: this company is deceptive. The flower delivered do not match what was purchased and they will not issue a refund. I purchased the deluxe arrangement and received an arrangement with little to no flowers for $160.00

I can't believe this is happening! All I wanted was to send flowers for my husband while I was away from home. I was so excited when I found this flower vase, because his favorite flower is iris and his favorite color is blue. I ordered that night and called customer service next morning to make sure he'd be getting what was in the picture. I asked if you'll have any substitutions and she said no. I also asked about the arrival time (to make sure he'd be at home) but she only said they'd send me an email when the flower truck is leaving. She wasn't very nice but it was all okay so far.
I was busy later that morning and when I checked the email, the flowers were apparently already on the way with a substitution. When I called customer service to ask, they said the iris was substituted by statice. She said that it was because I didn't leave any notes about substitutions when I ordered. I told her but that's why I called earlier in the morning, to check, but she said that was a different person--and since the customer service notes didn't say anything about subs, she needs to listen to the recorded call to check if I really didn't want substitutions. But she couldn't listen to it right then, so she'd be in touch tomorrow after she finds out.
You mean, after the flowers are already delivered and everything? Yes.
There were no apologies, no inkling of a hint that she felt at all sorry that I was upset at this change which took out the reason I ordered the flowers. I got the photo from my husband later that evening (even when the flower truck left, they didn't know what time it would arrive, and said "it will get there by 8pm at the latest." It was around 3 when I called. That's a large window of time.) and saw the statices were purple. So the substitution wasn't even with the same color.
This morning, I checked my missed call and found the message. It was unbelievable! She acknowledged that I called to ask if there will be substitutions, and that they said no. And then, apparently, after they hung up they "found out" there will have to be substitutions. Since I hadn't "told them that I didn't want substitutions," they had the freedom to switch it out. There were still no apologies.
Here's a question: what kind of an idiot would say "I still don't want any substitutions in any case" to a person saying there won't be any subs? Am I missing something here?
I'm not unreasonable. I know a mistake like this can happen, and I know things can run out. They didn't mean to substitute the flowers at first. But when they found out, they could have a) called me to ask if it's okay (they have my number) or, if they failed that, then they could have at least responded with some apology--and I could have understood, if there was no other choice. But they are only mentioning the policy, and that "it's unfortunate that this happened" and never said sorry. This is the email I got:
"We want to inform you the called was listened and were asked if we were making any substitutions on the order, but at the time we were not aware about the iris being substituted to Statice, nor were we advised by your end not to make any substitutions. Unfortunately, the substitution was made and if you have a complaint with what was delivered please attach picture to this email."
Come to think of it, when I first called to check for subs, the person who picked up didn't even sound as if she's checking if there will be any. I guess that's one way to do business--just tell the customer they'll be getting what they order, and then if that can't happen, tell them "they didn't know." From beginning to end, I've never seen this kind of customer service. And speaking of policy, it says that whenever the substitutions are needed, they would only substitute items of equal or higher value. I hardly think statices are the same value as the iris.
Just look at the site and the prices; this is not a cheap, bargain business. I'm guessing any customer will expect professionalism when considering ordering here. So unless you want your flowers substituted to lower values without your agreement, and be told that it's your fault for not telling them no, I advise you to think again before ordering from here!
Bouquet a day late and 1/4 of the size with 0 flower matching pctures. Their offer? Refund $10. Awful company, stay away. And look at the pictures, see what you get compared what's on their website. Paid for premium, by the way.
I placed an order 10 days in advance for a Christmas arrangement to be delivered on the Friday before Christmas. The company contacted me a few days later to let me know that they would have to DOUBLE the amount charged in order to deliver the order because of the location of the residence (in Honolulu). I okayed this. On the day it was supposed to have been delivered, they contacted me again to say that they couldn't deliver that day as promised, but that they would deliver it on the next business day. As this was still in time for Christmas, I agreed. On that new delivery date, I was again informed that they wouldn't be able to deliver that day but would on the next. I okayed this. I didn't hear anything else from the company until three days AFTER Christmas when I was told that they weren't able to deliver the order. When asked why, I was told that the florist had run out of flowers. Again, I asked that the arrangement be delivered as soon as possible. The last correspondence from them, many days later, was to inform me that they had cancelled the order. If you wish an arrangement to arrive at its destination and at the cost indicated on the website, DO NOT use this website.
I ordered flowers on the 19th to be delivered on the 23rd for a Dinner Party for the 25th they said I okay'd a December the 26th Delivery Date. WHY would I do that knowing the Dinner is the 25th? I wouldn't. So the flowers didn't arrive. A Dinner Party with no Centerpiece. They don't delivery on time and they lie when they don't get it there. Then when you call them they have no idea who the Florist is that was suppose to deliver them and they say that are going to charge me a service fee. Can you imagine that... the flowers never arrived
Placed order online 10 days in advance and was not notified of any problems. When order had not arrived by next day, I emailed to see what had happened. Turns out they didn't have a florist in the area and cancelled the order without telling me. So now it looks like I didn't send a gift and is too late to replace. Terribly disappointing!
I ordered a plant and fruit basket from their website. I read their substitution policy. What was delivered to my sister-in-law was a fruit basket, no plant. When I complained, I was told that the local florist abided by their substitution policy. I asked why there was no plant? If the specific plant quoted in their website wasn't available, then a different plant should have been included in the basket. In response, I was offered a 15% refund, which I grudgingly accepted. However, I have yet to see it.
I placed an order few weeks ago. The next day I placed an order they called me and said that they are not able to deliver on Sundays, despite on the website it says otherwise. So, I rescheduled and made them deliver on Saturday.
On the day of the delivery, they call me and say: "We cannot deliver today we have too many orders. And also, we are out of the flowers you want"
So, not only they are not able deliver the order that I specifically placed in advanced, they also don't have even a flowers I ordered.
Seriously?! What the service is this! People, just don't even bother!
No on can explain why there was no delivery as they cannot reach the flower shop... don't care, I paid FlowerShopping not the flower shop... worst customer service I have ever experienced! BUYER BEWARE... CALL A LOCAL FLORIST!
Look at the photos. I order a CENTERPIECE with candles, pine cones, holly, roses and got the mess attached. They tried to tell me it fit within their substitution policy which says same or better quality. No candles, No pinecones, No holly, No roses. No mums. 2 carnations and alstroemeria. This looks like i put it together myself from the grocery store. For $70 and they offered a 20% discount for my dissatisfaction. DO not use these people!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR FLOWER ORDERS! If i could give negative stars I would. I placed an order then immediately cancelled due to the additional (ridiculous) charges. The person I spoke to CONFIRMED the order was cancelled. I proceeded to use a different vendor and received an email from flowershopping that my order was delivered. I was charged for the order and in calling customer service was told that same day delivery could not be cancelled. This was not mentioned to me when I called to cancel. If I was made aware of this, i would not have ordered from a different vendor. When I called customer service, they advised that the order could be picked up for a partial refund which is absolutely absurd, sorry your mother died but we're going to have to take that arrangement back. I was then offered a 10% refund, which would amount to $8 after I paid $115. I also saw a picture of the $115 arrangement. It was not even close to the picture online - it looked pathetic. I've been given the runaround from customer service ever since and upper management has still not contacted me.
I am devastated! I spent $100.00 for a premium order and got nothing even close to the picture! I wanted purple Rose's! I will never do this again!
Ordered yesterday early morning for same day delivery for granddaughters first dance recital. No delivery yet, no explanation given. "Estimated" delivery TOMORROW? Two days late. No concessions offered other than a refund of the same day delivery charge. Very disappointed. Will NEVER use them again.
Flowers delivered on time (woo!)
However, the flowers were poor quality and died after 2 days.
Flowers were not as pictured on the site either. When I contacted customer support they basically told me to kick rocks.
CoolNever ordering from these scam artists again.
Complete fail by this company! I went searching for an arrangement that included a stuffed animal because mom really doesn't like flowers and I wanted her to have a keepsake. The disclaimer of substituting flowers and container I was perfectly fine with. When the arrangement arrived they had substituted a 1 1/2 inch wooden bee on a stick for the stuffed animal. I called the florist and flowershopping.com and got no satisfaction. They felt what I got was of equal or higher value. So shopper beware, you may not get what you paid for!
They cancel my order 1.5 hour before delivery time! Stay away from this company! Apologies do not change the situation I have without flowers to my love one...
I ordered a bouquet for my mom's birthday. She got it on time, and the flowers were fresh. However, the vase was a SIMPLE GLASS VASE which you can buy in any grocery store, BUT it was supposed to be delivered in a SILVER REFLECTIONS vase; the green fillers were not even close to what is shown at the picture, the balloon was barely blown up. The bouquet looked nice, but far from what I ordered. When I sent them a message with my complaints, they answered me with a copy and paste message offering 10% off, later they offered me 20% off. However, when I called them, the guy on phone started out very well, then he put me on hold, and when he was back, he was extremely rude to me, didn't want to listen to me at all just kept interrupting and saying "Do you accept 20% or no? This is the maximum we can offer; do you accept 20% or no? Do you accept or no?" And as soon as I said OK, he just hung up. I paid for the bouquet over $100 CAD, but I can buy a very similar one almost two times cheaper in Metro or anywhere else. There are so many other sites where I can buy flowers online. This was the worst experience for me.
Update: The flowers looked fresh when they were delivered, but actually they were not. The bouquet of this type of flowers could stay at least 2 weeks or even 3 if it was fresh, however, today, in 3 days from delivery these flowers are ready to go to the garbage bin. None of the lilies had a chance to open, chrysanthemums got bent. I still didn't get the 20% off that were promised to be returned to my card. On the top of that, I can not leave my review on flowershopping.com.
I ordered flowers for a loved on in the hospital and wanted them delivered same day and paid the extra fee and ordered it before they time they said in order for it to be delivered same day and then they tell me they can't deliver it same day hours later. What kind of company does this and does stay true to their word. And then when I called the customer service people they were outrageously rude and wouldn't give me a full refund and still deliver the flowers. Only an upgrade like no what I wanted was the flowers I wanted to be delivered the same day that's what I paid for.
This is a terrible company. They claim that the flowers I was sent as a surprise were delivered to my home. That they knocked on both the front and side door and left them on the step when no one answered. I was home that day and expecting a package I had ordered, I checked the front and side doors multiple times and was only alerted once by my dog that someone was at the door when the package I was expecting was delivered. They either didn't deliver the flowers or made no attempt to notify the recipient. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES! A floral delivery service that does NOT deliver!
My beloved sister died suddenly at a young age and I ordered a $300.00 casket spray bouquet from them. I received DEAD FLOWERS! This was even after I paid extra for the bouquet to be made on Sunday so the flowers would be fresh for a funeral first thing on Monday morning. They refused to refund my purchase even after I sent them a video and pictures documenting that the flowers were dead. I am going to report them to the consumer protection agency and I would ask that everyone does that as well. STAY AWAY! By the way I never write reviews. This is the third review I have ever written about a product after more than a decade of intense online shopping. Their customer service is unacceptable!
The worst. Simply the worst. Ordered flowers for delivery before 1 p.m. on a Friday and paid extra for a rush. I received a call saying they could not meet the deadline. I requested a Monday delivery, AND THEY STILL COULD NOT FULFILL THE ORDER. They didn't even offer any kind of compensation for their blatant incompetence. What is their job again?
