Use of website was ok. I paid for a mature tree and paid for bulk shipping and what I received was a charlie brown tree. Really. I was not expecting that at all. For the price I paid, I could have gone to a local nursery. The tree leaves are dying and I don't know why. I will try to see what will happen before filing a claim.
It took 11 days from shipping to receiving and the tree was basically dead when it arrived. I immediately transplanted hoping I could save it, but it is too far gone.
We're so sorry to hear how your tree arrived! We have sent a private message to get some photos so we can take a look and help out!
Everything arrived just fine and I I planted them the next day. The lilac bushes are already growing and have new growth.
Was disappointed when I received it as the cactus was broken and dirt was all out in the box. Needs improvement on shipping and packaging.
Their site is very informative and a plant went missing and they have already sent a replacement.
Plants were advertised as 1 gallon, the 1 gallon pots are smaller then an actual gallon by a lot actually, I did voice this concern and did email them in size comparison photos, I was missing a plant out of my first shipment all together and the dragon fruit cactus I ordered seems to be doing pretty poorly which I hate considering how expensive it was.
Nursery gallon sizes are always smaller than a standard gallon size. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We're sorry to hear about the concerns with your plant! We are reaching out to get some photos so we can assist you further!
I have ordered from Fast Growing Trees a couple times and have been very happy with my experience. The trees and shrubs came quickly and in very healthy condition. They are growing well and I will continue to use Fast Growing Trees.
Shipping took a little longer than expected. The plant container was a little dried out, the materials crumbled when I removed the plastic container. It seems to have take. Fine but I haven't had it long enough to determine for sure and it obviously hasn't bloomed and may not this year so I can't speak in that either.
Received the tree at about 5 feet tall. There were three branches, each with four or five leaves which were already nearly dead (still green but shriveling up and turning brown.) About 1/3 of the way up the main stalk was a bud that has since turned into half a dozen leaves. Today, scraping away the bark on the three branches reveals no life (no green) after just 2 or 3 weeks. So now the tree is about 3 foot tall with a small cluster of leaves 2 feet up. That cluster of leaves don't appear to be getting any larger. I water the tree every day but I don't hold out much hope for it to survive.
We're so sorry that your tree hasn't done well! We're sending out a replacement under our dormancy guarantee!
The peach tree I ordered arrived with not a single leaf on it and dead. I reached out to Fast Growing Trees and their response was to give it 3 months.
I paid $119 for a tree that arrived, dead, and then received no help from the company.
We're so sorry that your tree didn't break dormancy! We have a replacement on its way!
Took longer to get than was stated, but they came in good shape. Planted right away, been 3 weeks all seem to be doing well. Hopefully they will grow like was stated.
Tree arrived in great condition, well packaged. It is thriving in the pot in which I planted it. My only hesitation was the shipping cost.
FastGrowingTrees has worked very well for me. The trees have arrived healthy and ready to be planted. I have experienced that several of them don't make it through our New Hampshire Winters, even though all the descriptions say they will. So the warrantee is definitely worth it. I have had very good luck with replacement plants/trees (I replaced the once that didn't make it with others more cold hardy) and they processed my order promptly. Their customer service is good. They explained everything to me very clearly and were nice on the phone.
The box was smashed. Most of the dirt was out of the pot. Had to repot and then cut off several mangled leaves. Have to see if the plant survives the repot.

I purchased the warranty on an apple tree last year, and this year the apple tree seem to have died. The experts at fast growing trees walked me through how to see if the tree was still living. It was not and it was a piece of cake to replace it. The replacement tree that they sent me was amazing! It is thriving and growing like crazy. I am very pleased with the service and the patience of the staff.
I ordered 4 hollies. They arrived promptly and well packed. Three of the trees are great. The forth is not doing well. It has not died but looks very wilted. I do not know if it will live. It has hung on for 3 weeks now, but I am not sure it will survive.
Ordering was easy enough. Arrived when they said they would. I know they are not at fault for what happens once it's shipped but they arrived extremely beat up & broken with the soil every except where it was supposed to be. Just a few leaves and a branch or two left on eachThe rest remained in th box. Wasn't sure if they would or even could recover. Even so I read all the in-closed care and instructions provided. I did purchase the 1 year guarantee. So I when back on their website to at least let it be known & for documentation if they do need to be replaced. That never happened. When I found information about the damage, it read that that was pretty normal & if I had continued it would have been a full on return. Which wasn't what I wanted. So I am undecided at this point. In a couple weeks not sure they're getting any better after planting.
These emerlad Arbor vitae arrived ready to be planted and grow. Very healthy specimens! Now that they are in the ground they are thriving.
Put in an order and was told about 3-4 days later that it was "delayed". When I finally reached someone on the number the site gave me, they LiTERALLY just needed for me to "say" to them my name, address and other info that was already provided in the order! This "delay" meant that my mother wouldn't be getting her mother's day gift a couple of days late - it was about 2 WEEKS late.
Did purchase the insurance just so I wouldn't need it, only to be told by my mother that the package that her gift came in had been THROWN over her fence, resulting in the "poor little tree" (she said) being damaged so brutally she was going to have to "nurse" it and HOPE it would live.
Over all, it was quite an ordeal and I don't think I'll be ordering from Fast Growing Trees again. At the very least, not for gifting. IF I ever order from them again it will be for my own purchases. Maybe.
Definitely NOT worth the $90 I paid for a damaged tree that has to be nursed back to life.

Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
