Yesterday I was scammed on Flippa. I was the one who bought a web site. I paid for it but then the seller decided not to pay the fee to Flippa. He just vanished and did not care about it at all. Ultimately I was the one who needed to pay Flippa. So additionally on the price I payed for the web site (a very bad one - just another scammer selling on Flippa) I also had to pay his fee. And this is happening all the time. Persons who just wants to quickly sell a web site, sells it under protection of Flippa and then disappears leaving you to pay HIS fee.
Not only you get a web site boosted by click banks but you will also end up paying additional fees for a scammers web site. STAY AWAY and get yourself a good valid business.
I sell my digital asset smoothly but realize the fee little bit extra anyway thanks flippa.
Everything is fine and perfect, but there are two things that still need to improve.
1. There is a very little gateway, they need to include more.
2. There is no option for editing the list once it published, they need to include more options.
Thanks
During transfer of ownership I had a problem with the seller. Flippa support staff got involved and solved the problem between buyer and seller.
Great help. Without their help it could have ended badly.
Josh and Ricky were great in helping me through the entire process and keeping me updated every step of the way.
Flippa says they didn't bribe me, I lost $20 on a site on their platform they gave me $50 to resolve the matter and to get the negative feedback off their site and then said I said something about someone catching COVID-19.
Do not use flippa to sell your website, there are plenty of other options out there, I've had issues with flippa and their clientele since day one. Flippa then tried to bribe me to take down the reviews I left. Me being American, I took the bribe. Don't be like me, Don't take the bribe. They paid me $50 to remove my reviews so here we are again leaving another review because they went against their word. Flippa is fake, and full of A**holes who think they're entitled to something. Flippa always decides in favor of the seller, even when the seller is obviously wrong. Flippa has given me the run around for two months making fake promises from Josh on the customer support team. Josh is rude. Don't be like Josh!
THERE ARE SCAM ARTIST ALL OVER FLIPPA< these people sell the same website and app over and over to victims and Flippa does nothing about it, Flippa didn't even refund the money I spent on a site that went bad. They told me to take it up with PayPal, such a crappy way to do business, I will be starting my own website selling business since Flippa cannot wrap their heads around such an easy task!
Easy to bid. On winning, smooth secure transaction. Overall very good experience
Buyers are invited to bid for an offer by means of several emails. You bid for an offer you are interested in until the end, i. E. until you are the sole highest bidder. In the end, you don't get the online store, website, etc. that you bid for. The seller can decide at this point whether or not to sell the store at all.
Flippa has been a great service for me as a buyer and a seller. I've never had any problems in either capacity.
I had trouble understanding the process for listing a domain or website for sale. After several helpful emails from Flippa staff I did it and received offers. I accepted an offer. After some message exchanges between the buyer, Escrow.com and myself the transaction was cancelled, reinstated then cancelled again. During these exchanges, I emailed Flippa for an explanation on transferring domain registration and got a quick, helpful reply.
Flippa's service was good and Flippa's people helpful. It is my understanding that the sale fell through because Escrow.com was unhappy with the buyer. Not any fault of Flippa.
My experience with specific transactions has always been great. In addition, I find the platform has greatly improved in terms of reducing some of the spamming and low quality listings compared with one or two years ago.
I just recently sold my website on Flippa and the process was really smooth. The buyer and I got support immediately from the team and provided answers to our questions. Made the selling, due diligence and closing process easy.
A great service from Flippa, although some of the content could be better quality.
You think you can find your new business there? Think twice and then think again. The majority of the sales made through flippa are pure garbage. Maybe 98% of the stuff being sold is not something you would like to invest to.
Process from beginning to end was smooth with plenty of help along the way!
I purchased a site on a Friday evening from a known company that builds affiliate sites. After not hearing from them through the weekend I emailed them directly and called their office in Texas. It wasn't until I reached someone at their office and they explained that the site was sold off of their website days earlier.
Now I get that these things happen but the lack of communication from this company and the lack of urgency on his part is a problem.
Also, what ever the procedure that Flippa has for sites to be brought down from a listing needs to be changed. If a company sells a site on their website they need to be able to have their site removed from public view on Flippa until it can be removed from the site completely.
Purchased a site. Received email 2 days later stating it had already been purchased a day prior, but had not been removed in time.
Definitely disappointing.
But, I did purchase a custom site from the same seller for the same price, so that resolved this issue.
It's not ideal, but it worked out. If I were not flexible and the seller had no other options, it might have resulted in a poor review.
In this case, the seller was very accommodating and gave several options, with a little extra, for the inconvenience.
It turned out better than what I originally wanted. So, I'm satisfied with the outcome.
Answer: Flippa runs for super sellers, and most of the super sellers are flippa employees
Answer: Same here. Extremely rude person.
Answer: Yes, they are! It's a robbed businesses model ( take fees => ban => wait for a nextone and so on...) I notice some racism (they hate Ukrainians). Doubled fees, fake people are bidding without payment need to relist ( it's take over 1 month, but domain renewal comes). Don't use it! Stay away!
