Helped me get my 1099 for my vendors completed right before the deadline! Efiled for a reasonable price including them mailing them a copy and emailing them a copy. Great!
What a waste of time, I hate when companies are not up front about a price then waste all your time filling everything out to find out the price at the end. Make it clear before wasting peoples valuable time.
THESE GUYS ARE A FRAUD TAKE MY NAME MY MONEY AND FOR NOTHING NO DOCS NO TEMPLATES NO NOTHING! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A MESS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! DONT GO THERE! STAY AWAY! THERE IS NOTHING FOR FREE IS A SCAM AND THEY WILL CHARGE YOU HARD AND WITHOUT HESITATION DONT GO THERE YOU ARE WARNED
FormSwift had charged me for 3 months before I even caught it! The free trial is a very unprofessional way to help busy small business owners! I wear many hats and needed a quick form. I truly thought one time use was free and then you would sign up after that IF YOU LIKED THE SERVICE! NOT SO!
I came here under the guise that it was free from the website. Worked on an assignment without any indication I had to pay to export, then when I tried to export, everything got deleted and I was forced to pay a fee. A scam, don't waste your time on it. Save tool does NOT work.
I was in a rush to create a professional bill of sale and landed on Formswift.com. In no time at all my document was ready for printing. If I were a professional company in need of these types of services I would be subscribed to Formswift without a doubt. The ease of access and document organization is a time saving tool. The Support staff are also customer oriented, as they should be.
Very deceptive adverting! Site advertises FREE will and after you spend 20min filling out the form, you are FORCED to purchase the will for $59 or abandon the form. There should be a governmental or business regulatory organization that can force FormSwift to cease and desist with false advertising and/or initiate a class action law suit.
I desperately needed to convert my pdf to a word document and I stumbled across this page in high hopes of achieving this goal. After I inputted all my data (which included about 8 pages) I was notified that I had to pay for this. It did not tell me this before i actually started and instead waited until I clicked the download button. As a college student, I simply am not in a steady financial position to be spending ridiculous amounts of money like this. After exiting the payment page, I was greeted with my blank document. ALL of the data that I inputted had somehow disappeared. I was very upset and disappointed as I had worked quite a few hours trying to complete this.
In June, I used their service one time through a free trial to combine pages in a document, later realizing that it was easier to do this through the Adobe Acrobat reader software directly. Well, while looking through my July credit card bill, I found a charge from them for $100! I quickly canceled my subscription from my account on their website. Apparently, I'd accidentally signed up for their annual subscription. In the cancellation email, it stated that if I had any extra charges, I could email them or call them, and gave me the necessary information. I emailed them, and within a few hours they emailed back saying that they were issuing a full refund! It included instructions on what to do to follow up if necessary, and let me know that the refund should be issued within 5 business days. If something changes and I do not receive a refund within the next 5 business days as promised, I will update this review.
UPDATE: They refunded $90 of my $100. Considering the service charges that were likely involved, that's good 'nough for me!:-)
Getting the form I needed was easy. It was overcharge on my cc for a month when I didn't agree too. SPOILER ALERT! It is not free. Watch your bank account or CC statement,
Why are all these document software companies using the same lame marketing strategy. If your service is a subscription service, SAY SO. Don't pretend to be free until you get their email address and then say "just kidding. We're actually a subscription service but we'll give you 30 days free if you give us your credit card number." Thanks for wasting my time FormSwift. I'll be sure never to use or recommend your services to anyone. Does honesty and integrity mean nothing anymore? I guess I'll never know how good the service really is because the marketing department just cost FormSwift a customer for life.
Just went onto the FormSwift FREE website (so they claim) and filled out all the required information. When completed they asked for my credit card information and wanted $5.95. What happened to the FREE templates.
STAY AWAY from false marketing!
Evidently 15 months ago when I needed necessary forms for a passport there was some small print "$29.95 FREE TRIAL" offer monthly charges that started rolling on my account. I called and spoke with a representative 2 months ago but she couldn't explain to me why I was getting charged and instructed me to contact my bank. I'm a super busy contractor and local branches are closed due to covid 19. Billing stopped for one month but then resumed this month. Called in again and got someone who could cancel this USELESS service and wasted draft from my bank account. Conclusion: DECEPTIVE SNEEKY BUSINESS PRACTICES AND INCOMPETENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Stay away from this comapany!
After signing up for their trial membership for $1.95, I received access to their glitchy software and immediately realized this was not going to work for my business. So I called FormSwift to cancel and was told there would be no further charges or action needed. Given that, I filed this away as complete and didn't give it a second thought. Months later, after doing an audit of my account, I now see that they continued to charge my account! I reached back out to customer service on 5. 14. 20, and "Tasha" claims that there was no record of my cancellation. How convenient. Especially when I now see HUNDREDS of similar negative reviews and complaints on the same issue. Now I continue to receive automated emails that are asking for my bank account, routing number, and address (!) so they can provide a refund. Why would I ever give them confidential banking information!?! They were able to charge my credit card monthly without it, they should be able to provide a refund easily!
We are students and signed up to fill out one form and paid to have a pass for one day. We never received a confirmation email on our purchase let alone any other email from them. I went back on their website to look for a receipt a couple days ago and I couldn't find anything so I called the bank. They had been charging us $33 a month for the past three months without informing us. We have no emails anywhere telling us they were charging us. I even chatted with them to ask for receipts of them charging us 4 days ago and I still have nothing from them. They took $100 from us without telling us. I wouldn't trust them every again it is better to use a different site.
Do not use this website. It is very unorganized and it does not export the documents. Do NOT recommend using.
It said forms are 100% FREE. Not true! After filling out my document for 20 minutes, they asked me to pay $59 to print or export the form! It's a trap. Don't use this company!
I completed my document and when I tried to share it, it said you have to pay. So I tried sharing it to my own email, and it said it was sent, but it never sent. Additionally, when I clicked back to my document, all my work was gone. The customer service number does not exist. I hope this company gets more reviews like this so people stay away.
Just got charged. Sent cancellations. I was under the impression mine was free one time. I will change my review if I get a refund.
After first completing a document that Formswift made fillable, that I thought was "free" as they advertise, I then had to sign up and give them my cc info to get the document that was being held hostage.
Then once I did this, the pdf is too large to be downloaded.
Their suggestion? Print it out and complete by hand!
What a joke of a company whose premise is that they've made documents fillable to ease completion.
