Both, there are variations sometimes between the same type, and/or shipping is rough. But I've always been taken care of when things go wrong.
I bought a Royal empress from you a couple of years ago and even though I was new on the tree caring tree she made it and is so tall and beautiful I totally love it
I ordered a Lila Avocado tree and it arrived quickly, but not in very good condition for a tree that cost $170. A third of the leaves were damaged, either half brown or recently broken. Fortunately, with, TLC it recovered and is now thriving. Just ordered 2 more, and hopefully they will arrive in better condition.
I like the diversity of interesting options on this site. I'm not a big fan that the discount code is applied to your estimate before checkout, but not during checkout making it easy to checkout without the advertised discount. Feels deceptive/sneaky to try and swindle people who are not keen.
You show the discounted price, but don't apply it. The customer checks out and has to enter the discount code. So you show the discount before checkout, but if the customer isn't paying attention they pay full price unless the realize the discount wasn't applied. Deceptive.
The plants thrive well in my climate, and that doesn't happen all the time. They are replaced if they fail naturally. I love that!

This is my 3rd year to purchase these 1gallon phenomenal Lavender plants. The first year was great they seemed like they really were one gallon plants. Last year was not great. It looked like they were pints put into a gallon container with very little root growth into the gallon container. I felt like it was deceptively marketed as a gallon plant. The year before they were perfect and grew well. Half the plants died last year and the rest struggle.
Because I have had predominantly great experiences with your plants and this is the only reason I am purchasing these again this year.

I have noticed on at least 5 occasions when two plants are packed in the same box with the roots wrapped in a bag as opposed to a container. The tips of plants get broken off leaving me with a short plants. A Navajo willow, a golden Ginkgo and most recently 3 skinny Ginkgo. Otherwise I do like the company but will not buy 2 plants at a time. Lesson learned.
Last year I purchased three flowering trees and all arrived in great shape and are doing well. I'm looking forward to seeing their growth this summer.
In past experiences with Fast Growing Trees, I was not charged for shipping when redeeming my 1 year guarantee replacement order. This time I was charged $26.99 for shipping. I don't feel the shipping charge should be added for a replacement order.

I believe this is my 3rd or 4th order from FGT. Every experience has been great other than the carrier dropping the shipments at the door. Thankfully the plants were well packaged and didn't suffer any damage. Love all the info on each plant as I make my decisions.

I opened Red Delicious Apple 🍎 Tree and multiple branches were broken leaving one branch intact. I offered to pay and send it back but was told it's against policy. I received another tree less than a week.
Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
