to share their status updates by linking to their twitter account. As a college student, I absolutely love freezecrowd. It's an awesome and safe alternative to Facebook, so I actually feel comfortable putting my last name on it. I especially like how easy it is to choose who can see your profile, message you, etc. I had to jump through hoops to get those settings on other social media sites.
Facebook is quickly losing popularity, and I think freezecrowd will take its place. It's really useful for networking, and for finding people with similar interests! It's definitely a legitimate, safe, and fun site!

FreezeCrowd is great for those who travel, are in team sports, go to parties or just like to take lots of pics! The site is gorgeous and is creatively based off of that old saying, "break the ice." The site even offers the ability to set a "schedule to melt time," which basically means you can decide how long your status stays up, or you can just leave it be, no worries! A fun, addictive site for those who want to keep up with the people they meet!

I love FreezeCrowd! It's a very clever idea, and I like the legitimacy of it that comes from the fact that you have to have a verified college email in order to register. It really is a niche website, and it is not overcluttered or aggravating like facebook. It's a much better way to connect with alumni and friends I believe, because it is a small group and the memories and pictures are much more community based. You are able to keep track of memories, and they aren't forgotten because they are specialized. This more exclusive way of social networking is really exciting, and I think that the well-designed platform, and the genuinely unique and clever ideas will get them far and keep their users.

I am in love with FreezeCroud. It is a beautiful, clean, simple, and very helpful site. The site is simple to understand, so you can get everything fast and easy. There, I can find everything I need: amazing restaurants, museums, cool places to go, and a great communication between friends and classmates. Just drag and drop the ice cube and a generous list of suggestions will appear just in front of your eyes. FreezeCrowd is amazing!

I felt this site was great in the sense that it is what Facebook used to be before it was available to the general public, a university student and alumni exclusive service. It is a niche that has been deserted by Facebook I feel and this site has the potential to really grow in the niche and connect again with students who are finding Facebook to be increasingly invasive. I don't agree with any negative comments, I think it manages to connect people together in a more simple format than Facebook (which has become too cluttered) and this works very well. The only minor gripe I have with it is that not many people know about it yet but hopefully this will change soon. I see ideas like this as a great future middle ground between Facebook and Twitter.

At this time FreezeCrowd currently accept school email addresses at most colleges and universities in the United States and Canada making this a much more exclusive site than other social networks. As for safety: Norton Safe Web found no issues with this site. Sucuri SiteCheck reported Verified Clean, Not Blacklisted. Google Malware Diagnostic Tool reported this site as safe. Ratings and Stats were as listed at time of this review.
