My first order arrived during our winter when the ground was frozen so we have had to keep them alive after finding a place to keep them from freezing out in the pots they came in. I was under the assumption they would come in spring after the thaw and they didn't. Disappointed.
Just what we were looking for to replace old trees which fell during ice storm 2025.
PRICE
The trees were more expensive than the local hardware store for the same species, but those at the store didn't look as good as the photos on Fast Growing Trees, and FGT had a 3-year guarantee for a fair price. CONDITION
When they arrived, some were just under 5' from lowest branch to top, and the tops had been curved by the shipping box. None were close to 6'. They were thinner than the photos and less leafier, less full. But I'm hopeful that the arrival condition won't matter as much because they are still growing and I'm hopeful they will look good. They still look better than the ones at the hardware store, though.
SUPPORT
I responded to one of the emails I receive offering help, and asked for help. A grower responded quickly with great tips, detailed instructions, and reassurance.
SHIPPING
Unfortunately, the shipping system is falsely advertising delivery dates. My address was already entered, and I selected a shipping date and paid extra for it. It clearly said "ARRIVES on" and then showed a date. However, the trees arrived 3 days AFTER the "Arrives on" date. I had scheduled a crew of 2 guys to come help me with the planting 2 days after the promised delivery date, and had to pay them a rescheduling fee for nothing because the trees weren't here. I ended up doing the planting myself. Unfortunately, this experience was repeated on my next order as well! I just placed an order for 2 trees and paid extra to have them arrive in 3 days. I'm probably stupid for trusting the shipping date lies and false advertising again, but all-in-all, I felt I could trust Fast Growing Trees to deliver good condition trees with the 3-year guarantee.
You guys have it figured out. The plants are always fantastic quality, shipping is reasonable; what more could you want? I'll continue buying from this site because you're cheaper than going directly to the nursury and the plants are high quality.
I have bought numerous products from this company and they have all come and been in great shape from shipping. I did have a few with issues and I contacted the company and they standby their free warranty. I think the company is wonderful.
Cost, quality, selection, real fast delivery. My go-to 'nursery. The carrier who delivers the plants, at least last year, was very sloppy and the plants I ordered last year came broken or with all the soil dumped out, with crushed/open boxes. This was a great disappointment. However, FGT took care of this issue. I just hope that they have better packaging for the plants I just ordered because it was a disappointment to receive several that were in less stellar shape. Again, customer service quickly took care of the issue and so I continue to purchase again from fast growing trees.
My cherry tree I previously purchased looks fire as $#*! and my plum trees look hella good as well. My apricot tree is so $#*!ing $#*! this year too, I'm really hoping that $#*! gives me fruit! My damn father ran over my roses and wisteria with the lawnmower on a joy ride it seemed with the dam blades on too that I had got last year from y'all, so I'm ordering more $#*! at his expense. That will teach him to stay the $#*! out my $#*!. Anyways love y'all's stuff it's so TEA!
My Redbud partially died on the top over the winter only one limb made it when it had 6 Not sure if any new growth will come to make the tree have a good shape plus it is leaning in one direction. I was hoping the warranty would cover the partially lost tree but was only told to cut the dead off and hope the tree will come back looking balanced. Not sure how it will look in a couple of years and do not want to have to replace it later when it's bigger.
Great trees arrived quickly and thriving
My apricot tree arrived in excellent condition. I have more confidence in buying from fast growing trees than my local nursery. They just really know what they're doing.
Planted privacy wall of arborvitie last year. Trees are thriving. Also Apple tree and River Birch are doing well and growing.
I got good looking plants. A couple died. They were replaced.
I also ordered spruce trees. I got everything except the pistachio tree in the ground just before it rained. We've had several days of rain since. I am hopeful the deer don't eat all of the trees
Experience has been great with fast growing trees, 1 of 2 survived. Extremely well packaged and shipped! Arrived quickly especially since it was an indoor tree not tolerant to the cold whether when it was ordered. Sad that 1 died shortly after the 1 year warranty, but I am replacing and hoping for the best the second time around.
I looked and looked for a blue Azzuri rose of Sharon tree. Found it here at fast growing trees. They are both growing beautifully, the blooms are just as I expected. They did very well through the freezes this past winter. I found my fire Amelia's and they are planted and doing well so far. Healthy plants arrive.
Don't have mush area to plant but have been satisfied with the conditon of the plants that arrive and their growth after planting.
I ordered more than ten trees and 8 of them are doing very well!
I had one damaged in shipping and one that is taking its time budding. I feel confident that they all will survive but I like the one year warranty if they dont
I think you have a great selection of options.
I hope they grow and flourish here.
My plants passed away and because fasting trees has a year warranty guarantee I was able to receive more plants although I felt like $110.19 was just a tad bit much to spend when I spent $888 and some change the first go round
Everything that I have ever ordered from the store always comes in perfect condition and there's always thriving. That's why I like shopping from them.
Yes, yes, yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes
I bought a Cara Cara tree a few years ago. It survived the Big hurricane we had, four years ago then a few months later my neighbor had some people doing some work for them and they, for whatever reason poisoned my tree. The next day all of the leaves were off and it was drooping. I couldn't blame you. So that was that.
My dogwood tree and three azalea plants did not survive this winter and they were only two years old. I think you should send new ones for 50% off. Thanks!
Bought from you guys for several years now. I haven't had the first piece of fruit yesterday but hoping for next year
Purchased 50 Thuja Arborvitaes and very happy with health and size on arrival. They're doing fairly well. A little on the lime green side verses darker green but irrigating more seems to be helping. Not sure if I should fertilize as I've found contradicting opinions
Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
