FoodNetwork Reviews Summary

The company's reputation is increasingly tarnished by customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived declines in programming quality and a lack of engaging content. Viewers express frustration over repetitive shows, perceived arrogance from hosts, and a shift away from the original cooking-centric focus. Additionally, customers report poor customer service, citing unresponsive support regarding issues such as lost recipes. While some fans still appreciate select shows, the overall sentiment indicates a longing for a return to the network's foundational values of culinary education and inspiration, suggesting a need for significant content and service improvements.

Very disappointed in food network. Where are the cooking shows? I used to watch Ina, Giadda, Ree, and others. Now just silly competitions that dont teach me anything!

Going Downhill
January 3, 2018

I use to love watching this channel in the evening all the time! Now, the only good nights are Tues, Wed, and Thurs. The rest are useless. A weekend of Diners, Drive- Ins, and whatever are for the birds!

Guy Fieri.
He can't cook!
He is smug and arrogant!
He is a prejudice prick, and yet he does not get fired.
I will keep changing that channel along with the rest of America until there is no longer a food network left.

Lately, there are so many adds, I'm unable to view a recipe without being interrupted by a pop-up add. And for the past two days, I'm literally unable to view anything on the site via on my phone because an add takes up the entire screen, and I see no way to close the add.

The Kitchen
December 4, 2017

Cancel it!!! Although there is a lot of helpful information, the cast is terrible. Sunny and Jeff....obnoxious...they both try too hard. Marciela simply annoying. Jeffrey is a stuffed shirt and this is not his forte'. Katie, though dry is the star of the show...informative and calm.

Why on earth would the 4 hosts be so very loud?
Would like to watch
Can't
The screaming and talking over each other is 100 times worse than the program " The View"
What the heck is wrong with them?

Drug induced haze
November 16, 2017

The Poineer Woman seems to be on something and the constant games on the channel are silly. The channel needs to be sold so a new owner can bring life back to teaching people how to cook.

Food network has always been one of my favorite channels, not so much anymore. I'm tired of all the competition shows, so many of them. I would like to learn some recipes and new cooking techniques. I love DDD, but it's on way to much and it's always years old.

Bring back Paula Dean
October 22, 2017

I just spent my Sunday morning watching Food Network, I am very disappointed with all of your southern replacements for Ms. Dean. They all seem to pale in comparrison to her "spark." Damaris, Farmhouse Rules and Trisha are super boring and their recipes have been done over and over again. I used to be glued to Food Network. The only star you have with a draw is Guy. He keeps you entertained. Please tuck your tail between your legs and go apologize to her. Please bring her back. I know I can not be the only one who feels this way. Your network is drowning with these boring hosts. Paula was like everyone else more down to earth and believable than living on a 200 acre ranch in Montana. Please give Guy with the personality more shows and less air time to the robots of your network. Some constructive criticism. I am a physical therapist and my entire group used to watch FN on our lunch hour, not anymore. I know my patients respond better to a therapist with a sense of humor and someone down to earth than others who are too polished and mechanical. Sorry if harsh want to be a loyal watcher again. It is mostly just boring, tired reality competition shows. There isn't anything but Chopped, Next food network star, all boring shows. I miss the halloween specials by Martha Stewart, the thanksgiving specials by Alton Brown and even Wrapped. Every time I'm feeling nostalgic and try to give food network another chance, there is a dumb cake wars show. I'll stick to youtube.

Maybe a cooking show
October 17, 2017

I've got a idea. Why don't you maybe turn this network into a cooking show. You could have people on that know a little about cooking. They don't have to be chefs they don't have to be cooks. Because right now you don't you have kids, worst cooks (that's what you call them) you have people that you chop. All kidding aside food network has changed and I think not for the good. This may not go anywhere but that's ok at least I tried. Gary

All I ever see is DDD and Chopped and today it's The Kitchen all morning. And I'm sick of every B level celebrity having their own show. Where is the cooking? And as for the sister network Cooking it is even worse. This morning it is Food Quest with Robin Leach. He is painful to look at and has nothing NOTHING of value to say.

This woman just gets more and more rude. She purposely walks in front of the rest of the hosts and blocks them. She acts like she is starved to death getting to taste the food. She also loud and annoying. You would think the producers would tell her to chill out.

Fieri, Flay, Giada onscreen ad nauseum. The Kitchen - eliminate Jeff (goofball) and Sunny (boisterous, uncouth, and greedy). Stop the FAWNING over GZ. (If he chops celery, it's the most perfectly chopped they have ever seen.). Some of the recipes are pedestrian. Valued most are tips, recipes from Ina, Rachael, Damaris, Bobby (on his show, not competing). Sadly reality shows taken over. Please listen to viewers.

The Food Network used to be entertaining and educational. Now it's a thumping bore, thanks to Guy Fieri and Sunny. Both of these television harridans just enjoy chewing on anything in front of them and the scenery. I cannot stand them. Guy especially comes off as a crass, self absorbed redneck whose actual recipes and restaurant are all terrible. I tossed out his book ages ago and his NY restaurant is purely a trap for ignorant tourists. Sunny just comes off as the worst kind of cook... one who bites into anything and leaves it on the counter and she never seems to wash her hands. Between these two and your ridiculous kid cooking shows, I'm staying away for a long while. Your entire network programming lacks creativity. Time to reboot!
