Soth African Fiasco

Booked two tickets to Johannesburg, S Africa from MSP. British airlines gave us the run around about setting assignments. Flighthub did nothing as the intermediary except telling me to call BA about my problem. We were finally allowed to purchase our cabin seats we wanted for $45 each leg of the trip and there were six- MSP to NY to London to Johannesburg and back again. We not only did not get our seat assignment but British airline customer service would not even speak to us about it. The airline stewardess knew something fishy happened and I do too. She indicated that we were bumped from out seats we paid a premium for. As far as I'm concerned I will never fly British Airways again. Very anti-American although, not entirely your fault- you also did not lift a finger to assist me to get a refund. BA wanted all the boarding passes as evidence-RIGHT! And gave us the run around for about three weeks and I gave up trying.

Cancellation policy!

I booked a ticket last year all went well, unfortunately the weather was so cold in Maine my husband could not fly there for his work. Not the airlines fault. But the policy that flight hub has was going to cost me over $1000 for him to fly one way. I was looking online when talking to the girl and could see that the cheapest price was $293.60, and the flight that she was booking us for was $348.10. So the credit that I had of $338.72 was basically just the profits of them. Because even though they college credit it is not I will never recommend or use flight hub ever ever again.

Flighthub.com is horrible

Please don't book your tickets with Flighthub.com. They have the most confusing team, who don't even know what prices needs to be added. The customer support team is really hopeless, and don't even respect their customer. The support team is arrogant and don't take our issues seriously. Re-scheduling is the worst part of this org, they eat more money in processing the changes. I'm really disappointed.

DO NOT USE FLIGHTHUB

I will not use flight hub again!
I booked with flighthub several times this year and hadn't had a problem until yesterday's booking. I clink on a flight that was priced at $445 and by the time I was entering my info and hit confirm the flight prices had went up to $505. I didn't realize it at the time as I was buying more than one ticket. So upon receiving my email confirmation I realized that the ticket prices was changed, when I contacted flighthubs agent and supervisor it was basically tough luck it's my fault that I confirm it. I proceeded to tell the agent there was three other flights still at the $445 price so I wouldn't have booked it at 505. They told me that I would basically pay $75 per ticket to change a $60 ticket. A flight price shouldn't change within the time you enter your info and confirm. Other booking agents including airlines have a timer at least to prevent you from losing the quoted price. Since flighthub does have that then they should at least allow you to make a change within a certain time. They were not accommodating at all and now I will take my business elsewhere.

The insurance they sell is the biggest scam, yeah they mention it's just for 24hrs after purchase but who would pay $30 insurance just in case they change their mind within 24hrs of purchase, it's deceiving most people think it's for anytime you want to change your booking. Also it's so hard to change dates on a booking without having to pay an arm and a leg. To be fair prices are usually a little cheaper than other sites

For Canadian based travel agencies, we have until 11:59pm EST of the day of purchase to cancel with a full refund if our Extended Cancellation Policy is purchased, otherwise, our standard cancellation rate rates apply.
We reviewed your booking however, according to your check out page, you never purchased the extended cancellation policy or cancelled your booking therefore neither charge was applied to your booking.

Weather cancelled my hot air balloon ride but walking the fest was fun Friday night. The food was great and there were unique items to buy and the vendors were friendly. I was glad I came and saw 4 beautiful balloons.
Rescheduling Saturday the info sheet said be there at 5:30am and then we weren't let in til 6:45, charged $5, and then told no flying - again. The fest wasn't open until ten. I felt ripped off to have to pay an entry fee for no fest for 3 hours (which I had already been to) and no ride. They printed misinformation about show up times when you couldn't even get in and then gave no option to find out and leave. You'd think they could put a sign up "No rides this morning" so we could turn around, or text us 'it looks poor' or have the money takers let us know no balloons were going up. Poor organizing to take an entry fee at 6:45AM with nothing to do for hours.

I purchased a flight for my husband on your site for Toronto at $252 but later had it rejected as the price had given me up to 266. While this may not be a great difference Flighthub should have honoured the advertised price.
Otherwise I have been pleased with the service.
