My purchase had concierge and the guy did nothing. Escrow didn't accept my payment and he did nothing to help. Every response took 24 hours or more. I was encouraged to use the Flippa contract, which I had to pay for, but it was a total waste of money.
Flippa didn't deliver on their promise and I was left with a unusable account. When buyer received the account she purchased she should have 7 days to inspect it, not a month. Because she couldn't verify with amazon I'm now left with an unusable account. Flippa won't refund me back either.
Don't rush in make sure you check all the fine print. Make sure the seller is set up correctly for transactions from the purchase via escrow. If not don't go there. Walk away.
Such a bad customer service. None of my questions was answered. Horrible experience. They were passing my questions to a different employees for whole 2 weeks (i just wanted to have phone call with them so they can tell me tips on hot to sell my store in a right and safe way-$200.000 worth with their potential broker) but nothing happens. Don't recommend
Bought a website from Flippa to run my own home business selling pet toys. Overall the transfer of the website was smooth although sometimes the seller had taken long to communicate.
Somewhat satisfied with my experience, had the fortune to have worked with decent people. Recommended anytime.
Flippa needs to look at their fees. There are so many new competitors out there with better marketplaces that charge ZERO fees for selling your site.
When the Seller and I agreed to everything Flippa actually was the one slowing down the process because they were too slow to enable Escrow. It's embarrassing that Flippa takes a 7,5% success fee and it cost money to list and then their response time is days.
The last time I'm selling anything on Flippa with these fees.
Sellers didn't follow guidelines, even after winning auction seller was allowed to go with some other buyer which is unprofessional. Flippa was involved directly but did nothing
Stressful but successful I don't have 50 characters to type
Hi All,
Flippa does not protect their sellers. I am a blogger, someone named (Justin) read my comment on any blog where I usually post comments and that person (Justin) reach me via my email (he got from blog) in which he offered me that *If I pay him $250/month then he will help me to generate fake revenue to boost my sale on Flippa* I was not agreed with it. I reported Flippa 4rth August but until today they did not replied me + they did not took action against that guy Justin. This clearly shows that the Flippa does not protect their seller but only those post scam/spam comments.
Thank you
I expected from the hype that I'd sell my business for what I listed it for within a couple of weeks. OK, I can wait, so it went a couple of months. Then, I finally got an offer for about 1/2 of what I had hoped to get and only got 2/3 of that up front and will have to wait a year to get the rest. The buyer was unresponsive and slow and it became quite an issue as he required we extend the already-agreed-upon closing date by two more weeks. The closing date was nearly a month ago and things have not all been settled yet. I'm not sure I would use this method again without a lot more investigation. The team at flippa.com was trying, and helpful, but it ended up that I just got a new buyer that didn't understand how things worked.
Everything went smooth and my customer was on time, my only issue was escrow verification process which I didn't have enough documents on hands, I hope you add more friendly payment method soon specially for digital travelers since we can't provide proof of address documents because we travel a lot
First, Flippa takes its commission as soon as the sale is marked as completed. But if a buyer doesn't go through to the end via Escrow, or requests a chargeback on Paypal, the Flippa still holds on to their fee.
Second, sellers can hide abusive or hurtful (wrong, malicious, etc.) comments, but Flippa admins un-hide them before the sale is made. Therefore, potential buyers can get a wrong impression of the listing, even if the comments are false.
Last but not least, there are many, many, many scammers on Flippa, trying to sell sites with falsified data.
Overall, I'm never gonna use Flippa again. Ever.
I've been a customer for 6 years. This Company went downhill. If you're a buyer note that people pay hundreds to get their website featured. It does not mean that is a good deal. If you're a seller I feel bad for you. The quality of buyers and sellers are plain terrible. Customer Service is the worst on earth! They are not there to help at all! They are like robots!
Stay away!
They suspended me without any warning and I never got an explanation as to why I was suspended or why to do to get my account back.
I have practically been begging them for over 10 days now and they keep ignoring my message.
They have completely stopped responding to me since a week now. However, the funny thing is that they they have the time to close the new support tickets I create but don't have the time to respond.
They have taken my identity and money I paid to list the websites and now I am being ghosted.
Appalling!
I was going through Flippa and it asked for the verification through SumSub which requires you to submit all your identity cards. That's when I tried to read reviews about SumSub. This is what came up -
'Zarkoza states Sumsub is russian, actually they appear to be located in same area as many UKRANIAN oligarchs.
In fact their front is near the infamous Burisma Holdings and other Panama Papers companies.
But it's true they were originally funded and operated by Putin allies. Really scary that they have SO many american, european, and expat ids and personal info.'
The founders are Russian: Peter, Andrey and Yakov Sever and Vladislav Zholudev. And little is known about their background and that you should be careful before sharing your US id.
Also apparently they take all your IDs only to reject you in the end. This has been a very common problem. 'Too many people in the reviews having issues with the ID verification process and flippa support just flat out banning them and not giving them another chance to prove their identity. I'd be extremely upset and worried if I turned over my ID and everything was 100% accurate but still got rejected. Other websites were easily able to verify'
EXERCISE CAUTION!
It was good. Overall, there was some delay on Escrow's end to finalize the transaction. However, this was cleared up and the transaction was completed successfully.
Stay well.
Answer: Flippa runs for super sellers, and most of the super sellers are flippa employees
Answer: Same here. Extremely rude person.
Answer: Yes, they are! It's a robbed businesses model ( take fees => ban => wait for a nextone and so on...) I notice some racism (they hate Ukrainians). Doubled fees, fake people are bidding without payment need to relist ( it's take over 1 month, but domain renewal comes). Don't use it! Stay away!
